Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
We had a quiet, comfortable stay while heading south through New York and New Jersey. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked with the exception of one lightbulb, which was quickly replaced. The front desk staff and the maintenance engineer were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Our one “complaint” was with the height of the toilet seat. For old folks with old knees, it’s much too low and there was nothing to grab onto. It also would have been helpful to have a listing of the tv channels. There was no channel guide on the remote. We had to surf through the channels to see what was on.
We had a very good dinner in The Koi Lounge. Food was good! Price was reasonable! Server/bartender was very pleasant, but service was slow because she was working alone. The kitchen is not adjacent to the lounge, so she had to do lots of running back and forth. The main restaurant was closed because the hotel was not busy enough to warrant opening it in the middle of this week.
The breakfast buffet @ $18 was very good. It featured a good variety of hot and cold items + eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Good coffee!
We would stop here again when passing through.

This 3 story hotel in the middle of a treed area appears to have been just built. Everything is brand new. The room's are huge with every possible convenience imaginable. Really excellent.
One however needs instructions on how to use the bathroom. The shower has only one fixed glass panel on the shower side. That is half a door so to speak. To reach the shower faucet you have to get in with at least half your body in the shower stall. If you are wearing anything you will get wet. If you are undressed you will get a jolt of hot or cold water depending on how far you opened the tap. To use. Turn the shower head as far as possible towards the wall before you do anything.
The mirror is L shaped with one mirror facing you and the rest of it on the wall to your left. Right in the angle at your eyesight level is a lamp. If you are facing the mirror you see the left side of your face. The right side is not lit enough to shave. So shave your left side then turn facing the mirror on your left and finish shaving the right side. There are no bell boy service so get a dolly and handle your own luggage. To find the ice and vending machine take a right after you exit the elevator and walk down to the end of the corridor. There are no signs. There is a free open air parking lot. The self service breakfast buffet is pretty good.

We stayed for just one night while passing through. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We dined at the Koi Lounge. Drinks and the meal were wonderful! Chantal was a delight! She was attentive, helpful, and friendly, making us feel right at home. The beds were very comfortable with plush pillows. The atrium is huge, and attractive with a modern vibe. What wasn't modern was the alarm clock with the iPhone dock. If you happen to have a first generation iPhone with the super wide connector, you'd be all set. At least there were plenty of AC receptacles to plug in our chargers.
Suggestion to hotel: We used the EV charger, and found it occupied when we checked in around 4:00 pm. The cars were gone later and we were able to plug in, thankfully. We've stayed at other hotels that restrict access to the chargers for guest only using an access code. There is a nearby office complex with paid EV chargers for workers. We suspect that the hotel's free charger attracts them, limiting access for guests. Please consider limiting EV access to hotel guests.

Safe in the room didn’t work because of low battery. Headboards we’re torn, and bathroom doors and tiles are in disrepair. Every time someone closes room on the same floor, our room door smashes. We didn’t even get free water bottles, and Purell stations didn’t have soap.

I would give this place half a star if I could. They are very rude, and unaccommodating, with terrible attitudes.
First of all, the rooms on the first floor have windows facing the lobby, not outside, so you hear everything that goes on in the lobby at all hours of the night. Then, when you call the front desk, because they are partying at the bar past 1 am, they tell you that they cannot do anything because they reserved the bar until 2. It doesn’t matter to them that my wife, my 2 children, and I could sleep because of the party in the lobby.
Then, when we asked for a new crib sheet for our child an hour and a half before checkout, so that they could nap before we left, they refused because we were checking out soon. Spectacularly rude and disrespectful.

I arrived at 12:40 PM, thinking I would grab lunch before checking in. Although their website says the restaurant serves "breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert", it was dark, with a rope across the entrance, and no staff anywhere to be seen. Same for the adjoining lounge, which the website says they serve "Lunch, Dinner, Dessert". Off to the front desk, where I was greeted with BARELY a grunt by the solitary person on duty. Despite showing my IHG Diamond Elite card, I was offered NONE of the amenities that normally go with this. I was the only guest in the lobby, yet there was no real greeting, welcome or small talk. Definitely the worst check-in experience I've ever had in an IHG hotel. After getting to my room, I had difficulty finding the toilet paper in the bathroom. I was about to grab the spare roll and use that, but when I reached under the vanity for it, I found it - in a completely ridiculous, hidden, inconvenient, and unreachable FROM the toilet location. Plus, it's open at one end, so when you pull on the roll, it slips right off of the dispense anyway. See photos. Glad I only had to stay one night.

We cannot this hotel due to their lack of adherence to Covid restrictions. At check-in, the front desk were not wearing masks. When we asked if masks were required, the staff member said yes, but added that she didn't wear one since she was vaccinated. There was a bar mitzvah going on and NOBODY was wearing a mask. We were incredibly uncomfortable and considered leaving. Instead, we used a rear door to enter and exit the hotel, which allowed us to avoid the common areas.
The 2 keys they gave us at check-in did not work.
Our room was fine. The room was clean, the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The lounge chair in the room (Room 138) was stained; we chose not to use it. There were no extra towels.
Not a hotel we would recommend.
Note: we are IHG members so our experience was especially sad.

Stayed there one night. There was no toilet paper or hair dryer in the bathroom and the alarm clock did not work. Problemscwerecsttendedvto quickly. The carpets could use replacing. On the positive side, staff very helpful and friendly, the room was quiet and we ate at the bar/restaurant in the lobby. Food was good and the salmon my husband ordered was $5 cheaper than other restaurants in the area.

Stayed at the hotel July 15 to July 17, 2022. First night I checked in went to my family event on Friday night, went back to my room key would not work went to front desk 3 times that night they finally contacted someone on maintenance to let me in. Second day went to brunch again after going back to room key would not work 2 more times to front desk and maintenance opens the door.Got dress for a BBQ at hotel and 2 hours later went back to my room to get rest before next event again key not working to get in room front desk person comes up to my room and can't open the door either. She tells me she will be back and never returns 20 minutes later I go down to find out what is going on and let her know she just left me waiting in hallway, she informs me she had to call maintenance to come repair the lock, after waiting in lobby for 2 hours maintenance shows up and can't open door either, said the front desk person gave him dead batteries, so he had to go to store for batteries. 2.5 hours later I get in room medicine and clothes were in room. Had 30 minutes to get dressed for a formal event which I was late. Later after event the key still doesn't work can't make this up smh. After all the waiting and not being able to get in room the only want to give me $50 off unacceptable. Do not stay at this hotel never again worst customer service ever!!!

Stayed for 3 nights. Very helpful, Clean, Quiet.
i had one issue there:
Some of the rooms are open to outside (with windows) while some are to inside (with the windows to the lobby which you'd obviously never leave open so those rooms essentially have no window. Only these were available when i came. there was also no AT&T reception in my room.
They did immediately offer a room swap for the next night if there was availability but i would have to be there at 1pm to check. when i came back at 4:30pm there was none.
Other then that all was great.

Yes they do, I think it's on the 2nd floor.
West Nyack Car Service - Carlos at: (845) 422-0000 or 845-358-3131 it's best to text. About $110.00 including tip. The hotel may also have other recommendations.
The hotel has a shuttle service; however, I don't know all areas to which service is provided. Best bet is to call the hotel directly and inquire. Also, recommend Uber. I would not recommend car rental for driving into Manhattan for visitors.
It's about 45 minutes to Manhattan; you can certainly take an Uber. Do you have the address for the Jehovah's Witness headquarters ?
you may want to call them.
