The room was comfortable enough for us to sleep well. The shower had plenty of hot water and the AC worked well and kept the room cool. This property is old and its age can be seen in general wear-n-tear around the place. Staff was friendly and best of all, the price was about half of the nearest competitors

Check in was fine and we went right to the room to bed because we had a long morning ahead of us. When we got up the next morning I notice how the dirty the floor was, which means it was not vacuum. So i took my kids to breakfast and then planned to talk to the front desk. So we went back to the room so my three year old could use the bathroom. That is when i notice water and hair in the tub. Then my 6 year old son called me to the bed he was sleeping and said dad someone else hair was the bed he slept on. That is when I went downstairs with my kids to talk to the front desk person to see if I can get a refund I was told I could not get refund for the first night but for the second night which was really unfair and I could not afford to go somewhere else at. So the front started to talk to the maid about the room and the maid said at least I made the bed. I was like but you made a bed with another person hair on it. what about the rest of my complaints and I have pictures and video of the room. I have stayed here several times and never had this problem. This stay could of made me lose my visit with my kids if y son would of told his mother. I know its not a five star hotel and good help is hard to find and I explained that to the front desk person. They was able to get me another room and got three maids to help clean the room. The room was better but I did notice a piece of hair in the bathroom that was on the wall by the tub. So I took a baby wipe and cleaned and left it alone because I was already stress out from the other room. I felt like I should of been better compensated for this issues. I know writing this will not solve anything but i wanted you to know what happened on my stay. I never had an issues with this hotel before like.

The price is OK. The rooms are clean, but the amenities have seen better days. For one, the non-smoking room I was in reeked of cigarettes-like someone was smoking in the bathroom with the fan on. The shower area was moldy. The floors are aged as well. The place is in bad need of renovation and updating. On the bright side, the breakfast area was clean and featured a hot meal. Its OK for a night, but I would not get comfortable here.

I give this place the highest recommendation of any motel out there today. Truck-friendly property, ample parking for tractor trailers. Clean and comfortable rooms, and the absolute best breakfast you'll find in any motel. Mainly because it is cooked physically by someone, not just microwaved and thrown into a warmer pan. Bacon and sausages were fried not nuked. That's huge to me anyway. I've stayed in many a 4 star motel and hotel that only served microwaved food...this Super 8 in Maybrook, NY goes above and beyond with a great breakfast experience.

I booked two rooms a month ahead of time and was told they’d be next to each other, couldn’t be further apart. Booked two nonsmoking rooms. Our rooms smelled like smoke. Cold showers, rooms were dirty, and check out was at 11 and house keeping rudely pounds on the door at 7:15.

Me and the family was on a road trip and we decided to spend the night at the Super 8 in Montgomery, NY, we needed room with 2 beds. We were very surprised with the walk in rate at $177.00 plus tax with total charge of $200.03 for one night for 3 people with no pet, since it was late we decided to give it a try.
The room was awful, the bathroom door would not close, the toilet was Shakey and the carpet was very filthy, the only positive aspect of this stay that was okay it was the beds, the mattress was fair and the sheets ,pillows were nice and clean, but the overall value and experience was sucks!! Now I learned a valuable lesson is to never again to make a walk in reservation or got to a Super 8 Motel ever again !!

I was in town for a funeral and had planned to stay here for 2 nights but the place was so bad I checked out after the first night. The woman at the desk when I checked in was very nice, but the place is very run down and sketchy. My room seemed clean enough and the bed was comfortable, but hallway carpets are stained and torn, people were smoking outside the front door and it smelled like weed in the interior hallway. The road noise was terrible and there are semi trucks pulling in and out all night long. The safe in my room didn't lock. The shower just about scalded me half way through, then water went cold.

staff was great. not enough plugs in the room for family devices. right next to the interstate. My father need us to come up to help him out with somethings and we were about a 1/2 hour drive from him but for the money and place to stay it worked out good.

If you're thinking of booking this motel because it is associated with the Wyndham name, as we did, forget it! It's a dump in an industrial area of pits, gravel, and trailer trucks. Dirty carpets in the room that make you want to keep your shoes on. A chair at the desk with so many stains on it I wouldn't sit in it. Bathroom was probably 40 years old and neither of us would shower in it. We couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning and go home!

What a joke. Stairs creaked, musty smell. Thought I’d fall through the tub because even that creaked. We only stood there because we paid in advance and it was non refundable. Wyndham dropped the ball on this one. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
