After driving 6 hours, I was exhausted but I was VERY EARLY for check in. The 2 women at the front desk literally jumped into action and got a room ready for me “lickety split “. I’m super impressed.!! I hope the owner reads this and gives both of them a raise. Employees like that are next to impossible to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I’d highly recommend this establishment 😊

We have stayed in the BW Hammondsport when we visited the Finger Lakes in the past but the winos had the place booked this time. We found the BW in Hornell to be a great second choice. The staff was so friendly as we arrived very late at night. Our room was spotless and we had extra toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels and hot water. The room was quiet even though there was construction nearby. Our room was equipped with a refrigerator with small freezer and microwave. There were plenty of plugs bedside and on the desk for electronics and the wifi worked fine. This was also a convenient location if you forgot to pack something with a Walmart and Wegmans nearby. Darlene and Laurie at the front desk took care of crediting my gift cards in the morning and they gave us a few breakfast choices to eat in the breakfast room. They were serving a kids pancake meal, a cold "to go" bag or a hot "to go" bag with a microwaveable breakfast sandwich in it that was pretty good. Hornell BW was a great surprise. The staff were pleasant and professional and the town was safe and close to a lot of attractions.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at in the last several years and we have stayed I many hotels in many cities. I rank it in the top-10 for the cost. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was good and the staff did a great job.

Old, rundown hotel. Front desk person was rude and unfriendly when we checked in. Rooms were dirty, dark, depressing. Staff didn’t clean room unless we asked. Over priced for what it is. Walls so thin you can hear everything in the next room. Heating/ac very noisy. Door to hallway has at least 1/4 inch space top and bottom so heard all noises. No safety handle in shower/tub.

We arrived around 12:30pm for an early check-in only to be greeted by the female clerk who was picking her teeth with her finger and had a bad attitude, as if we were interrupting her lunch with her coworker. I asked if we could check-in early and she said "if the room is ready". She punched a few keys and said "nope, it's not ready". We checked in later into our room, but quickly found mold all around the seam of the tub surround, water and soap scum on the tub/shower faucets and bathroom sink. There were cob webs on the ceiling and an accumulation of dust on the armoire. The room was disgusting considering we were charged $193 +tax, etc.

I was on a cross-country driving trip to watch my grandson play baseball at the Cooperstown All-Star Village tournament. In making reservations at Best Westerns across the country, I did so based on mileage between 400-450 miles max. The Best Western Maple City Inn was just under the 400-mile range, and only about 180 miles from my stay in Oneonta, so was perfect for my last night on the road.
The hotel is in a not-so-great location. Not that I ever felt unsafe, but it's right by a railroad track and surround by an older neighborhood. Not walking distance to anything plus during the afternoon/early-evening you get the train horn occasionally. Mind you, never heard it during the night so it did not bother my sleep at all.
Arrived at the front desk and was greeted like I was a long-lost friend. Seriously, it was just a nice way to start my stay. I had sent a package second-day aired ahead to be picked up when I arrived, and it was there waiting for me. In fact, all my interactions with staff were pleasant and friendly. I felt at home.
One other nice aspect is they provide a long list of local restaurants so that you don't have to look up where to eat. Made my life easier.
I was placed on the bottom floor so could park right outside my window. The room was wonderfully clean and furnished with a microwave and small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean as well. The property also has an indoor pool as well as a small exercise room. I did not use either, but they are available.
It's doubtful I will be back in the area, unless my other grandson comes in about 8 years to the tournament. But if life takes me here again, I will have no hesitation whatsoever about staying at the Best Western Maple City Inn again. Just a great and friendly place to stay.

We have stayed at this property in the past, good value, friendly staff, and it offers a pool and breakfast in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and appear newer which is a good thing. The room amenities were good. Very big fridge and microwave, hair dryer, and all other normality's for hotel rooms. Only minor issue that I found was the fan casing in the bathroom was very dirty and dusty and an odd spot on the ceiling, and a few random spots on the wall. Maybe just slowing the cleaning staff down a bit and asking them to clean like their own grandmother would be the next visitor.

Good visit ,clean Hotel,friendly staff and a good breakfast. We were given a 'welcome bags ) ' when we checked in ( a bottle of water, a brownie and chex mix ) . The woman who checked us in/out was friendly and helpful as were the Breakfst staff. Very good crew here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The price on a summer Sunday was about $150. The two queens were good, as was the cot. Liked having a microwave and fridge. Very good continental breakfast. The indoor pool was nice, not too cold. The hotel was quiet. It’s not a new hotel, but it’s been updated and maintained. Staff was very good and friendly. It is located a block off the main street, so a little tricky to find. But very convenient to all the downtown amenities. There are not many really good hotels in the Hornell area, so we were glad to find this one. (One minor complaint: a bright colored sofa in the lobby had obvious stains.....either deep clean it or get a new one. One little thing like that can really detract from an otherwise excellent hotel).

Was pleased with service and amenitys at this location. Minor repairs in rooms need attention. Even with major construction in rear of building, I was comfortable. The neighboring train tracks was a shock the first time.
