Stayed in the Premium Studio upstairs. Great view thru double bi-folding glass doors. Noise is mininal once doors and double glazed windows are closed. Great bathroom with a great shower. Well revonated. Friendly staff. Beach just across the road that has public toliets

The place is superb - exactly the kind of relaxed, attentive accommodation that everywhere SHOULD be. Views are great, location is a very quick 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants, the room (we stayed in the upstairs studio) was comfortable and spacious, etc.
A few reviews have commented negatively on the noise - we closed the heavy curtains at night and had a very quiet sleep.

Baileys at the beach is hosted by an awesome very friendly family and thier cool dog. The units has a awsome wicked view of the beach.
Units are well equipped sort or long stays. Units have thier own cooking facilities.
How ever the water pressure, wifi are alittle poor quality but are out weighted by the views of sunsets and raises.
Will definitely be coming back soon 👍🏻

I spent many hours looking for an accommodation option in the beautiful beachside town of Whitianga, some were cheap and old, some expensive and not sure why, then this place stood out on multiple levels! Price and value come hand in hand!
*The bathrooms were immaculate and new which was delightful!
*Kitchen had everything we needed and was again clean and new.
* The view out the front door, even from the lower level room was stunning, plenty of ocean to see and the hills in the background were a treat.
* Sky TV in the lounge which I wasn't expecting, but was perfect to watch sports and movies on.
* Only a few minutes drive from the shops and literally across the road from the beach
*The owner and host, Jo, had gone the extra mile for us after I had a few requests to help make our special trip up the coromandel that extra bit romantic and didn't hesitate to accommodate our needs. She is the definition of a quality motel owner!!
I would highly recommend this accommodation option to any working professional, couple or even small family as it can accommodate for all travelers and their requirements.
5/5 from me, and know I will never need to search for accommodation ever again when traveling into whitianga.

A great motel. Clean and tidy. Friendly hosts. Beach towels provided as well as bath robes. Wife appreciated the makeup wipes and separate facecloth for makeup. Nice and quiet away from town. Would stay there again.

Great place to unwind. Across the road from the boardwalk, and walking distance to town. Comfortable and spotless. The hosts were very relaxed and friendly. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom large spotless and had brilliant water pressure. Will definitely visit again.

This was a very basic stay. I’m not sure I’d pick this again. The view was lovely. We did stay in a very rainy winter week so that may affect how we felt about it. The room was not cold, we were very warm without heating, even in August.

A motel on beach front: parked at back immediately outside back door. Good sized room on ground floor, good facilities. Can also just walk out of front onto lawn with table and chairs both on lawn and patio. Maybe a mile walk into town but easy going on beach path ( or on beach depending on tide)

We just stayed two nights here with our two year old and four year old and loved it!!!! Very welcoming and helpful hosts, clean and tidy room with all we needed and just over the road from the beach. It is a very short walk into town. Activities were set up on the grass outside our sliding door so perfect for the kids. Highly recommend

I booked this motel on line and was disappointed. I could not fault the cleaniness and the bed was comfortable. It was very tired and needed up grading and it was right at the end of the beach not at the town end so we could not walk for a meal we had to use the car. The tables outside at the front were all turned over so could not use them it was a windy day so could understand why although they were wooden so don't think they would have blown away. When I entered the office I was greeted by a dog , I am not an animal person so was not a great start.

its about a 30-40 min drive from the motel to the car park for cathedral cove which is in hahei. i think there is a ferry from whitiangi but i dont know for sure since we drove to hahei from the motel when staying we stayed .
There are more places to choose from in the Whitianga area.
