From the moment I walked into the lobby I knew the owners took pride in their hotel. I didn't have a reservation, but when I stopped in and asked for a room for the night they were ready to accomodate. The owner walked me down to my room and checked the room to make sure it was to our liking, including making sure there were enough towels for our family, that the room was clean and even brought us in some cold bottles of water. We checked in early in the morning and although we didn't stay the night prior he is extended his continental breakfast to us. Rooms were clean, cosy and roomy. Again very well taken care of and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and continental breakfast hit the spot for the entire family. Close to Keuka Lake and Hammondsport. Definitely would stay again the next time we visit the area! 5 stars!

The Vinehurst Inn was an incredible value and accommodation for us for 4 days last week. The price was the lowest in the area by far and the rooms were excellent. They were exceptionally clean, well stocked and had everything we needed plus the A/C worked perfectly. Good coffee in the morning and their location was very centrally located between the five major Finger Lakes. Plus the owner was extremely professional, personable, accommodating and very knowledgeable of the areas. We were extremely satisfied and recommend the Vinehurst Inn very strongly.

We had such an enjoyable stay at Vinehurst Inn and Suites! Neeta and her husband are fabulous owners that go out of their way to make sure all of their guest's stays are enjoyable and comfortable. We are used to soft pillows, so we asked if they might have any. Neeta gladly found two and brought them up to our room. We stayed in a queen jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was wonderful! The showers were nice and hot, and there was a small fridge and microwave in the room for our convenience. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins and coffee and tea for breakfast each morning. Neeta was just around the corner if anything was needed. And her husband is making some wonderful updates to rooms at the inn. We enjoyed the Glenn Curtiss museum, kayaking on Keuka Lake, the shops and restaurants in the square of Hammondsport, shopping at the Windmill and Oak Hill Farms, and a delicious dinner looking out on the water at the Switz Inn. Vinehurst is a wonderful inn with so much to do nearby!

This is an updated motel with local ownership, not one of the anonymous Best Westerns or similar chain operations. As such the rooms are individually decorated and the proprietors are available, friendly, and very willing to please their guests. The breakfast was more than "continental," with hard-boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, local fresh croissants and donuts, juices, and cereal available. Convenient location with the Curtiss museum, a local winery, and downtown Hammondsport (with several restaurants) very close by.

Spent a night here on the way to Niagara Falls. I have allergies to fragrances, and forgot to mention it when booking our room. The room assigned to us had an obvious perfumed scent, so I asked if the window could be opened. It could not be done, so the owner immediately found us a different room with minimal fragrance, and called her husband to insert a screen and open a window to allow cross ventilation. What amazing customer service... and the courtesy and kindness of these hosts continued to the continental breakfast and suggestions for the next leg of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked a queen room after seeing photos from the Vinehurst web site.
What we found was the opposite of the photos.
Where the web site showed more modern accommodations with marbled counter what we slept in for 2 nights was a remembrance of a local, dated motel.
The room and bathroom was clean and neat with bathroom amenities and towels included.
The continental breakfast consists of basic cold cereals, muffins, and regular coffee.
The cereal was not in a dispenser as you see in a Hampton or Marriott. The large, opened box was on a table and you poured your own serving. We decided to go down the road to Dunkin.
The Inn faces the road and while this may be a negative surprisingly it was quiet at night.
This place could use some touch ups such as new weather stripping around the door and windows .
Some if it was missing and we placed one of the bathroom rugs in front of the door to stop the air from coming in from the bottom.
The furniture and curtains were Ok yet dated.
In the future we will book at the Best Western Plus down the road.

A nicely appointed and renovated old motel. Innkeeper was very warm, friendly gratuitous, and helpful. You could tell right away that this is family owned and they take pride in their business. Directly off the main drag and close to downtown Hammondsport and the museum’s. Our queen size bedroom on the second floor was a little small, but large enough to be comfortable. There are larger rooms available. Bathroom was clean and functional. No coffee in the room, but good tasting fresh coffee in the breakfast area.
Continual breakfast included hard boiled eggs along with some cereal, yogurt and various pastries.

This is a quaint motel. It is clean and the owners are vey helpful and accommodating. While some may say it is dated, I would say that it is charming. It is a typical 1960's motel with charming decor. There is a slightly more than average continental breakfast (I always appreciate a hard boiled egg with continental breakfast). I would stay here again for sure.

Do not let first looks deceive--this is not your standard roadside motel! The Vinehurst is well situated at the southernmost end of Keuka Lake, a short 5-7 minute drive into the town of Hammondsport. The rooms are clean and all necessary amenities are provided. The best part of our experience was the superb service we received from the owner. Food and winery suggestions were superlative as were her suggestions for short hikes and a local town festival. We would definitely visit again.
