Stayed one night. Room was nice and large. There were nice amenities in the lobby and assorted snacks for purchase. There was a continental breakfast that was nicely stocked and clean. Our shower water didn't get that hot, but maybe it was because of the morning activity elsewhere. Beds were comfy and pillows were good also. It was quiet at night and we didn't hear many shuting doors, but that could change on the weekend. Overall a nice location with easy highway access. Would stay again.

Very nice front desk staff. Fire alarm went off from steam from a shower.....so had to evacuate. Keep the bathroom door closed so steam does not escape, fire alarms going off are a regular thing apparently. Room was nice. Location perfect for morning drive to Poughkeepsie to take train to NYC. Price was great! Lots of fast food right next door and a grocery store as well.

I was there for one night with my family. We got a room on the third floor, and it was quiet and clean. We really enjoyed the complementary breakfast. We loved automated pancake machine, which was a huge plus! Short walk to Dunkin’ Donut, ShopRite, Rite Aid and so on.

We started with very nice front desk personnel.
Upon getting settled in our room, we found that the floor in the bathroom was VERY, VERY sticky. My shoes stuck to the floor - and there were other people's footprints left from who knows when.
The woman at the desk suggested that too much cleaning solution was used, but that seems odd. It was more like the floor was coated with flypaper.
We had to change rooms. No sticky floor in room #2, but the carpet is stained. The exhaust fans in both bathrooms were unbelievably loud. Both need to be replaced.
There were wrappers on the hallway floor. To be fair, that could have happened after housekeeping went through.
The elevator looks beat up too. Stained walls and door.
I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels and generally liked them, but the whole appearance of this facility is just sub par.
Management needs to step in and take charge of cleaning and maintenance.

I am a diamond elite member who had a reservation here today. I checked in and went to use bathroom and there was hair in numerous places in bathroom including the floor and shower. I went back to front desk and was told by manager it could just be hair from maid hair. However hair in shower was too small to be from the head of a person
They then put me in another room and again there was hair this time behind the bathroom door.
At this point I decided to just leave the hotel and find another place to stay for the evening.
If you do stay here be sure to check the room well before staying here.

After a HORRIBLE experience at this hotel for my wedding guests. I wrote a negative review. I then receive a phone call from the hotel general Manager who says SHES upset with my review...does not apologize for the frustrations i faced or admit fault whatsoever. When i told her i was upset and did not want to discuss anything further as my review was 100% accurate she threatened to repost an email to the review that had absolutely nothing to do with the issues i faced. I began to scream which is very unlike me which just proves to me how out of line, unprofessional and truly ridiculous the entire hotel is if this is their general manager. needless to say i am now on the phone with headquarters and am absolutely livid with how i have been treated. I have worked in customer service a very long time and would never have treated an unhappy customer this way.

2nd stay, stayed pre-pandemic and this stay was disappointing. Gave me a room on the 1st floor, (should have spoke up), toilet was missing a toilet lid and the one TV which was 32", had 4 white lights in a square box appearing on the screen on every channel and the TV should have been replaced. They also only give you 2 coffees and zero teas for the Keurig. Like most IHG properties no pens or pads to be found. The breakfast hostess was the best thing about this property. Will not stay again.

Property located close to highway Route 84. Was a little hard to find the entrance as their sign is quite a bit from the road. Plenty of parking. DD and MCD within a short walk. Walgreens across street.
Check in was easy. 3 floors. Looked like pool was closed maybe due to covid? Indoor pool. Breakfast was good. Room was quiet and comfortable. Internet fast and many TV channels were available.

My husbands family and I were touring our place of worship in the area we stumbled upon this hidden 'gem'when we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised at how clean and stately beautiful this hotel was !
It's located next to Dunkin' Donuts across the street from McDonald's so getting something quick to eat is easy ! however we did not need to eat at outside eateries they always have a coffee ready in the lobby the lobby is immaculately beautiful the rooms are huge and very nice the hotel looks like it was built last week and very well-kept! I just had to ask the young lady at the desk how long the hotel was in existence ..she told me it was built three years ago ..They have worked very hard at keeping it nice we had a very comfortable stay it offers a very good breakfast ..nice staff ..Great location .. how about 20 minutes drive from Newburgh city center clean hotel that looks like it was just built! what more could you ask for! Thumbs up to THIS holiday inn Express ..you make me proud to be an IHG member!
