We stayed here along with 9 other families for our son’s hockey tournament. The property is modern and clean. The pool area is a bit oddly located right across from the elevator & lacks seating with tiny towels. The manager Niki was extremely friendly and really make it fun for the kids, keeping them out of trouble and entertained, the conference rooms open into the lounge area in the lobby which allowed us to keep an eye on the kiddos, while not having to worry that they were causing a ruckus!!
The hardest part of having to be away at a tournament is the lack of nearby activities in the short amount of time between games. So we wind up in the hotel. Because Niki really understood our needs,
the kids never got bored, they didn’t get sucked into their devices & we didn’t wind up with a ton of kids in our bedrooms.
They seriously need another waffle maker... and the lobby area, while very clean, was also rather sterile feeling. Not comfy or cozy in any way.
Loved the fridge and microwave in the room!

Stayed here one night taking our son back to school. They had measures in place in the lobby due to COVID to limit contact and hand sanitizer available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a room on the second floor and the hallway reeked of marijuana. And this was ironically after I had to initial a form acknowledging a $250 fee if you smoke in the hotel. Room itself was fine although a bit worn. Not up to typical La Quinta standards.

This hotel makes it difficult to like. To start with, it's in a challenging location to access, so use Google Maps to get there. Given that almost all the parking is in back behind the hotel (the hotels sits close to the access road) and we had pets with us, we asked for a room near the back of the hotel. They gave us a room in the front. Then at check-out, without a word prior, a $20 pet charge was added to the bill. Apparently La Quinta is no longer the travel option for pet owners since Wyndham took over. I guess it's time to give up on La Quinta.

My 1st time at a La Quinta and I will never return. It’s Ghetto. The 2nd FL hall smelled like weed, the walls are thin you can hear water run from other rooms taking a shower, flushing the toilet, and using sink, you can hear walking above you, tv’s, music from other rooms and people talking. There was a fight outside at 6:00am a woman was screaming at a man named “Billy” threatening to hit him. I tried to call the front desk, but my room phone was disconnected, I never felt so unsafe at a hotel before. The pool and weight room were overrun by unaccompanied children. The floors inside and outside the elevators were always wet. The breakfast had one waffle machine with many people standing and waiting. Cereal with unrefrigerated milk. Burnt coffee. If you came late for coffee it was cold. The front desk woman didn’t ask us about our stay at check out as if they know they must receive plenty of complaints. The worst part was the room itself, it was absolutely disgusting. Stains on ceilings, walls, couch, sheets, towels, and even the TV. The zipper sheet on bottom of box bed was completely covered in stains and weird dark cuz balls. It’s obvious they don’t clean walls, bed, dust, or clean the carpets. Hire new cleaning staff. There was no “Do not disturb sign” female Housekeeping kept knocking. Broken door handle for closet, no vent in bathrooms. You can hear Everything and from everyone. They need security in the parking lot. It was shady at night and unsafe. People smoking in cars and having fights. Potholes in parking lot, unprofessional looking workers. It was a nightmare. Do not pay more than $70 a night here. It’s not worth it. I have 19 photos of evidence but can only post 10, but believe me it’s not worth it.

We were traveling to Warrensburg for some white water rafting but didn't want to pay the outrageous last minute pet friendly hotel rates found in nearby Lake George. Although there were a few other places we could have stayed at that would have been closer we felt that the better and nicer accommodations for two nights were worth the slightly longer drive. And the drive, about an hour's worth, was really was not bad at all. We were able to do our white water rafting, explore Lake George, and still make it back with plenty of time to grab dinner in Latham (we do not recommend the pizza place found on the hotel key card).
Now for the hotel, the check in was fast and easy, the room was nice and clean, the breakfast was hotel standard (nothing to brag about), but our remote did not work to change the channels. We tried to call the front desk but the phone also did not work. Too much static. These two things were minor since we didn't spend too much time in the room. We chose to mention them on our way out so that they could be easily fixed for the next guest. Again, not deal breakers at all and we would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

When we returned to our room after being out all day, we realized that no one had made up the room - no clean towels, no fresh soaps, etc., no made bed, no vacuuming, no emptying of the two trash cans, the room had not been touched, except that the few dollars we left as a tip had been taken. Imagine how we felt after a long day spent outside in the heat to see this. We were so disappointed.

My husband went down to the front desk to obtain some towels, etc., and was told that they expected a lot of complaints because one housekeeper called in sick and another left early. While I understand that things happen and housekeeping is a sucky job, the hotel management should have taken some action to remedy the situation. Staff on site should have at least proactively delivered fresh towels and a personal apology of some sort to the guests whose rooms were not cleaned. Hotel management totally failed here. I don't think they understand hospitality. The onus was on the staff on duty to make it right and they failed entirely to do their jobs. Even high level executives in other industries have filled in doing menial jobs when their staffs are out, but here, no one thought that their duty to their guests merited any special action.

The next morning, while sitting in the chairs by the front desk waiting for me to come down for breakfast, my spouse observed another guest waiting to check out or address some issue and the front desk person, a man, was carrying on a personal conversation with another staff member in full view of guests while ignoring their presence. The front desk person even made eye contact with the other guest as he was having this personal conversation, but continued to ignore the fact that he had a guest standing there waiting for him. This is such poor customer service - it says that the staff doesn't care about the guests or the business.

Some of the staff is in dire need of training that emphasizes appropriate hospitality practices and proper customer service.

We are staying at this property again for parents' weekend at RPI. Without significant improvement, this will be our last visit and we will also relate this saga to other RPI parents who ask for recommendations for accommodations.

The staff and management were extremely friendly and the hotel was thoroughly clean and comfortable. The service was some of the best I have received in the area which I travel to alot and the hotel offers many modern amenities at very affordable price. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very clean and the suites are, well, sweet. There's a nice little indoor pool and breakfast. They only charge $20 for a dog, which beats the other places around with indoor pools. My only complaint is that the breakfast didn't have any yogurt or other protein.

I had a horrible experience wich surprised me because i have been here a few times before. I travel all the way from the bronx, ny just to go there and this time they ruined my children's birthday in complete! The pool area and water was freezing and couldn't be used. The coffee bar was a mess and empty. The pull out mattress looked like it been through a war it was filthy. The bathroom sink look like they didn't bother to clean it. The tvs are outdated. When i went down at 7 for breakfast the waffle mix wasn't even out. My niece got injured with a rusted thumn tac in the pool area. The staff that was there when i checked in didn't know what he was doing he had a thick accent and we couldn't communicate properly and said he was alone and there was nothing he could do he said he couldn't even switch my room. He said the manager Tiffany would be there at 7am and at 7am when i went down the other staff said she would not be in for a few days. When i kept complaining he finally got her on the phone and she was driving she said the pool didn't have a heating system at the moment wich they don't say in the website or app, she couldn't tell me what she would charge me for the night because she wasn't in front of a computer and she was somewhat rude and unpleasant. I was so disappointed and my children and family were very sad.

The only reason it gets 1 star is becuase I can not make it 0. My stay was terrible! Hotel was a mad house, kids jumping on couches in the lobby and running around no one doing anything to stop them. The pool and hot tub were less than acceptable for any brand. Hot tub water was cloudy obviously chemicals out of wack. In the pool area we’re towels and clothes thrown everywhere with no one cleaning up anything. There was a used razor sitting on one of the chairs in the pool area which my daughter almost sat on. We notified the front desk and they removed it but later said it had no blade in the razor. Kids in the pool were using the rescue rings as floats. Kids unsupervised in the pool area. The whole second floor smelt like marijuana. I am just very disappointed with my stay, I’ve stayed at La Quinta before and feel this hotel has fallen off the grid since there is one just miles up the road in a lot better condition. Breakfast was terrible as well, toaster was broken and eggs were cold even though it had just opened absolutely the worse experience.

25 miles. Should take half-hour to get there. Suggest heading North on 9 for about 1/2 mile then turn LEFT, then immediate RIGHT to enter I-87 North. Traffic very heavy Northbound after about 2pm on weekdays.
