My husband and I were in town for a family funeral. Our Cousin found this hotel for us to stay at. What a Gem! The hotel was so clean, it smelled clean, there is terrific lighting in the parking lot, plenty of parking available. From the time we pulled up til the time we left I was so impressed with this hotel. We had to make changes to our reservations twice and the staff was so very accommodating--Thank You Ladies. The lobby was clean, lots of room and plenty of seating. It didn't even feel like the elevator was moving. Our room was just the right size, the beds comfortable with plenty of pillows, large counter space in the bathroom, adequate water pressure for the shower. We would highly recommend this hotel!!!

A great stay. If I could give this hotel six stars I would. Less than a year old. It just sparkles everywhere. From the lobby to the nice sized indoor pool and hot tub to the gym to the very large hot breakfast area. Room has a good size bathroom with a real shower in lieu of the old style tub-shower. Nice. We stayed only one night but wish we could have stayed here for our whole trip. Breakfast was egg omelets and really nice sausage, hard boiled eggs, cereal, make your own pancakes and waffles, biscuits (no gravy), bagels, bread, fruit, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The facilities are new, clean and well maintained. The staff at the front desk are all phenomenal and always willing to help. The location is on the same lot as KeyBank, Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wing, and so close to other shops/ restaurants/ thruway. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning units you can get to whatever temperature you like. I liked everything and have stayed here multiple times. Just be aware - you need to request housekeeping when you need/want it.

I picked this hotel due to the amenities of the hot tub and pool. The hot tub was closed due to chemical imbalances per a sign hanging up. I was not aware of that at the time of booking. It was not noted on the booking site. The pool was open. My husband and I went to use the pool first thing when it opened at 9am. We jumped into the pool and the smell and taste of the water was atrocious. We did not notice the smell when we walked into the area itself but it was very noticeable when we were physically in the water. The water smelled like pure body odor. It was disgusting and we both had to get out right away as it was unbearable. I notified the front desk staff about the issue and she half-heartedly apologized. I expressed how disappointed I was because I specifically chose this hotel over others in the area for these amenities and they were not usable. Unfair to pay full price when the listed amenities were not available. I asked to speak to management and the manager was outright rude and told me she just went in the pool and everything was fine. I told her that you don't notice the issue unless you are physically in the water and she insisted the pool was fine which I find hard to believe since their hot tub had a sign saying closed due to chemical imbalances. I said maybe it was missing chlorine or some imbalance like the hot tub but it definitely smelled like body odor and sweat. She was quick to correct me and say it's a salt water pool - no chlorine. But even a salt water pool shouldn't smell like that? She offered no apologies. I was becoming frustrated and decided to juat leave at this point and as I was walking out she said she could bring me over there and "show me". Show me what? Get in the pool and smell for yourself. I was very upset because I felt like she was lying to me saying it tested fine. Both my husband and myself had the same reaction as we came out of the water and noticed the same thing right away. We had to run upstairs and shower immediately because it was so disgusting. The rest of our stay was fine. The room was fine. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. Sad because this hotel looks brand new. Not worth the price though.

I appreciate your comments and concerns about the pool during your stay. I was not on duty at the time you visited the property but was kept informed of the concerns you expressed. We have a salt water pool, which is the only explanation I can offer for why the water did not feel as you expected it to. I assure you that the chemicals were in balance and the odor you noticed is typical of a salt water pool. I certainly don't like that you left the hotel feeling as you did - but unfortunately a better explanation could not be offered to satisfy your concerns. I'm genuinely sorry that you didn't enjoy your time here.

We stayed here just as stopovers on the first and last nights of a two-week road trip from Maryland to Maine. The property is in excellent condition and the rooms are spacious. The staff was very friendly, responsive and courteous. The breakfast is just the usual chain hotel fare, very carb heavy (cereal, muffins, bagels, waffles, toast), though within that category I suppose the fresh DIY waffles are a nice touch. The Starbucks next door is great if you want/need a shot of good coffee.
The beds were very comfy and the showers were clean with good water pressure and sufficient hot water.
The location is convenient to highways and a short drive from Middletown's small downtown. Highly recommend the brew pub Tapped in downtown Middletown - great food and beers.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Despite my poor rating, this is a very nice, new hotel. The staff were all very nice as well. The hotel was very understaffed and the one poor woman working the front desk was spread thin the night we arrived, but was still able to handle check ins and keep the lobby (which was being used as a gathering/dining space by a huge family with tons of kids) neat and tidy. My complaint is the pillows, or lack thereof. They had nothing but feather pillows. We are allergic to feathers. We asked for a hypoallergenic option and were told that was the only pillow they had, but that those pillows were specially treated to make the down hypoallergenic. Hmmm. The tag on the pillow said nothing about that. And in all my years of traveling around the world and staying in hotels, as well as buying pillows for my own home (I’m not young so I’ve spent a night or two on a pillow) I have never heard of a special treatment that removes the allergens of a feather for those allergic to feathers. Since feathers trigger migraines for me, it wasn’t worth trusting that this cutting edge technology was being introduced in a La Quinta in a small town in New York, so we went down the street to Walmart and bought some pillows. Not a huge deal. But I do expect that suitable pillows will be provided when I rent a hotel room for the night. If you have allergies triggered by down, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Otherwise the hotel is very nice.

Lovely very clean, updated pleasant hotel; front desk guest services were very nice and accommodating. Downside, hotel is not cheap, and one would have presumed that breakfast could have been a lot more palatable for that nightly cost. We stayed 2 nights, same, dull, biscuits and gravy, package scrambled eggs, dry cereal and waffles with only the basic trimmings, watery juices, so disappointing. The pool room looked nice, however the air was so heavy with the smell of Chlorine, that we weren't able to walk into the room, let alone enjoy the pool itself, so unfortunate.

This hotel was recently modernized as others have mentioned. Nice and clean, with plenty of space in rooms. It is within walking distance to a number of restaurants and a nearby store. The main purpose of our trip was to visit Legoland and this location served as an ideal base for that - only 8 miles away. We only had one minor downside at the time, which was that the pool wasn't heated, so the temperature of the pool water for kids was super cold. It would have been useful if they informed us of that beforehand, however it is only a temporary issue.

This is a new hotel located right off of busy route 211. The hotel is very clean in both the rooms and the public areas. The staff are very professional, courteous and helpful. Check in and out are quick and hassle free. Our king room had a very comfortable bed, a sofa and 2 flat screen televisions, as well as a microwave and mini fridge. Overall the room was great, however, only 2 hangers in the closet, no cups by the coffee maker, no bag for laundry, a pad but no pen and the air conditioner was noisy thru the night. Also, the free continental breakfast was as sparse as I have ever seen at a La Quinta, with minimal options. This is a fine hotel and with a few minor improvements could become outstanding, Again, super clean!

The hotel is new, which is a big plus. The rooms are pretty comfortable and spacious. The breakfast can be considered basic, but "good basic", offering bagels, waffles (batter provided, you make your own - good stuff), milk, coffee, oatmeal, good selection of jams, etc. There is also coffee and tea offered at all times in the lobby. The swimming pool is small, but there is one and the kids loved it. The hotel is located close to several restaurants and supermarkets, which is convenient, and it is only a 10-15 min drive to Legoland. Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant, and what I think made it even more special was the who I believe was the manager (receptionist?). She was very professional, amenable and welcoming.
