Usually the best home away from home. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and the location is perfect ( close to the airport) . Shuttle service was welcomed and appreciated. Breakfast was not included for our price but you can store your own food.

The hotel is located very close to the airport , however , myself, having flight into JFK and out 2 days later , I never got to use shuttle because it had very weird hours and never matching with major of international flights. Moreover, the property is a little dated. It might not be important but paying $150-$180 I think it’s not worth it being a frequent traveller who only looks for convenience and rest. The staff at the front desk was wonderful , big hi to Tanisha (please forgive me if my spelling is wrong), she’s been very pleasant over the phone and in person .

I have been using this facility for the better part of the past eight months while working on a large project nearby. It has truly become my home away from home. There are a number of hotels on this block so I had choices but finally settled on the Radisson. The reason? The people. Everyone that I have encountered has been super accommodating - always a friendly greeting and a willingness to be certain that my stay is relaxed. From the parking attendants to the cleaning staff - all great. When you first enter the lobby I hear a friendly "Hello, Mr. Plante! Welcome home" - Marvin, Anne, and everyone at the front desk understand how much that feeling of acknowledgement means to a weary traveler. Thanks for putting forth the effort week to week.

We chose this hotel because of the “park and stay” rate. It is a decent hotel with friendly front desk and valet staff.
But the reason I’m giving it 5 stars is because of Cheryl, in the restaurant/bar. We had arrived back from Italy after a long flight and just wanted a quick dinner before crashing. Cheryl took care of us and was so welcoming and warm that we ended up staying for dessert. You can tell that she treats the customers like family and really made us glad that we chose this hotel.

On our recent holiday trip, when checking in to another hotel, we were told that we needed to try and find parking for our car ourselves because they did not have any room. We walked to the hotel next door, the Radisson, to see if they had parking. We were extremely upset as Luis greeted us at the check-in desk. His calming and pleasant personality allowed us to calm down immediately. He was able to book us a stay with them on the trip out and on the return at $100 cheaper than the other hotel plus Lincoln and Brandon in parking were able to find us parking for our car at the Radisson with no problem at all! Cheryl in bar was also extremely pleasant and helped us to end the nite stress free. What an amazing group of workers! We will definitely plan to stay at the Radisson every time we fly out of JFK!!!

We had never stayed in a Radison Blu hotel, but I thought that the ones I’d seen looked nice - not this one! Very scruffy, noticed immediately one lift not working, scaffolding type poles in front of the doors. We had requested 2nd or 3rd floor, told by receptionist we were on the 8th floor, the lower floors were not available, not using them. No alternative, take it or leave it. I would have left it but we would have been charged for the room. Marvin, the receptionist had a very bad attitude, he told me if I didn’t like elevators they had stairs I could use.......8 floors and we are retirement age! He was being facetious. I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager.
We had no option but to accept the room, when we entered saw one curtain hanging off the curtain pole (see photo)
Having now read reviews I realise that they must still have homeless people living on the lower floors.
Shall never use Radison Blu again.

This was a paid stay by the Company I work for, otherwise I would have checked out immediately. Staff were friendly, but hotel needs complete refurb. and a review of the management/supervision. Plug sockets hanging out of wall, peeling wallpaper, cracked bathroom tiles. Rooms were old, but there is no excuse for basic housekeeping standards. Unacceptable & dirty. Food residue on furniture, hairs found in bed linen, greasy hair marks on head board, black fingermarks on door frames & dust. If this room was supposed to have been sanitised under COVID before guest(s) arrival, how could it be if it was not even basically cleaned? Finally, had to use ear plugs to sleep as windows were not sound proof or glazed to reduce noise, I felt like I was sleeping on side of the I678 freeway! Photos available.

Don’t rely on the shuttle service either to or from JFK; it runs if/when the driver feels like going. We (and several others) took Uber after waiting nearly an hour for a pickup and seeing more people waiting the next morning than the shuttle would hold. Shuttle also does not run between 1:00-3:00 in the afternoon. Restaurant is closed except for a couple of hours in the morning for a barely adequate breakfast- not even a microwave. Heater in our room broke and we had to change rooms at 1:00 a.m. Front desk staff were friendly and made a token effort ($60) to make up for our moving to a much smaller room at 1:00 although Uber cost $30 (r/t) for a service that should have been included. My guess is that the charged us for what the 2nd, smaller, room actually cost.

We showed up at our hotel booked via Booking.com, we were greeted with by 2 clerk who seem more preoccupied with them selves then our booking. we were told that if we wanted to check in early it would cost us an additional $100.00..
That was a first for us..
Left us with an unpleasant experience and will not be staying at a radisson any time soon..

I am a very frequent traveler, and I had a one night stay here in between work trips. First off, this hotel has WONDERFUL and friendly staff, especially Latoya, Andy and Cory, they were AMAZING! My work trip was much later at night and these three helped accommodate me for a later check out last minute. I’ll be sure to pass their names on to my fellow coworkers who stay at hotels near JFK frequently, and I appreciated their flexibility!! The location is great just a few minutes away from the airport and they have shuttle service. Check in was very easy and quick, my room was very clean it even had a microwave and a mini fridge. The fitness center was spread out with quite a bit of equipment and there is a free breakfast. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re looking for something close to the airport with reasonable prices and wonderful staff.

Agreed with Oregonian4th on using the phones, this holds true for both to and from the airport. Kiosks are located near the curbside pickup areas at the airport, and just ask the front desk about calling the shuttle or checking for times.

Consider leaving your car in JFK long term lot at Lefferts Boulevard. Very safe and large lot. Connects to JFK via tram.
