I would have given higher rating however when I found out this morning that the hot water was STILL an issue, and that the hotel knew about it and the woman at the front desk couldn’t compensate me because she wasn’t the manager, I instantly lost respect for the facility. It was a fine enough location, parking lot could fit 10-12 cars but there was plenty of street parking available. The lobby is small but clean. The staff were polite and breakfast was simple, pre packages muffins, banana breads, yogurt, small cartons of orange juice, and wrapped apples and bananas. The room was small, but clean. The majority of the public areas seemed clean, there were some small paint chips here and there, and the stairwell only exited to the street so you needed to take the small elevator to access the rooms. If the hot water worked, it would have been a very nice stay. But after being outside in the gross summer heat, it was disappointing that we were not made aware of this ahead of time.

Would stay again. Unpretentious. Very convenient. Free shuttle from airport and free breakfast. Lovely staff and clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities include: shampoo and soap, hair dryer, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker with one regular and decaf coffee. No local restaurants within walking distance. We were given menus from local restaurants that deliver to hotel. We could have taken shuttle back to airport to catch cruise ship transfer. We are taking a ride share to Brooklyn port for our cruise - 15 miles.

This hotel was a strange mix of good and confusing! It's not located in a very nice place, close to LGA for sure so it wasn't a long journey after a tiring flight but the area around the hotel isn't the kind of place you can really walk around. No restaurants nearby, but you can get food delivered.

We had a room on the fourth floor, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room. A nice hot shower, toiletries, a microwave and coffee maker. The room was worn, visible dirt on the bathroom floor, cracked TV screen, chipped paint. Reviews mentioned the noise from the airport, and while we could hear planes taking off, the old fan by the window was noisy enough to drown most of it out. Overall, we liked the room, and accept that for the price point and age of the building it wasn't going to be brand new and perfect.

The hotel only has one small lift that shakes, runs very slow, and was often full. We took the stairs which were much quicker despite the lift being right outside our room. The free breakfast was good! Bagels, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee and tea, and different hot food each day. The breakfast room is too small though, with only seven tables. You feel like you have to rush to eat because otherwise people are standing around, waiting for a table. As well as breakfast, there's a small selection of snacks and drinks available in the lobby to buy.

There are only about 20 parking spaces. The car park is tiny and the shuttle bus has to swing around a very tight space. We used the shuttle to travel to the US Open tennis tournament, it was a good service but very popular, and the hotel only has two vehicles. One carries 7 passengers and the other 10, so if a large group is waiting to travel, then not everyone can go on the same trip. I had asked at the desk if we needed to book onto the shuttles and was told no, but one night when we were picked up from the tennis, the driver remarked that only 5 people had called to request a pick up, and 12 of us were waiting. But I thought we didn't need to book? So it was a little confusing, but in general if you turn up at the times on the schedule, a shuttle would show up. We also used it to return to LGA, which was great.

Overall, for the price it was a decent stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a short car ride from the 7 line station, and a 30 minute journey from there to Manhattan. So it's in an alright place for both city and tennis visits. Not the best property, but also fair and with its bright sides. I would consider it again next time, if other Flushing hotels are booked up.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Certainly not up to typical Marriott standards. My sister and I booked two rooms for Saturday, Sept. 17. My room had no plastic cups in the bathroom, and the tv cable box was hanging over the tv with the wires dangling in front of the screen. My sister's room had holes in the wall where some sort of detector or monitor obviously was and never replaced. Also, she had no clock in the room. Beds were soft and blankets were paper thin. We went to the front desk at 8 pm on Saturday night and requested extra blankets. We were told they'd be right up. By 9 pm I called the front desk and there was no answer. At 9:30 pm I tried calling the front desk again and again, no answer. I ended up using bath towels as my extra blanket. To me, that is unacceptable, especially for the price. I would not recommend this old and poorly maintained hotel to anyone. The only plus is it's convenience to LGA and shuttle.

Booked a room online for my Dad travelling solo so he could easily catch his early morning flight out of LaGuardia airport. Called the hotel to confirm the reservation. Reservation was confirmed.
When my dad showed up there, they told him the reservation was at a different motel with a $35 cab fare to the airport. This is the place I booked, I don't know why they gave him the run-around. Would not recommend.

We were in Queens for the first time for the US Open and needed a convenient place to stay. Not only was Fairfield Inn LaGuardia convenient to the venue but the accommodations were perfect for our two nights’ stay; clean room, comfortable king bed and welcoming air conditioning for 95 degree days.
The service exceeded our expectations! We were warmly greeted by Alvin and Fernando who made check-in easy and saw to our every need including helping with parking and other timely necessities. We can’t say enough about their service along with the personal and sincere attention from Tiffany, Antonio and Waleid(who oversaw all breakfast details).
We want to thank Amar and Hassam for being on the property, working along side the whole Fairfield team to ensure a highly pleasant stay for us!
We will be back!

As an airport hotel, this is great. However, if you’re staying here and hoping to get the New York tourist experience, then I understand the bad review. I booked this place as I had a late night flight into jfk & an early flight out from LGA. Perfect. Comfortable bed, easy check in, breakfast (I didn’t have it but had coffee). I didn’t hear any planes after 10pm or road noise (I was room 105). Would recommend.

Stayed here twice before picking up a relative in Queens. You are not insulated from the ruckus around you, but that is because you get the double whammy of an airport and you're in NYC. Turn your portable sound spa up to 11.

The staff is really friendly, which is unusual for an airport hotel. I will say, however, that Marriott does something right with staff since they all seem friendly.

The best thing about this hotel is that, because of the area, neighboring the NYPD Academy and ConEd, parking competition is fairly low. And, when I go back to the car in the morning, it is where I left it with the tires still on and everything. And, the parking was free!

I gave it four stars instead of 5 because of a mysterious beeping sound in the hall that would not go away. Maybe due the the renovations.

Terrible experience booking through a 3rd party website. Got to the shuttle area at LGA and called the hotel only to be told that the hotel was oversold for the night, and because I booked through a 3rd party, my reservation was cancelled. The guy on the phone told me that there is nothing they can do, not even book at a family property. It was almost midnight and we had a 14 month old with us, and were hung out to dry. Be very careful, these are not the kind of people I would want to trust with staying overnight.

The wife and I stayed here twice. On the front and back end of a cruise. Both times we were very satisfied with our stay. Each time we were able to have early check in (hooray!). The front desk folks were kind and helpful. We used the courtesy shuttle from and to the airport - another good experience. The rooms were clean and had both a fridge and a microwave. The beds were terrific. Used DoorDash to get dinner. The only drawback is there are no food places real close. Breakfast was typical, but they had some great NY bagels! We also enjoyed the lemonade and coffee that is always available.

Good Afternoon Ciara, We are in a safe area. The New York Police Academy is directly across the street from us. However we don't offer shuttle to JFK. You would need to use a yellow cab to get to the hotel. As for LaGuardia, we offer a shuttle that starts at 4:30am. From 4:30am-9am our shuttle runs every 30 minutes. After 9am it is every hour on the hour. Please let me know if there is anything I could further assist in. Best, Jorge Orellana Front Office Manager
