Detailed Reviews
I've stayed twice at this location, August 2018 and August 2019. I have a family reunion nearby and it's very convenient to stay here. Additionally it's a bit off a main road so quieter than some places I've looked into. Both times the service and quality were great. Last summer they were in the middle of an update, and I got an updated room which was quite nice. Beds are comfortable, room was clean, as was fridge and furnishings. The main entrance was fenced off, you had to enter by a side door, and some of the flooring had not been installed. This made it difficult to check in, and get to and from the parking, but I've been told they are finished with the remodel. Free breakfast was always plentiful, with toast, bagels, hot selection of meat (bacon or sausage) egg (hard boiled, cheese omelet) fresh green or red apples, or oranges, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, waffle maker. This summer, with Lego land opening not too far away, the prices have increased, which is disappointing.

We stayed here for a family visit to nearby legoland. If you want to visit the park as well this is a great place to stay, and a much better value than what they are providing at the legoland hotel itself.
The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciate that the room had a minifridge and a microwave. The AC worked perfectly, and the room had a bathtub which is always super helpful when travelling with the kids. Unfortunately it's an outdoor pool and it wasn't open yet, but in the summer it looked like it would be great.
The included breakfast was also great with all the staples (eggs, ham, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal, fruit, and maybe more). All the staff I interreacted with were courteous and helpful.
Goshen itself was a charming little town. In addition to Legoland there were plenty of places to eat and activities nearby. The ice cream shop nearby on the other side of the highway was a perfect stop one evening as well.

They have waffles, eggs, bacon, canadian bacon, oatmeal and the other continental breakfast items for breakfast. I've been on the road for the last week so having a place that has a real breakfast, not breakfast sandwich, is ultra terrific.
The breakfast area was nice and clean with fruit, yogurt, bread and all the normal breakfast items that I would have seen prior to the pandemic.
When we first walked in, the room had a faint smell of smoke and the carpets were slightly damp, as if someone had recently cleaned the carpet in the room. The beds were good. By morning, the carpet was fully dry and I didn't notice the smell anymore.
I'm glad they are serving a real breakfast.

Booked for 2 nights to take my kids to Legoland which is 3 minutes away . The staff was very friendly the lobby looks great . However, the rooms are not what i expected from a Marriott . I had to change rooms 2 times . The first room 253 was a total nightmare, the noise coming from the pool area all night from the actual pool motor room was unbearable. The lovely receptionist switched my room to 315 in the morning to room 315 stay away from that room it’s full of ants everywhere. The ants were on the bed , table , chair , bathroom, sick , toilet . That room needs to be SHUT DOWN!!! They finally gave me a 3 room which was on the first floor which was clean and quite . I guess the higher you go the worse it gets ! Be aware this hotel is a few minutes away from Legoland, therefore you will have kids running all over the place . The running & jumping starts at 6 am ! The complimentary breakfast area is a very small space , however you can pick up some coffee, waffles, eggs , etc . There is a outdoor pool which opens from 9-9 pm . Very small no lifeguard you have to sign a waiver . From 3 ft - 5 ft deep . The lobby has snacks for sale . Next time I will just pay the price and stay in Legoland. I don’t want to deal with the headache of musty carpets and ants everywhere!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was not only clean , the beds and the pillows were extremely comfortable !! The room was spacious as well as the vanity. My husband who has a difficult time sleeping in most hotels was very pleased and slept soundly!! I would recommend this hotel most definitely. A nice addition was the staff member who set the breakfast in the morning providing extremely fresh food for the guest with a smile.

Location, location, location drives the price as proximity to Legoland rules.. approximately $ 450
for a room 8-12-22 is off the charts. The room is dated, no amenities, the smallest single bar of soap ever to be offered at a Marriott property, and a bed and sleep out that was useless. The "breakfast" offering was a mess, as there was no control in the dining area. The best to be had was Yogurt, untouched by the masses.
The reality is that the area is expensive and the need for accommodation supports the unfortunate combination of demand and price. However, Marriott can and should do better.

My family stayed here for 2 nights because it is conveniently located close to Legoland. That was the purpose of our trip. As soon as we walked into the front doors, you could smell how fresh and clean the hotel is! Upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite so that was a wonderful surprise! The room was very clean. I love the convenient little kitchen - it is equipped with a sink, mini fridge and microwave. They also offer a free hot breakfast buffet so that works out when you have a big family. The hotel over exceeded my expectations - I definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent two days in Amish country in northern Indiana and stayed at this motel. We were pleased with the clean room, excellent service and good location. We highly recommend this motel. When we needed extra coffee pods for Day #2 the clerk went above and beyond the call of duty to provide what we needed along with additional suggestions. She was helpful in recommending some things we might enjoy while in the area. A great experience all around.

This is a nice hotel in Goshen and we have stayed here before. Breakfast was not a nice experience, children who are at high risk for Covid were running free in the breakfast room touching everything so we stayed well clear. Prices in this area have become crazy probably due to Legoland. Ida came through while we were there and our window had a significant leak. Reception put several towels on the window ledge and they were all saturated by morning. Overall a disappointing stay as a long term Marriott customer.
Probably will not be back.

The hotel seems to be an extension of Legoland, with a large number of families staying here since Legoland is only a few minutes away. The outdoor pool was great after a day wandering up and down the hills of Legoland. The landscaping around the pool is very nice and gives a resort feel to the pool area. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful; they kept it well stocked despite a majority of families arriving between 8:00 and 9:00. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor common seating area that can accommodate eating taking food in the evening. The hotel seems newly remodeled and was very pleasant to stay in. we will definitely stay here again!
