We stayed at tree Top walk motel for nearly a week. They cleaned our room once during our stay. When we got to the room it had thick layers of dust on the bedside tables. They cleaned our room on our last night. The soap and shampoo dispensers are something from maybe the 60s? With all the covid shenanigans going on is this the best way to keep things clean? We had a booking for three and it was set up for two. We had to request linen and set up the third bed ourselves. We also had to repeatedly ask for three sets of towels. The wifi was a joke. You'd get better internet in the forest. Their restaurant is fully overpriced. If you stay and need food don't sell your kidneys just walk 5min down the road. There is an iga there. The new owners need to pick up their game. Right now it certainly won't be a place we will come back to.

Mattress old & has no cushioning left in it. Ceiling fan & Kitchen work as one so if you want to sleep with ceiling fan on you must also put up with the lighting on also. Hair Dryer out of order. Limited milk sachets for tea. TV & Free WiFi reception is very low so TV channels pixelate. Small pool with no shade or pool shower. Linen was clean. Shampoo, conditioner & hand gel are fixed to the wall. Checkin not very welcoming or informative. In all of my travels both international and domestic I would rate this a 2.5.

Queen bed room was large, tidy and well furnished - I've stayed in more expensive places smaller and with fewer furnishings. The room was also well cleaned and restocked each day. I've rated the excellent score on value and facilities. It's not the Hilton and its looking a little tired all over, but we'd certainly stay there again as it had all that you need for very comfortable stay in Walpole. The bed was super comfy too.

I bought a one night stay in a deluxe spa suite, which cost me $180 for the night. Are you f*ing kidding me? This is a $90/night room! What a joke! It's clean, but seriously basic. And DEFINATELY not worth what they're charging! Haha the "spa" is basically just added in to an existing room, and the kitchenette is literally a cupboard with a kettle and microwave on top. It's what you would expect a cheap room to have, without paying extra for it. I've added photo's.

The new owners are off to a great start. They are very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortable including Kitchenettes with a microwave. No dinner service yet at the motel but we can recommend the Philippine Magic Cafe up the road.
