Detailed Reviews
It isn’t the high-adventure Adirondack experience; but that shouldn’t stop you from staying here. The lobby’s the only part of the hotel that looks like a big log cabin or ski lodge. The rest of The Edge Hotel looks like any chain hotel (even though it’s not). But they do all the fundamentals well enough: the rooms are clean, the mattress is comfortable, the staff is pleasant and helpful, the coffee’s great, and the price is right. If you are coming in wintertime, you’ll find snowmobiling trails, a short ski trail, and a nice restaurant (Boondocks) right around the parking lot. Not quite a full-on winter resort, but definitely a nice stay for a weekend.
Special kudos, by the way, to their snow removal service, who came in the morning after the big snowstorm and seemed to get the entire parking lot cleared in like, one hour. How did they do it that fast.
A modest hotel that gives a moderately-good experience; nothing wrong with that.

Stayed for two nights to go snowmobiling in the area. Was not sure what to expect when we arrived, but we were very happy with our accommodations. Rooms were very nice and clean, my wife and I own a hotel, so there are certain things I look at that most people don't, one being the piping to the toilet. It shined like it was brand new, so those housekeepers are really doing a great job. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful, We will be back.

The hotel is very well decorated with a woodsy theme, some buck mounts over the fireplace and all, good wifi and all that, my only complaint is that the bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Other than that is was nice. The boondocks across the driveway is amazing with a nice creek going through the dining room with a tree at the center, even if you don't stay at this hotel, you've gotta check out the restaurant!

Very friendly service. Very clean. A welcoming lobby with a fireplace with local decorative art. The Boondocks restaurant is just a short walk up the driveway. There is plenty of parking, even when the snowmobile trailers are there. I will be staying again in the near future.

We stayed at the Edge Hotel in New York City 5 days because our son was in the hospital. Stefan at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. All the staff were courteous and friendly. Every place I went in the hotel was clean and inviting. I would recommend anyone having to stay in New York City stay here.

I am staying two nights. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Very friendly accommodating staff. They own the Boondocks restaurant up the driveway. I ordered food to pick up, which was very good. Free breakfast was very good. 6 -10 am. Check out 11am .I highly recommend thus Hotel. I usually stay at a Marriott, I would put this stay on that level.

Spent a beautiful weekend at The Edge with our puppy in their one pet friendly room. As always the hotel was spotless despite it now being legal on the Lewis County ATV trail system - THANK YOU! So convenient to unload the wheelers and not need a vehicle again until leaving to go home.
The staff is very nice both in the hotel and out front at Boondocks. They truly have the complete package at this hotel. We just need to plan further ahead to get that specific room. Well worth the wait though!

We needed a hotel near my daughter's camp, and we decided to try the Edge. It's the perfect Adirondack hotel: rustic but completely modern inside with very clean rooms and fantastic staff. We really liked the beds.
The restaurant next door is open until 10 but the bar is open until midnight, and they will bring food to your room. Check in and check out were a breeze, everyone is very friendly and accommodating, and I would recommend it highly.

This is the perfect place for a couples getaway. We've been here over the years and have never been disappointed. We always get the Jacuzzi suite weekend package, it includes wine, cheese platter, chocolate, and dinner. The room is clean and spacious, the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

We visited the Boonville area to watch some College League Summer games and we stayed at The Edge because of their sponsorship of the local team. The Hotel was wonderful, as clean as you could ask for, friendly, and exactly what this area should provide to visitors. Should we visit the area again, The Edge will be our lodging choice!

I stayed at the Edge Hotel in Lyons Falls, NY. Not the Waters Edge in Old Forge, NY
Hello, and thank you for choosing The Edge. Unfortunately there are no trails near the hotel for ATV season. You would have to go the the desired trail's head and go from there.
Yes. But they only have 1 room that is dog friendly so I would call and make sure it's available for you when you get there.
Yes you can if there is availability in the one dog friendly room. It can be tough to get but so worth it. Very clean hotel with a great staff!
We are about 45 minutes away from water safari. If you have any other questions you can call us 1-866-348-4211. We look forward to hearing from you.
