It's not fancy, just clean, friendly and great atmosphere.
Right downtown in Saugerties near the restaurants and shops. The building is old (1864, I think) and the rooms are furnished in the style of that era.
We love authentic and hate bland but often authentic means run down. Not this place. Very well kept and, as I said, clean.
Breakfast was great. The owners are super friendly and helpful.
Note: if you need a big flat screen, forget it. TV was tiny. More relevant (to us) was the strong wifi signal.
All in all, sweet.

This is a lovely place to stay, the rooms were all decorated differently with there own special touch, very clean and tidy, is a little hard to find but the owner was very helpful and stood outside to help us in, it has a great location being only 1.5 miles from the show ground and in the centre of town so walking distance to all shops and restaurants, i have to say looking at one of the menus from when it was a cafe i was amazed and wish they still had the cafe, but they told me they are looking into adding a breakfast to the deal, and hope to do that soon, it is an amazing little place and i would highly recommend it to everyone.

I visited B&B Tamayo in order to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city for a few days. I had an amazing stay here! It's conveniently located in the downtown area, there are tons of thrift shops, boutiques and restaurants all around the B&B. The Tamayos were incredibly helpful, they know the area well, and they were lovely to be around. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and cozy. Everything was wonderful! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away, or anyone just passing through! Five stars!

We visited Saugerties for the first time this fall and had a lovely stay at B&B Tamayo. The Tamayos went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station (we are two new yorkers without a car) and cooked us a delicious breakfast. They were fun and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very big and comfortable, and the B&B is right in the middle of town so we were easily able to walk around. We had such a great time!

A bit of a European village, contrast rural America with gentrified frills, the down town is peculiar rural, but methinks lovely rustica. Close proximity to the highway North or south, a 6 mils to Red Hook Bridge, Woodstock, etc., lost in a old village...hey Misss Lucy across the street a nice place to eat. Room is large spacious, clean, bed perfect but not sumptuous, sparse and attractive, and smells good! Shower a pleasure, shampoo and body wash, no wrapped everything, wrapped soap can drive me nuts, a large bathroom. No tv, no coffee, no desk but excellent wifi. Room especially to yoga or exercise. The sidewalk just below, coffee next door, wine across the street. Windows.

We stayed here in September and now plan on staying here every time we are in the area. We chose the White Room. It was spacious and elegant. The bed was comfortable, the quiet ceiling fan kept us cool, and we had Provençal quilts and velvet armchairs. The bathroom was clean and huge. Rickie was very welcoming. Great central location too.

Spent this past weekend in Saugerties found this hidden jewel right in the middle of town. Clean, friendly and reasonable. Centrally located and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The Tamayo's couldn't be more friendly or helpful. They are converting to a B&B vs an inn. Can't wait to try their breakfast. You can't go wrong if you stay here and I am very picky.

A Saugerties Bed and Breakfast that's right downtown, right over a great restaurant (Cafe Tamayo), and only a few minutes from the HITS (horse shows in the sun) fairgrounds and all the other great Saugerties festivals. Comfortable, very reasonable rates, friendly innkeepers, great stay!

Located right on the very happening Partition Street in Saugerties, NY. Clean, comfortable and spacious! Lots of free parking in the rear for guests. The bathroom is as big as the bedroom. Lots of character! Many options for lunch and dinner within easy walking distance. Breakfast is included at the B&B.
