Built by the Schoellkopf family to resemble the Bell Inn in Finedon, England, and named after the red carriage that brought General Marquis de Lafayette to Niagara Falls, the Red Coach Inn has been welcoming guests to Niagara Falls since 1923. Overlooking the spectacular Upper Rapids just 500 yards from the American Falls, the inn is Niagara’s most distinctive historic structure, with its English Tudor exterior and warm English country ambiance. Calling all Tesla car owners! The Red Coach Inn has partnered with Tesla and has installed two charging stations at the hotel–the very first ones in Niagara Falls, NY! Parking is free for all our hotel guests as well as charging your Tesla car. Just look out for this Tesla vehicle charging sign, pull up, charge, and enjoy your stay with us!

The Red Coach Inn Historic Bed and Breakfast Hotel delights guests with its proximity to Niagara Falls and the charm of its quaint atmosphere. The provision of a full, fresh breakfast and free parking adds value, though opinions on the restaurant's pricing vary. Rooms are often described as spacious and comfortable, exuding historic charm, but a handful of guests have raised concerns regarding upkeep.
Reviewers celebrate the hotel's cleanliness and the staff's attentiveness, although a few instances of inconsistent service have been noted. The calming sounds of nature contribute to a generally peaceful stay, especially on the higher floors.

Stunning is all I can say! We had the pleasure of staying here in November. We stayed in the Victoria room since there were four of us. We were aware of the stairs so that wasn’t an issue for us. The room was more like an apartment! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room. Not to mention the views! This inn was exactly what we were looking for. I wish we had more days to stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place full of charm. Also, the breakfast was delicious!

I think the best part of this B&B was the location, which is difficult because everything was amazing. We were able to walk right up to the main falls and back to the hotel with ease, basically only crossing one main road. Being so close the the Upper Rapids was cool to see from the window of the Coventry Suite, but the view would have probably been better from a room not on the first floor. Since the B&B did not have an elevator, it was nice being on the first floor to avoid carrying luggage upstairs so pros and cons to that. We also splurged and got the romance package which included scattered rose petals throughout the room. The staff did a good job of not only doing the bed and the jacuzzi, but also the bathroom dresser, tv etc. It was literally throughout the room to make it feel more close and cozy. The package also included a dinner certificate for $75 to their restaurant which covered more than half our bill. The food in the restaurant was delicious but at night it was difficult to see the rapids from the window so any seat in the restaurant is fine. The staff does just about anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We ended up making great time and coming 3 hours earlier than check in. We called when we were a hour out to inform them and they were able to make the room ready in time which including adding the chocolates, champagne, and rose petals. While they may not always be able to do this, it was nice to have one less thing to worry about when arriving early. The parking is on-sight so we did not have to worry about finding a spot, and with their location we were able to walk to goat island and the main falls without any issue. We will definitely be staying here again when we go back to Niagara Falls.

The room was very clean, comfortable and contained everything one would need plus extra touches including relaxing music coming from a BOSE sound system, bathrobes and tasteful decor. The bed was comfortable and had extra pillows and the bathroom/shower was beautiful. Continental breakfast in the fridge. The location was perfect with free, on-sight parking and a great view of the Niagara River rapids across the street. Not much open within walking distance due to COVID - 19 shutdown, except of course for NF State Park and the falls, which are a short stroll from the Inn. It was a sad, yet amazing experience to walk throughout the park and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Niagara Falls, with so few people around. This was a brief one-night stay, but I plan to visit again when possible and next time enjoy a meal at the restaurant. I hope the businesses in the area can survive and rebound.

I chose this hotel because of the location and it worked out great. The hotel is right across the street from the Niagara River which you can watch while you have your meal on the terrace. The room was well maintained and a good size, when I asked for ice and water it was delivered within 5 minutes. The park is just down the road within walking distance and the hotel is situated well away from the convention center and "seedier" part of town with the cheap souvenier shops. The only issue I had with the room is the jet tub which also serves as the shower is difficult to navigate when you are short like me and also rather slippery if you're not careful, maybe some kind of non slip mat could be provided. Since we were not able to go to the Canadian side (thanks Covid), this was a wonderful alternative and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

My husband and I went on a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls this weekend and Red Coach Inn was one of the only places that had a room available. We absolutely loved it! As soon as we walked in the room they had classical music playing. We had a jetted bathtub in our room, complimentary sparking wine and water in our fridge, the most delicious chocolates, and free breakfast from their restaurant. As soon as you walk out of the building you can see the Niagara river! It was so beautiful! There was a bike rental right outside and we rode around town and along the river. It was such a fun trip and Red Coach made it so relaxing!

From the minute you arrive you are treated to an exceptional experience. The Trafalgar room that we stayed in is a smaller room but elegantly appointed and has a drive up outside entrance. We were greeted with bottles of cold water already in the fridge in our room and a delicious cheese/fruit/cracker tray. What a welcome after a long drive. The Staff are all very accommodating and friendly. The al a carte breakfast is terrific and is included in your room price. We enjoyed a wonderful evening meal in their cozy dining room that offered a first class, delicious menu . The hotel is a short walk to the Falls and Goat Island also the casino. We would certainly return to The Red Coach Inn.

This was such an enjoyable stay. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. After travelling around the US for almost 3 months and the grumpy unhelpful service we have been given, this place stands out above all others. There was a bottle of water and sparkling wine in the fridge, a chocolate each and classical music playing on the stereo. We were able to choose a breakfast from their restaurant menu and had it in takeaway form in our room. Creme brûlée French toast and eggs Benedict with real ham and authentic hollandaise!
The room itself had everything we required and had its own personality. Not just another motel room.
Niagara Falls itself was just a short walk across the road. This meant we felt safe going to see the light show later at night.
Parking was easy and free so all good in that department.
Originally we were staying only 1 night due to the Covid shutdown but we increased it by another night. If we had more time we definitely would have stayed longer. Thank you guys for such a memorable stay.

Located just steps from stunning views of Niagara Falls, the historic Red Coach Inn offers a cozy respite from sight-seeing. Each guest room has its own name and unique decore. The centerpiece of my room was a cozy bed stacked with comfortable decorative pillows. There was also a small kitchenette with coffeemaker, microwave oven and a cute counter with barstools for munching. The very nice bathroom featured a tub with little waterjets to gently massage a bather. My stay included a hearty breakfast, served in the rustic dining room. The staff was friendly and very helpful; the receptionist (posted in the charming lobby) assisted me with directions to my next tourist stop. Free parking is conveniently located behind the inn. (please see photos)

Beautiful old Historic Inn with charming quaint rooms or 1 & 2 bedroom suites. My husband & I wanted to get away for a long weekend so reserved The Adeline which was a 1 bedroom suite and absolutely resembled the picture on their website. As we entered The Suite they had beautiful soft music playing on the Bose Radio that was there. With our accommodations were complimentary breakfasts everyday. We arrived at 12:30 & check in was at 3:00 so we decided to have lunch at the bar and by the time we finished our room was ready
( 1:15 early ) Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner were delicious, however reservations for dinner were highly recommended. We decided to extend our stay an extra day and spoke with Heidi at the front desk, she took care of our request immediately. I must say everyone is pleasant and will go out of their way to make your stay the perfect get away. We would definitely recommend & also stay at this beautiful Inn again.

We were plesantly surprised with all of the accomodations, during our visit. The Inn is welcoming, as well as the staff, and the location was perfect. Our room had it's own entry off of the parking lot, which gave us great privacy. We chose a room with a separate kitchen area (Essex) and it was simply lovely. Everything was clean and fresh. Everything listed in the online description is on point. Due to Covid-19 no one was allowed to enter our room besides us, but we were provided with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant is attached to the Inn and provides a complimentary breakfast, which is the best we have ever been provided that came included with the fee. Lunch and dinner were also provided but at a cost. The meals were all delicious. The only thing I would suggest is that the rooms are equipped with a full length mirror. There is only a bathroom mirror which didn't provide adequate access. Other than the mirror we found no faults. We will definitley recommend the Inn and happily spend more time there if we are ever back in Niagara!
