We chose this Hotel because we needed a pet friendly/pets welcome place for one night. This Marriott had the least expensive room (gov rate) closest to the highway. I checked in alone, and used the side door and stairs for my dog. There was no mention on the Marriott website about an upcharge for having a pet at this location. We are new to traveling with a pet, so in all honesty I don’t know if there’s a difference between being “pet friendly” and “pets welcome”. This location states “pets welcome”. Since we are traveling on a budget, and there aren’t any reviews on here mentioning pets, I opted for the “don’t ask, don’t tell” and “it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission” policies. We had a great night’s sleep, the blackout curtains are just that - in fact we all slept so well we woke up an hour before checkout! Oops! My complaints are very minor - the shower head in our room was not up to par with what I’ve experienced at other Courtyards, and the outlets over the nightstands really need to be updated to USB ports. The bar had a lively bunch for a Saturday night and the front desk checkin/out staff were very kind and pleasant. This is a great Marriott location, we were very happy with our overnight.....and so was our dog.

In regards to the lack of USB ports, we are in the process of adding alarm clocks to our guestrooms with USB Ports. While we are pet friendly, we do charge a fee for guest traveling. We do also want to know a guest is traveling with a pet prior to checking in, as we have specific rooms for pets, and different measures of cleaning these guestrooms to ensure that a guest that stays in the room after you is not affected as we do have guests and employees that have severe pet allergies and if we are not aware of a pet in the room, it can cause severe discomfort to a guest or staff member occupying or working in that room following your departure. Was a little concerned before arriving here due to the series of past negative reviews, however, our experience could not be faulted.
The hotel is centrally located just off the freeway and has a couple of places to eat locally.
Checkin was faultless, our room was perfect located at the rear of the building so no noise. The room was large and well appointed with king bed and sofa. The room was spotless with all furnishings in good order. The bed provided a great sleep.
The bathroom was also large with an over bath shower. With enough towels and essentials. The bathroom was again spotless. And showed no sign of deterioration.
Overall, this was a great two night stay.

I frequent the Marriott family of hotels for work but generally avoid Courtyard because they do not have breakfast and when traveling for work breakfast is not an expense item. I booked here bc I was with family and it is close to LEGOLAND.
As a whole, it would’ve been fine had I been traveling for work. If with family, definitely go elsewhere.
The fist desk person I dealt with had quite an attitude and the interactions below were all with the same person.
Upon booking, I booked a King w/ sofa bed room as it sleeps four and should accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids with a variety of sleeping options (one toddler). The room is equipped with a king bed and a twin size sofa bed (didn’t know this existed). Hotel refused to switch us to a 2Q room because of our rate. Room was actually incapable of sleeping 4. Said sofa bed was awful to sleep on too!
Shortly after arriving, I inquired if they had any pizza menus. I was told in a huff no and that there’s a menu in there cafe. I was offered a list of local places but it wasn’t actually available when I accepted. Note that I found a row of menus 20’ away even though they didn’t exist.
After dinner I noticed that we only had two towels. I went back to said desk person to ask for towels and proceeded to wait for her to finish whatever she was doing on her phone to get them.
Technology…Wi-Fi awful. TVs not connected.
It’s also the only indoor pool I’ve ever seen that isn’t heated. Water was absolutely frigid.

Booked this hotel because I am very familiar, Platinum status, with the Marriott Courtyard brand and this one is one of the worst I have seen. I booked 2 rooms since I have 2 small children and my wife with me for a trip around New York State. When we checked in we were told we might not be able to accommodate adjoining rooms. This is a problem with all Marriott properties not being able to reserve adjoining rooms. The front desk person was able to find 2 adjoining rooms, a king & 2 queens. We get to the rooms and upon walking into the king room there is an overwhelming smell of cleaner like they are trying to mask some odor. My wife goes to use the toilet and she soon finds out that the toilet does not flush. We called down to the front desk and were told there is no one around to fix it and that if we wanted to change rooms we would have to take separate rooms. The shower curtain has what appears to be blood stains on it and the door to the cabinet hiding the refrigerator will not stay shut, I’ve ran into it 3 times already. Lastly I know that it is trivial but I tried to connect to the internet and was told “ yeah we’ve been having problems with that, sorry.”
Listen I understand that this is not the Waldorf, but these are simple things that can be easily fixed to make for a better stay.

You can connect enhanced internet for a $6.95 fee or free with gold elite status or higher. I chose this and my speeds were less than 2MBPS. My phone is faster than their “enhanced internet” so no work got done, when I attempted to chat with the front desk about this I didn’t get a single reply. Never staying here again.

We stayed over a three-day weekend for a wedding. The staff and courteous, the rooms clean and smelled nice - no musty or moldy smells nor the solvents often used to cover them up. The mattress, pillows, and linens were a great way to start and end our stay. Close to shopping, a casino, and other local resorts. My ONLY disappointment was from the tiny pool (4' at the deep end) the size of a large hot tub. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio and gas fire pit and convenient bar, coffee shop and nearby restaurants. We'll be back!

A wonderful mid-range alternative to hotels near the Woodbury Common Outlets if you don't mind driving 15 minutes. Pristine property with spacious and well-appointed rooms. Fabulous bed and easy to operate shower. Only real disappointment is that there was no in-room safe, which is a convenience I've come to expect at similar properties (including other Courtyards).

I enjoyed my stay at this location. The staff was friendly and responded to the Marriott Chat in a timely manner. The location was well maintained and the common areas were clean. My only issue was the amount of dust in the room and that the shower curtain had brown spots on them. However, the staff corrected those as soon as they were brought to their attention. I would stay at this location again!

Recently stayed there upon knowing the area and trusting the Marriott name. Drove three hours for a function to this hotel to find out two weddings also booked nearby. One person at the desk to check in people. After a long trip, waited 25 minutes on a long line listening to other disgruntled guests. I, having said nothing, went to a nice clean room. At 1:00 in the morning, i was awakened by my bed"vibrating", then a quiet sound, then repeated with noises from the air conditioning unit.Called front desk, told only one person at desk ad party from wedding returned to the bar. She would be up in a few minutes. Waited till 2-no one showed. No offer to change rooms when asked told -no other available. Too late to change hotels.Had 2.5 hours of sleep Complained upon checkout and was told understaffed....No manager seemed to be available.Marriott never got back to me upon their review, and I'm having difficulty with contacting company. Still had to pay for room on Bonvoy card because I hadn't changed hotels. Really? Middle of the night I was not about to drive around this small area with other weddings and parties going on. Unfortunately, I will never stay at that courtyard again......
