Detailed Reviews
In the Saratoga area for a family reunion in May, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bass Manor. The house is unique and in itself became part of our vacation experience. Set back in the pines, it's not unusual to spot wild turkeys wandering in the clearing in the morning and hear the hooting of owls in the evening. This combined with its proximity to fine restaurants, cultural venues, historic sites and lively, historic Saratoga Springs makes it a great place to stay. Our room was spacious and airy and clean. The entire house, from the Modern Art to the fine antiques, is a jewel. Everywhere you look you see Cassandra's creative spirit and attention to detail. Her warm hospitality, knowledge of the area and helpful tips completed our lovely stay. We will surely be back.

My wife and I recently spent several days at Bass Manor. The owner, Cassandra, is a delightful and knowledgable hostess who was very helpful during our stay. The accommodations are spacious, clean and comfortable. There are original modern art pieces throughout, including the bedrooms. The grounds are spacious and quiet. My wife enjoyed her morning yoga routine on the outside deck.
The breakfast is simple but adequate with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, yogurts, english muffins and other items. SPAC, the track and downtown are minutes away and well worth the visit. The Saratoga battlefield national park is about 15 minutes away. The tour there was excellent, with an extremely knowledgable and entertaining tour guide.

My boyfriend took me here last weekend for a surprise mini trip. Cassandra is so nice and is very helpful. Take a view of the stars outside at night. It's amazing especially since we don't get to see as many stars where we are from because the glare of the NYC lights over the suburbs on long island.

Beautiful house in a grove of pines. Very nice suites with antique furnishings - great food, carefully selected artwork, nearby to the best of Saratoga. Peaceful and relaxing - no pool, but lakes nearby.

My husband found this B&B when we decided to visit Saratoga Springs for concerts at SPAC. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the entire facility, but more so we connected so well with the owner. Cassandra is a "gem" and we are so happy to have met her and stayed at her lovely home. She is very knowledgeable about the area, recommended some local shops, and was completely prepared for us with a variety of breakfast selections. We have already recommended this location to several friends, and will stay here again - can't wait to return!

We were looking for a B&B near Saratoga Springs. Given the season (horsing racing, performing arts center, etc.), it can be tough to find a reasonably priced, quality place to stay near Saratoga Springs. The Bass Manor was perfect for us. It was clean and spacious, and only about 12 minutes from downtown. This made SPAC and the race course very convenient destinations. Cassandra, the owner, was great and very accommodating.

Relax, unwind, and escape were our plans for a weekend getaway in Saratoga late this spring. The clean, crisp, Saratoga-infused décor and professional artwork of the Bass Manor lured us, while the swaying pines lulled us to sleep from our second story suite. The nearby Roosevelt Baths and paths of the Saratoga State Park rejuvenated our minds and souls. It was comforting and worry-free returning to the Bass Manor B&B each evening. We definitely found what we were looking for in Saratoga. We'll surely return this summer, Cassandra!

I went in the winter and the grounds were covered in snow. The room had 3 walls of windows overlooking the grounds. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed. Cassandra was very gracious and let me park in her garage because it was going to snow that night and I went to Saratoga early the next morning. It was so close to everything, restaurants down the corner but the property was a large estate. The room was big with original artwork and comfortable furnishings.

I have stayed at this spectacular bed and breakfast on several occasions and cannot wait to return. Each room is spacious with every comfort and amenity imaginable. The house is filled with lovely antiques, superb original art. and is surrounded by lush grounds. Cassandra, the owner and host, is gracious, knowledgeable about the area, a great cook and loads of fun. It is a perfect weekend getaway to relax and unwind. Vicki
