We randomly found this place with a some hours to spare in Douz and they helped us book a restaurant for lunch nearby then we returned and got treated to an awesome hammam experience. After a good cleaning scrub and exfoliation we got a lovely massage and chilled a bit buly the pool. The spa people were super friendly, kind people and though I don't often leave reviews on TripAdvisor, i felt they deserved one for really making our day!

This is the best hotel in the desert area. You can get almost everything you can think about for a vacation. We did camel ride sunrise tour to the desert. And using the swimming pool until noon. They have buffets for three meals which give a variety of food as well. After seeing the sunset and experiencing sandy bread making in the dessert we had an amazing Hamman&massage. The whole Spa experience was professional and relaxing. My masseur Olfa was brilliant, with professional techniques and very warm attitude! Thanks Olfa!

The hotel in general is acceptable, although the rooms need updating. The best thing about the hotel without any doubt is the pool and the spa and massage service, very good professionals and friendly. You can't leave the hotel without trying it.

Stayed here one night on a small group tour of Tunisia. Located a bit out of town (which is well worth a visit) but very pleasant. Friendly staff. Food OK - adequate rather than exciting. One thing all of the Mouradi hotels had was a door between the sleeping area and the passage leading to the en-suite and corridor door, so no or very little noise from passers by in the corridor.

The hôtel is old. The room had a stale smell. There is carpet in the rooms. The food is ok. Not much choices. I was told they would charge 15DN extra for a single room but they charged double. I would not go back.

Twin beds put together yuck! Dinner full of tour groups, ok food. Breakfast horrible needs better quality. Coffee in small paper cups! Staff were quite good. Room comfort well beds a bit spongy but bathroom worked. Not a lot of options I guess. Not e dinnerat 730 ! Breakfast starts at 5 but terrible as noted. Room for food improvement for sure

The Al Mouradi Douz clearly had some better days and obviously suffered from the COVID tourism crisis. While the bathroom was well maintained, the furniture in the room was worn out. Wifi was not available in the room and there was no mini-bar. The breakfast buffet did not look fresh and juices provided were awfully artificial. That being said, the staff was friendly and was making a lot of efforts to keep the place clean, including the swimming pool that was going through a deep-cleaningsession. Due to its proximity to the desert, the place overall had a calm and relaxing vibe. While is not to be recommended for an extended stay, it it convenient for a quick lay over in the South.

One night stay is okay considering the fact that the hotel is at the desert, but if you're planning long stay I don't recomend it. Hotel looks big and beautiful when you enter to the reception and walk through hall, but rooms are very outdated. Our room had only one plug and it was very uncomfortable for both of us, because we had to work too. Food was very disappointing. Surely not fresh, after eating there we both were having bad stomachache for two days.

We booked our stay during winter holidays when it was mostly busy; that was the first mistake! Checking in took extra time due to staff being short. We booked a room for 4 persons, on arrival only 2 towels were available in the room - requested 2 extra, nothing was provided… dining was included in the booking which was 2nd mistake; the restaurant area was very tiny compared to the hotel visitors, at 7pm the queue was to access the restaurant was very long… an hour later we were able to get in but the tables were not clean, again short on staff and waiters. Even an hour later, we were obliged to queue up to get your meal! Disaster! I decided to leave and get a snack from elsewere In summary, you should never try this hotel again - perhaps bed only would be ok.
