Additional payment of $50 can check in in advance, can not delay check out too long. The desk staff is a friendly service, 06:00-9:00 there is free breakfast, room layout is also a pleasure, there are dishes, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, TV, air-cooling heating, really fully equipped. Room cleaning is clean, unfortunately this towel is a little dirty, found that there is an abnormal hair, and there is another one that can be used, hopefully the household will pay more attention. In addition, baggage is not free! There is an extra charge of $10 per baggage! Beware! The metro station is very close and convenient. The overall experience is good. You may consider staying again later.

I have stayed at this hotel brand in other cities so I booked again. I was not disappointed at all at the hotel in Queens. The location of the hotel is close to the metro or as soon as you get off the subway, you can see the hotel. There aren't a lot of restaurants and it is a residential neighborhood, so you have to do research on where you want to eat around the neighborhood. Lots of stores for tires and car repair shops around the hotel, but overall, I felt super safe and I got what I needed when I went outside.

First the positive: It is a good option for families in New York at a reasonable price. We are a family of 4 with two teenagers and we stayed 5 nights in a 1 King Bed 1 Bedroom Suite. The room is very large, it is actually an apartment, and both the bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. And it has a mini kitchen with a microwave and dishes that comes in handy for lunches and dinners since the room has a dining table and chairs. The hotel has a laundry and dryers and in just over an hour you can do your laundry. Regarding the location, it has a stop 100 m away. (39 Av-Dutch Kills) through which the N and W lines pass that leave you at 5th Avenue in 10' and two other stops (Queens Plaza and Queensborogh) about 10' walking distance. Regarding the area, it seems that it is in full transformation. There are streets with very elegant new buildings with a doorman and around the corner quite seedy areas. We did not have a feeling of danger, but it does not invite us to get to know the area either. Now for the negative: First, the breakfast. As others have pointed out, it is quite limited and repetitive, but in the end everyone at home repeats the breakfasts. The worst thing is the limited space for breakfast and if you come down late there are long queues. I recommend getting up early. But the worst of all has been the cold we experienced due to the air conditioning. It makes no sense that the temperature is 28º C on the street and the hotel staff wears a fleece jacket buttoned up to their necks. It was very cold in the dining room and hallways and you had to dress warmly to go down to breakfast. The gym and laundry room that were always empty were a refrigerator. And all that cold seeped into the room so we had to use all the blankets available in the room in the middle of August. A lot of blah blah blah on Hilton's website about environmental impact and then the air conditioning at full blast... In short, it is a very good option for sightseeing in NY because you will not find anything with that size of room and at that price in Manhattan. But they should take care of these details with the breakfast and temperature that make the experience not entirely satisfactory.

Excellent solution for visiting New York, 100m from the subway station which takes you to the center in 10 minutes. The rooms are large and have a kitchen equipped with a normal-sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and also complete with crockery: we didn't use it because we were always out visiting the city but if you organize yourself it could be a solution to avoid always going out to the restaurant. Thorough cleaning of the room, fortunately without carpet, the only flaw was that the temperatures in the structure were very low and to survive we always stayed with the air conditioning in the room OFF. The room does not have European sockets and adapters must be provided. Spectacular view from the room window. Breakfast situation to be reviewed, both in terms of times (only until 9am during the week and 10am on weekends) definitely not compatible with a holiday, and in quality and variety. Since the hours are very compressed, there is a large amount of customers at the same time and the space is limited, so it creates a lot of confusion and crowds. The area initially seems dangerous but as said by the reception, it was quiet and free of dangers.

I must start by saying that Chris and Francis are one of the assets of this property. They will make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door and are there to answers all of your questions and tend to your every need throughout your stay. The property itself is located just one block from the 39th Ave - Dutch Kills subway station with an amazing parking garage just around the corner so getting around the city from this point is incredibly easy and fast. We felt safe walking around the area during the day or night. The rooms are huge, likely a great deal larger than a lot of condos in NYC. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and kitchen sink as well as fully stocked cupboards with dishes and cutlery. Large bathroom with a nice shower, pull out couch, 2 queen beds and lots and lots of storage. There is no safe in the room but a lock box is provided at the from desk at now extra charge that only has 1 key that you keep throughout your stay. The included continental breakfast was no prize winner but it was what it advertises. A quick bite and great coffee that you can enjoy in the dining area, in your room or one of two open patios which is where I sat each morning enjoying thresh air while planning each day. Overall it was a great stay! Out of literally thousands of choices for places to stay in NYC we will return here without question. We were on vacation with our 2 teen aged daughters and the abundant space in the room was a game changer.
I just have to give a shout out to Icon Parking just around the corner and will write a separate review on them...
Thanks again Chris and Francis. We will be back, and maybe bring you some Canadian Maple Syrup. Cheers, Bill & Amanda

Considering that NYC hotel prices are very expensive, I was valuing many aspects before choosing a place to stay for our family trip with a teenager. I was not mistaken, this is a very good option to visit the city, and has everything for a good rest after kicking everything NYC offers. Room: very spacious, very comfortable beds, kitchen with microwave and dishwasher (we didn't use it any day finally), beautiful views of Manhattan (our room on the 8th floor). Both the bed and the sofa bed very comfortable too. Bathroom: spacious and very functional, good shower, very clean. Quiet. Staff: at reception they speak Spanish more or less fluently, and the people who take care of breakfast too. Very attentive and friendly, always ready to attend to the needs. Breakfast: Varied, with healthy options, good coffee and juices. We loved the waffles and the red fruits. Something less palatable than mini burgers. We didn’t meet crowded on any given day, and more than met the goal of having a good breakfast before a long and intense day. Location: one of the stops on line N and W is just a few meters from the hotel. There are 2 other stops on different lines within a 10-minute walk. One of them, Queens Plaza is the E line that goes to Jamaica to connect with the airtrain to JFK. It takes less than an hour from JFK airport to the hotel by metro. The neighborhood seems safe, although we did not have time to know the surroundings. Conclusion: expensive hotel but offers good services, and although it is not in Manhattan, it is practically the same because it is very well connected by subway.

Clean, convenient and spacious! One block from the N/W train and less than 10 minutes to Manhattan this location can not be beat. The room was amazing!! Large, comfortable and well equipped, l couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Breakfast was also excellent and actually FREE! I travel to NY several times a month and will definitely stay here again!

I was surprisingly impressed by this hotel. The location is steps away from an MTA subway stop. Our room was very quiet and very large especially by NYC standards. The rooms were equipped with almost everything you would need for a comfortable stay, but for some strange reason they didn’t provide hand lotion or conditioner. Breakfast was what most hotels at this level provide, but it’s always nice to save a little money, especially in NYC. The room was cleaned every day, something most hotels are moving away from. The staff was helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My wife and I found the hotel very clean and staff very pleasant. We liked the in room convenience of the microwave and refrigerator. The fact that room supplied real dinnerware and not paper products was a nice added feature. Also at the complimentary breakfast no paper products, very eco friendly.

Unfortunately, apart from the location, unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. Unfriendly check-in and no explanations whatsoever about where the room was or how the elevator worked. Sometimes you had to wait 20 minutes at the elevator, which was really annoying. Room cleaning was worse than in a youth hostel. On the day of arrival, there was dirty bed linen and mineral water from the previous occupant in the room. The worst thing is that breakfast was overcrowded no matter what time it was. Dirty tables that were not cleared or cleaned. I strongly advise against visiting this hotel. The breakfast room is also in the basement next to the laundry boxes. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. There is also no one who feels responsible for problems here. There was also no reaction or information from management or staff when the fire alarm went off. We had to get the towels from our carts in the hallway ourselves. I think a hotel is OK as a youth hostel, nothing more.
