Ideally located all-suite hotel in Tuckahoe in Westchester County. SpringHill Suites Tuckahoe is close to a wide variety of shops, dining and local businesses. Suites are spacious and modern with design elements from West Elm.

Worked with the Director Sales to organize a hotel room block for a recent trip to New York for our soccer team. Needed a fair number of rooms and was concerned, personally, about the pandemic and how our family would stay safe while traveling.
Organizing the room block was easier than competing hotels in the area, the team had a private room setup for a grab-n-go breakfast coordinated around convenient times based on game schedules, and the girls really thought they were special signs welcoming them to the hotel.
This was my first time traveling out of state and staying in a hotel since the beginning of the pandemic and did not know how clean the hotel was going to be or how we could keep our family safe while traveling. All concerns eased when we arrived. The rooms no longer have carpeting which seems like a small change but think it is significant because you can tell the floor is clean. Even the remote is placed inside a plastic bag after it has been cleaned by the hotel staff. It is these small things that help ease any concerns.
Hotel itself is brand new, opened in May 2020, and room sizes are unbelievable. This was a relatively short trip for us but the closets are huge! Great location, close to many restaurants and not far from the highway.

We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and 1 trundle bed. The trundle bed was very uncomfortable according to the loser of the 'short straw' challenge. Queen beds were typical Marriott comfy, but one bed squeaked quite a bit. I was surprised to see some reviews say it was a new facility as it feels more like a refurbishment.
It's ~ 1/2 mile from a train station and nice greenway. Breakfast bags included yogurt, apple, and a tasty home-made scone. Only one of the 3 bags had orange juice. Bags are pre-packaged so we got another bag that had the juice. They were running low on breakfast bags when we left, so you may want to grab one early.
I observed some staff in the evening not wearing masks in the common area, or wearing them below their noses, as well as some visitors who appeared to be local. They were worn when we checked in.

The site says they have a plugin for electric cars. I called ahead and was told their plugin would work for my Honda Clarity hybrid but it doesn't - they only have TESLA plugins. When I checked with the manager on arrival he immediately said no. He could have at least told me that there was a charger that would work (at a cost) 10 minutes away by the train station. These folks know nothing about plugins.
Elevators not marked asking folks to limit number getting on elevators. Best to stay on first floor if possible. Very hard to turn off air filtration system in room. No information about quality of air filtration system or whether it's been upgraded due to Covid-19

I had a knee operation on Friday and was not able to get into my home as I could not bend my knee to walk up the steps. I booked a three night stay at this new and very clean Marriott. Check in was quick and easy , just what I needed. The front desk offered to bring me a box breakfast if I could walk to morning buffet. Housekeeping was able to clean my room very well every AM quickly so I could get back into my room and rest my knee from procedure. Bed was very comfortable. When I made breakfast buffet it was well supplied and the attendant was great at her tasks and helpful and personable. All in all Springhill suites made my uncomfortable situation very comfortable. I will be using this location again. Kudos to whole staff

Staying here for business. Clean, well lit, recently refreshed hotel in a quiet location. No views or anything, but that’s probably not why you’re in Tuckahoe.
Staff so far have been nice. Manager Gary emailed me before my stay to check in with me. Since I had back to back stays paid for by two different companies, they made sure my stay was seamless and I kept the same room without hassle.
Price is reasonable and standard for Marriott.
It can be a little frustrating to stay in a room for a whole week and not have actual housekeeping (due to COVID 19 precautions). The only reason this bothers me is because the floors are engineered wood and tile, so things like stray hairs and every speck of dirt builds up and is so easily seen. I’m sure I can ask for a mop and they would oblige. Not their fault we are going into the third year of a pandemic.
But they do provide all you need when you ask—new towels, toilet paper etc. They picked up any garbage I left outside my room quickly.
They also have a guest laundry (a little pricey at three dollars to wash and three dollars to dry, but convenient)—and a nice little pantry with drinks, chips, and microwave meals. The rooms do come with a fridge and microwave.
The rooms are large suites and Marriott partnered with West Elm to add some modernity and style. There is a large seating area with ottoman, a desk with divider, then a large sleeping area. Bathroom is large too. Beds are average. Plenty of closet space. Extra blankets and sheets there as well.
I also applaud that they require masks.
Internet is fast (though I was connected to enhanced internet and not sure if that made a difference).
Oh, and close to a train station that takes you into Grand Central Station! About a mile away. The downtown is sort of built around the station, and it has a village feel—lots of shops and restaurants.
Definitely recommend this spot. Will be staying here often while I have business nearby.

This is one of the nicest Marriott properties we have stayed at. The location is great and near a major parkway. It seems they host many wedding guests on weekends but the common areas do not seem overly crowded even when the hotel is sold-out. We stayed there for a family event nearby. The double queen suite we stayed in was gorgeous! Brand new, modern, spacious and super clean. There is plenty of space for relaxation in your room. The beds were super comfy! Housekeeping and the Front Desk Staff were super quick and provided us with all our extra requests like extra towels, etc. I must mention that the bathroom is gigantic, as well as there is a huge walk-in closet. Breakfast is served during the morning hours and absolutely delicious. They had so many choices including hot oatmeal (my favorite). The outdoor space is beautiful too. Although they do not have an outdoor pool, the lounge furniture and fire pit outside are great spaces for additional relaxation! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return. A+ all around in every category.

I have been a Marriott Platinum Elite member for many years. This hotel exceded my expectations. The premium Queen Suite was modern and spacious. Most importantly, the hotel was immaculately clean. There was plenty of cleaning happening during the day. Lots of plastic serving utensils were readily available to guests. Housekeeping was offered on a daily basis.The staff were very accomodating with requests. I even received a handwritten note thanking me for choosing this property!

This hotel didn’t meet our expectations. Hallways are filthy and in desperate need of a good vacuuming. My sheets had hair on them, I had to request new ones at 10:00 at night. Yellow water for some unknown reason, our bathroom sink drained poorly so I was able to see the color halfway through brushing my teeth, so that’s nice. By far the worst hotel breakfast we have ever had. Nothing is replenished after running out. Never had hot water. Coffee was scarce. Seating area is ridiculously small, nowhere near enough room to accommodate a hotel of this size. To top it all off, they pack up and take away whatever crumbs are left before it even ends. I’m tired of these Hotels using Covid as an excuse not to offer full services. We were in Florida recently and stayed at several Hilton’s that had full service, it’s a choice.

I wish I could review the guests as well as the hotel because they would get VERY different rates! The hotel was phenomenal. Clean, updated and spacious rooms. Our AC wasn't working and within 5 minutes of calling the front desk the lovely maintenance worker was up and fixing it. We were impressed with how quickly they responded. Unfortunately the guests above us were extremely loud all night which kept us up. We did call the front desk and it seemed to quiet for a bit. We did not receive housekeeping while there because they only clean every other day which wasn't an issue for us. The second night we began smelling an extremely strong scent of marijuana. Again we called the desk and they informed us many guests had complained and they were looking into it. The smell came and went for the next hour or so and eventually went away. Neither of our issues had anything to do with the hotel directly and we understood they were outside of their control. The breakfast on Monday morning was small but well stocked even when we showed up at 8:30 and it ended at 9am. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The staff was extremely friendly and we constantly saw people cleaning. Overall we were very happy and would stay again if we were back in the area.

I have stayed about 7 nights at this hotel, during 2 trips. I would like to compliment Jae-mone at the front desk for her help and kindness during my 2nd stay. The hotel is conveniently located near people I needed to visit. It is clean and most of the staff was helpful. However, the breakfasts were not replenished enough during the times there should have been food and what was available in the last half hour was nowhere near what was available early on. During my first trip I had no issues with the room but during the second trip there were, and although I requested help they were not fixed. People should be aware that this hotel is in a commercial area, there is no place to walk to if you need a pharmacy or a meal, except a brewery which looked great and featured food trucks. I felt perfectly safe there and will definitely return there.
