Wasn't sure what to choose in Wellsville after checking Trip Advisor. Ended up at America's Best Value Inn because we were looking for something inexpensive and hopefully not too rowdy. It's definitely no-frills, but has a very friendly, helpful manager (Debra). Room was clean though it did smell as if smoking had been allowed once upon a time. To call it a "crap hole," as one reviewer did, is a bit harsh though I would only recommend it if you are basically using it as a crash pad. We were gone all day and evening both days we stayed there, so it served its purpose for us. If you want to spend a lot of time relaxing in your room, you might want to spring for something a nicer.

This place was quite old. However, it was clean. Needs to be updated - bathroom very small and no countertop - just a sink. Bed was comfortable and the a/c worked fine. Had a problem with the wireless internet, but the manager was extremely nice and let me borrow an ethernet cable.

This is definately not comparable to Country Inn & Suites or Hampton, but for what you pay, it's worth the stay. The room was very clean, carpet recently shampooed, and very spacious. Bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the Jacuzzi was outdated and I don't think had been used in a long time. When I turned on the jets, rust pieces began flying out. And not just a little. I would've complained, except I REALLY liked the mananger, Debra, and she had already dealt with my multiple issues ( I lost my value card, I needed to borrow an ethernet cable for the internet,etc) For the price of around $80, I wasn't going to complain. Besides that one issue, everything else was awesome.

The rooms were not clean. It smelled bad, there was garbage left on the sidewalk in front of the rooms. There was garbage and junk on the property, when I took the dog for a walk,I saw safety hazardsThey must have pulled up the rug and left the underlayment. It was scary, mostly transients live there. I booked through reservations. Com and they would not move me to another motel nearby.. no cancellation. I was supposed stay a week, only stayed 2 nights.

We reserved the jacuzzui suite for a romantic get away. We discovered a dirty room, heated by space heaters. The Jacuzzui did not work, and motel owner didn't seem surprised that we asked for our money back. I guess we weren't the first. Luckily Wellsville had another motel with amuch nicer and CLEAN suite. Stay away from this motel!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights.....the rooms smell awful, the shower did not work.....etc! Other hotels in town were booked because of a high school reunion. While staying there, unused my bathrobe as a blanket, and it smelled for two days afterward. I would never recommend it to anyone.....would drive to another town for a hotel before staying here!

Not sure what rooms some of these other reviewers had, but my room was a dump, it smelled of Lysol and who knows what else, floor was uneven, toilet ran constantly, front door was binding, knob came off the bathroom door, haphazard caulking jobs all thru the bathroom. Bedding had holes in it. AC put out a foul odor when the compressor kicked off. Several questionable looking characters also hung outside other rooms. The office reeked of cigarette smoke. Don't waste your time with this place.

We would have liked the opportunity to fix the issues during your stay and wish you would have contacted us before you left. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever made. We needed a room for just one night and found this one (all other hotels/motels in the area did not have any rooms available). On the phone, the lady was very nice and friendly. We requested a non-smoking room and were told that that was no problem. Well, the only thing that was 'non-smoking' about the room was that the ashtrays were removed before we got there. I grew up in a household with smoking parents and I have never smelled something that terrible. The clothes I wore while in the room went straight into the laundry after - the stink was unbearable. Besides the smoking issue, the room was simply no good - lots of cigarette burns, broken furniture, a bathroom in desperate need of repair. I did not even dare to pull the comforter back (I slept on top of the bed). I really should have left upon entering this room - my car would have been more comfortable for one night.

The high-speed internet does not work---manager keeps promising to fix it but never does. Manager complains that guests complain to much. Stay away from Worst Value Inn.

Have been a long time (years) guest at the Best Inn. After reading some of the reviews I am writing my first review. Yes it is old, but the rooms are clean. The managers do their best to keep them that way.
There has NOT been any trouble here, or any reason for the guests to worry in the 10 years I’ve been staying here. Close to 700 booking this year, that’s a lot of satisfied guests. This is a nice place with a good manager who will do her best to keep you happy. Have stayed at many motels and hotels and can find stuff to wine about in the best of them. Anything to try and reduce the bill.

I don t' know the answer to that but I would not send any humans or any animals I cared about to this place. The kennel we send our dog to is cleaner than this place was when we were there....black mold in the bathrooms, dirty water so that you didn't dare drink it or bathe in it....and rude service. These owners have only had this place for less than 2 years so the 3 star rating is based on reviews from when other owners had it which I fell for when I booked it. I would look somewhere else if I were you.
