Discover Seychelles’ best kept secret – a tropical amphitheatre of treetop villas circling the idyllic white smile of Mahé’s Petite Anse bay. Descend down lushly forested paths to the secluded powder-sand beach or rise to the dramatic heights of the contemporary spa, cantilevered off the hillside with views that stretch forever. The villa interiors are inspired by rustic Seychellois and French colonial style. Simple, whitewashed timber slat walls allow our carefully curated collection of objets d’art to sing. The verandah, day bed pavilion, and infinity plunge pool set off unencumbered views of tropical greenery, the white sand enclosed in the bay, and the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. With only 67 villas and suites raised on stilts amongst mango, jackfruit and cinnamon trees on a 180-hectare site nestled in the natural amphitheatre of Petite Anse, the resort is a haven of untouched nature and peaceful isolation. From castaway days to vibrant Creole nights, bask in the cultural and culinary essences of the Seychelles infused with legendary Four Seasons care.Treehouse villas have their own private infinity pool cleverly integrated into vast wooden terraces, indoor and outdoor showers and large ocean-view baths. Journey to wellness at the hilltop spa where yoga and invigorating treatments await. Relaxation next to the white powder sands and azure waters is taken to the next level by a beach service tailored to make your time in the warm Seychelles climate as comfortable as possible, while recreation activities bring fun and adventure to those looking to try something new. "Kids for All Seasons" will keep young guests entertained, allowing parents to spend private moments together.

My husband and I stayed here for the start of our honeymoon, and it was the absolute perfect way to kick off our trip! Rentata and her entire staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel SO special each and every moment! The buggy service and housekeeping service were beyond perfect and we even had a spa service that exceeded all expectations! We will forever dream of our private pool villa for the rest of our lives!

I will never visit this hotel again. I do not recommend it to anyone. First, the hotel is very old and has not been renovated. It seems that some semi-repairs have been made, but everything is smeared with oil paint. It smells old and poorly maintained. The rooms are not very big, old wooden furniture, which I am sure that even when they were new, they also shouted that they were cheap and of poor quality. I am amazed by the cheap nylon curtain over the bed, which is lowered every night. I feel like I'm in Bollywood. For the fourth day in a row, the flowers they had left at the reception have dried up, but there is no one to remove them from the canopy. The teak floor is unmaintained. The roofs of the houses have peeled boards. Some repairs are being carried out in the most occupied time of the year. Secondly, when we arrived, they accommodated us in the room and did not offer a tour of the complex to show us structure of the hotel. There was no usual reception wellcome for this class of hotels. Missing butler. Thirdly, for our great surprise, breakfast is not what is expected in such a hotel of the Four Seasons chain. There is no abundance, the fruits are not cooled enough. For the third morning we ask about mango and it is missing again. We ordered scramble eggs, which immediately shows if the chef is good - obviously they have to change the chef. In general, the food in the hotel is very bad, there is a main restaurant where breakfast is served and then you have to have dinner in it. I can't imagine that we will have to eat the same food of dubious quality for ten days.  Missing also healthy proposals and eating in the kitchen. The other thing that is puzzling is that there is almost no one at dinner night and at nine o'clock only our company is left alone in a whole restaurant. A dead story in general. We will have to think very carefully about finding a place to eat outside of the hotel. Fourth,  the Services are slow. There is a bar in the hotel, where they are told us that will close at 22.00 o'clock.  So, if you want to stay up late, there's nowhere to go. In the bar lacks basic drinks, which is surprising. Overall, I am very disappointed because we paid a lot of money to spend the New Year with our two children and stay 10 days on vacation. I would to say that this is the oldest hotel I've been in the last 20 years. At least there was a good restaurant and the food was up to standard. I do not recommend it to anyone. I am amazed by the evaluations I see in the trip advisor. But the world is wide and there is all kind of people, or maybe they were written by people from the staff. None of what is written in the assessments is true. The only positive is the beach. And finally, I wonder if the score about the hotel can be manipulated by people close to the hotel team, then what is the meaning and significance of the existence of platforms such as Trip advisor? Kind regards, Petya Ratcheva

Exotic hotel, located on the hills of mountains, providing breathtaking views over the ocean. Big green territory you can walk through or ride a buggy, spacious well equipped villas with private polls and panoramic windows overlooking the ocean coast. Tea and coffee machine in the rooms. Nice spa on the top of the hills with spectacular views. Two restaurants a la cart and one extra, operating three times a week on the beach: 1. ZEZ restaurant: main restaurant for breakfasts, iconic asian menu for dinner. Great choice and perfect taste. 2. Kannel - operating for lunch and dinner. Nice menu to choose your preferences. 3. Beach shack - grill menu, specializing on seafood and meat. Also, near the main pool there’s portable grills for lunch menus. And beach bar with live music. Special thanks to vocal band Beach line is spacious and comfortable. Beach guys are very helpful and attentive. Enough water activities and sports. Even the surf shack. There’s also a kids club near the main pool with separate kids pool. Be aware, that sometimes there’s biting plankton and small jellyfish in the water, so if you are allergic, can cause itching and irritations. But, to return you to reality from heavenly views, some things disappointed and need to be improved to meet the standards of Four Seasons in full: - Reactions on Four Seasons app chat are sometimes late, better use phone calls. - villas housekeeping is not as perfect as you expect, a little bit disappointing and don’t meet the standards of Four Seasons. - sometimes slow stuff service in different aspects. But, this minor things can be really overtopped by pleasant and helpful reactions of some team members, doing their best to neutralize inconveniences and solve any occurred issues. Special thanks to Marcel Oostenbrink, the General Manager. Hassan Ahmed, Chief de cuisine, thanks to ZEZ restaurant Chef, Renata 😉👍🏻 at Front Office and Vanessa from the Spa. And of course to lots of others, doing their best to make the guests of this hotel relaxed and enjoying the vacation.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights before travelling to the Four Seasons on Desroches. Sadly we were left very disappointed with this resort (the Desroches resort was much much nicer!). Firstly, our room was a HUGE disappointment. We had booked a hilltop ocean view villa and were assigned room 504. Well ‘hilltop’ was not the case at all. Our room and deck was in constant shade. It was on the side of the hill (not the hilltop) and surrounded by huge trees which blocked both the sun and most of the view. The pool was freezing, as it was always in the shade, and there was no where to sunbath at all. I do not recommend at all. What a waste of money. Secondly, after months of emailing back and forth with the hotel (it took months because this particular hotel never responds to emails) and informing them I was vegan, on the first day I ordered a vegan meze to the room for lunch and after being reassured twice that is was all vegan I was surprised to see what I thought was feta in the salad and two dips that obviously contained dairy. Before eating, I questioned the hotel for a third time and they reassured me it was vegan once again. My husband then ate some and agreed it wasn’t. On the fourth communication the staff admitted that is was actually dairy and wasn’t vegan. Luckily for the hotel I am vegan though choice, because they could actually kill someone next time with this poor attitude and attention to detail. Thirdly, booking was a nightmare. I had to repeat myself over and over again via email and also once at the resort that we had booked three nights and not two nights (the hotel even rang us during our stay and asked us when we were checking out when we weren’t checking out until the next day!!). Fourth, the service on the beach is very very very slow. You constantly have to get up and find a waiter. Fifth. We did the creol night. And even though I only had a plate of vegetables they charged me the same price as the full set menu which my husband had (including meat and fish!). Over €200 for some vegetables! What a joke. This hotel is so obsessed with squeezing every penny from people it has lost all common sense. Finally, on our last night we were called at MIDNIGHT as there had been a mix up with the flights to Desroches. We were obviously fast asleep and it was very distressing. Obviously this wasn’t the hotels fault, but on arrival back at this resort after Desroches, our international flight was not until midnight and we wanted a day room for the day. This hotel wanted to charge us €1200 for 9 hours use of an even worse room than we previously had. Even after waking us up at midnight!! Surely someone should have thought to give us this room complementary out of good will? Two positives: the beach is beautiful. Zez is lovely. But I do not recommend at all sorry!

Dear Katie, Firstly, I want to thank you for the valuable feedback that you have provided us on TripAdvisor. I am truly disappointed to learn that your recent experience did not meet your expectations and for this, would like to put forward my sincere apologies. It has come to my attention that our team is in touch with you regarding all of your valid mentioned points. Please be assured that we will do our best to make this up to you. In regards to the villa itself, I looked back at your chat messages with our team and regret to say that your comment about the villa was overlooked hence we were unable to provide you the rightful experience. The team and I are also terribly sorry that the option of a complimentary villa was not made available to you upon your return from our sister property on Desroches Island. Regarding your remarks about the booking process, all of your mails have been replied to within 24 hours, except for one. While we did our best, we understand if this was not prompt enough for you and will work as a team to improve on this delay. All in all, I deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused. These instances, by no means, are the accurate representations of the attentive and luxurious service Four Seasons is known to offer. Thank you once again for your feedback, which will help us to improve our service. I hope that we may have another opportunity to welcome you to Petite Anse in the future for a more positive experience this time around. Kind regards, Marcel Oostenbrink General Manager
