We've camped here a few times now , and would definitely be back for more. Lost to see around the place , and the forest drive just on the opposite side of the main road is a must. Giant trees to see and lots of places to explore. Highly recommended.

Friendly owners and staff, generous sized sites, spotless amenities - ablutions, camp kitchens, BBQs and laundry. While right by the beach on Nornalup Inlet it is sheltered from the southerlies. Close to all the local Walpole attractions: Giant Tingle Tree, Circular Pool, Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk, and The Knoll. It has a great "feel" to the place.

We booked 5 nights camping and again it did not disappoint. This time we had another 2 couples with us and they loved it as well. We were across from the camp kitchen and it is by far one of the cleanest, well equipped camp kitchens ever. You can also pick a site with a fire pit or you can use the fire pit at the camp kitchen. There is firewood for sale at the office for $20 and it is a large bag. Again the wildlife that visit the park are gorgeous. Coalmine Beach itself is a lovely sheltered spot for a picnic, kayak, fish or swim. The ablution blocks are very clean and plenty of hot water. A fantastic place to stay in our beautiful Great Southern.

We stayed here as a quick getaway with the kids in our caravan. Check in staff extrememly friendly and helpful with their local knowledge. Beautiful park set amoungst the trees and grassed areas. Wildlife come in at dawn and dusk, lovley to see them up close in their own environment. Amenities were clean and adequate. Such a quiet park, no noise issues at any time of the day! Last chance to have a fire which topped of a great break. Will be back!

We stayed here this past weekend with our camera club, and the facilities, cabin and welcome were just lovely. The birdsong was just amazing, as was the nesting tawny frogmouth, the kookaburra and the mumma kangaroos with joeys in the pouch. The cabin was more than serviceable (with a few tiny issues - like the blinds that bang against the window jamb, the toilet brush that fell apart and the lack of bench space in the bathroom), but the bed was perfect, the kitchen was wonderful, the barbecue fabulous - but oh! the ambience, the nature sounds, the silence at night - absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the city. We will be back - and soon - thank you so much :)
