We were looking for a place that had an indoor pool and large room for four adults for a late week getaway. Very close to many restaurants and mall. Very close to LEGOLAND and many scenic areas.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Happy Covid protocols are done and received really good care from the daily room service and having a breakfast on site that fed everyone and even a little more than usual. Thank you for great service and for having a wonderful staff.

My experience was similar to other reviewers. Good location near highway with lots of shopping nearby. Spotless, comfortable room with convenient kitchenette. Also provided a cooktop when requested. Loved that the sleeping and sitting area could be separated by a curtain that you pull across. Due to Covid, the breakfast was a grab and go with a hot and cold selection. We selected the cold one that had OJ, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bagel and cream cheese. All the items were pre-packaged and as a kosher traveler I was pleased that all but the yogurt had a kosher symbol on the package, so this was a plus. We booked a queen bed studio suite and were given Room 222. We were disappointed. As mentioned by others, the size of the bed was narrower than queen-size. I called the front desk and was told adamantly that it was queen size and that anyway they were all booked up and no other rooms were available. No guarantee it will be any wider than the bed in Room 222, but if you are a couple that might not be comfortable in a double size bed, you may want to consider the queen bed 1 bedroom suite as another reviewer asserts it has a true queen size bed. I managed with the narrower bed for 2 nights, but my opinion of the Hilton brand has gone down a notch with this experience.

All of our beds, regardless of room type (one bedroom suite, queen studio or double queen studio) all have the same exact bed size. These beds are provided to us by Hilton and are queen beds, we do share these comments with our providers to see if there are any improvements that can be made. We stayed at this property for one night which was the first time at a Home2 Suites. We were impressed by how clean it was everywhere we went - lobby, parking lot, elevator, breakfast area and in the room itself. The lobby was nicely decorated and check in was as easy as could be using the digital key app. We had a one bedroom queen suite which was great. It had two televisions and a refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchen table, along with real glassware, plates and bowls, not styrofoam or plasticware! The breakfast that was included in the price was better than average and the bacon and egg sandwich was really good. Hotel is pet friendly with a jar of dog treats at the front desk.

I stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Middletown for 3 nights/4 days. I am very disappointed at the time I spent there. The rooms were dusty with visible dust covered around the tables and lamps and telephone. Everything felt dusty, even the "cleaned" towels. There were food crumps on the sofa bed. The bedsheet smells. The ceiling had stains. The cleanliness of the hotel was terrible.
On Sunday morning around 8:30 am, we woke up to the loud sounds of the fire alarm. We had children with us and the fire alarm scared them. There was no announcement. We all stepped outside and was told by someone we had to leave. We were all wearing our pajama's and slippers. We were told to go down the stairs and outside... it was raining and cold that day and none of us even had our jackets or umbrella's. We had to wait for the fire department to come. We waited outside in the rain freezing our butts off about 20 - 30 minutes before we were allowed back in.
On Monday we left our hotel in the morning and came back around 6:30 pm. Our room was not cleaned. I called housekeeping and told them our room was not cleaned. All he said was "sorry, do you need anything"? I asked for towels and toiletries. My sister in law who booked a room next to us was in the lobby when they asked her to bring me the towels and toiletries. They told her they only had one housekeeper that day. That is totally unacceptable.
The shower pressure was terrible. We got more water standing in the rain during our fire drill then the shower in the tub. It is the weakest shower I've encountered.
The sofa bed was uncomfortable and every movement you hear loud creaks.

I am sorry to hear that you had such an unpleasant stay with us. I can understand the inconvenience of a fire alarm going off, and having to evacuate the building when this happens however, we are responsible to evacuate all guests when a smoke alarm is triggered in a guestroom as it is a sign of possible fire and a requirement of the fire department that we do so, unfortunately such things are out of our control and the safety of our guests is always the utmost importance to us all. So it is necessary for the building to be evacuated when smoke is detected and the fire department dispatched. In regards to housekeeping services, per Hilton, we aren't to enter rooms on a daily basis as a COVID pre caution. There are multiple signs in your guestroom to call for service should it be desired. We are happy to provide fresh towels and toiletries daily upon request. We did have a full staff on all weekend however when services were requested, the team had left for the day. Again, we apologize for any and all inconveniences that you may have experienced.

I recommend this hotel to everyone who is staying in the Middletown area or traveling on route 84. This hotel is a new hotel and if you have not stayed at a home2suite you are in for a treat. Every room is a suite with full refrigerator and kitchenette, if you like cooking and saving money, you can ask for a infusion system to cook on. There is a weight room, pool and grills to enjoy. See attached pictures below.
I definitely recommend and will be back again.

We stayed in a studio suite that had a kitchen area, with a microwave, dishwasher and full size refrigerator. The living area was separated from the bed with a pull out partition. The room, and the entire hotel was very clean, and looked liked it was fairly new. The Fitness Center was open, but because of the virus, the use of the pool was by timed reservations. Grab and Go bags were offered for breakfast. We didn't take any, so I don't know what was in them.

Very clean facility. Everything was working and the suites are large. The price is really reasonable considering the large kitchen area, full size fridge, micro, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc. This is a fairly new addition to the Hilton chain and we were impressed by attention to detail.

We would give a 0 if we could. We called this hotel and told them we needed to make a reservation for our son. The clerk said no problem and gave us a confirmation number. My 19 year old son drove over 4 hours and arrived at this hotel at 10:30PM. Kate refused to let him check in. We called the hotel to ask why and we were told he is not 21 so he can't have a room. They knew it was for our son, but never asked his age or mentioned a 21 and over check in. So he was left alone in NY at 10:30PM. Kate at the desk was NOT helpful & said she cancelled the reservation. It was obvious that she could care less because she hung the phone up on me. I called the main Hilton number to see if the would help me and I just got the same useless speech and a hollow apology. Do your job! When someone says they need a room for their kid common sense would dictate that you ask their age. People from out of state don't know NY laws. SHAME ON YOU HILTON for turning a kid out on the street.

I am very sorry that we were not able to accommodate you son. Unfortunately it is a policy that is on our Hilton website, our vanity site and with Hilton that we do not allow anyone under the age of 21 to check in/stay with us. I apologize that when you got the reservations desk this was not relayed to you, I've looked into the reservation and it was booked through central reservations and not here at the hotel. Had you told the agent you were booking the room for your child, they would have advised that our minimum age required is 21. I can appreciate that this was an inconvenience and I do know that Kate did attempt to find your son alternate arrangements but did not have any luck finding a hotel in the area that would accept anyone under the age of 21.

I always choose this hotel first when in the area. The amenities are great and they're very friendly. The pool is heated. The hotel is immaculate. The breakfast station ha6d choices freon freshly made waffles, to breakfast cereal.

The hotel staff is simply amazing. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were amazing. Angela at the front desk was a wealth of in. The rooms were amazing. These rooms were so well thought out. A full kitchen, plates silverware, dishwasher, microwave and a full size refrigerator. The room was clean and inviting. Temperature controls were perfect, the bathroom was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel has BBQ’s, an out door patio and a sitting area in the front of the hotel that was comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was wonderful and had a decent variety of items. The pool was great, maybe a bit cold but refreshing. There is a lot to be said about this gem of a hotel and tonight we received an email from the General Manager, Lisa Mays, checking to see how our visit went. You don’t see that very often but it goes to show what a wonderful operation that this hotel has. They truly are customer friendly and they care. We will be going back for sure. Probably the best hotel suite we have ever stayed in. Bravo 👏

We were there in August, and the pool was open then, but you had to reserve a time slot.
Yes! You have the choice of a studio suite or an upgrade to a One Bedroom suite. All rooms include a sofa bed and kitchens with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and dishware.
There is currently a one time pet fee of $95.00 per stay (not per night) for a dog.
