Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is a fraud. It claims to be recently renovated it is not. It had water dripping from the ceiling. The hvac had tape on it. They gave us the wrong key and wouldn’t change our room. I complained about 3 times. I then disputed it with my bank and they lied to my bank saying I was happy with the stay. I even have pictures. Don’t stay here!!!!

When I arrived to the hotel it was a bit past 3pm which is check in time and the front desk told me that my room wasn’t ready and it would be in 20-30 mins. However when my room was ready it had an awful smell to it and the bathtub was dirty still , they quickly came to clean the bathroom which was a plus. However I was here for a week and night 2 I woke up in the middle of the night from something biting my body . When I looked in the mirror I have bite marks all over my arms and shoulders I searched the bed seen nothing went back to sleep and I woke up to more marks on my feet and body. I’ve stayed in this hotel 2xs before and have no issues but this time as very unacceptable

Seen this hotel before located by my favorite diner “triple crown”. The rates weren’t bad, room clean, free breakfast had several varieties, free parking. Definitely coming back for a holiday getaway. There’s a food town, fat ernies, triple crown diner, Starbucks, subway all in short distance. I recommend this place

Booked last minute for a wedding. Upon arrival, we realized there was NO good parking. Check in was a breeze, we got our keys and headed to the basement to find out room. YES....the basement. Our view was of the 5 car parking lot, where anyone walking by could look down into our "room". There was no closet, and the room was tiny. We soon realized that none of the outlets worked. We changed rooms, and ended up across the hall with a view of the feet on the street through our tine windows at the top of the room. We got back from the wedding at 2am, to find that there was NO parking near the small prison cell we rented for the night, and had to walk 2 blocks, at 2am, in queens. Not a good experience at all, would NEVER stay here again. By far, the seediest place I've ever stayed. Find another place to stay, do not stay here.

We booked this hotel last minute after a problem with our flight and it was one of few with availability that had a ‘good’ rating and the supplied images looked good. Upon arrival the reception staff were really nice and helpful. We went to our room and it was like walking into one of those seedy motel rooms you see in movies! The bedding was stained and nothing like the advertised rooms, the bathroom wasn’t clean, with pubic hair on the wall and toilet. There’s a shonky coffee machine that I had to clean before we could use it. The room was so small that once our 2 cases and bags were in there, space was hard to find. Breakfast wasn’t nice at all. There’s 24 hour coffee if you want to get dressed to go and get some first thing or in the evening. We left after the first night as the place was so depressing. Area is incredibly isolated, so hard to figure out why it was so noisy at night. The walls are paper thin, the guy in the next room coughed all night long and kept us awake. All in all, this place needs a serious overhaul!

Small room but perfectly adequate and it only took us about 15 minutes to drive to JFK airport. Late checkout was not a problem and staff were very helpful. Despite other reviews stating that it is noisy I did not find that at all - I had a room at the rear of the hotel. Sleep comfort was good and breakfast adequate. Free car parking was a bonus. Supermarket directly across the road. Also a short (20 minute) drive to the American Airpower museum at Farmingdale.

DO NOT BELIVE in any reviews about "silent hotel". Staff writes them. The whole inside area is a one big hall - sound goes everywhere. Rooms doors are NOT sound-proof. I was not able to sleep almost the whole night - people were talking and screaming outside and all the sounds are "present" in your room. Another story is breakfast area - 2 m from the closest rooms. Preparations for 6.00 breakfast (on Saturday !!!!) kill you sleep. No rest in this hotel and do not expect anu help from the staff. They don't react.

Hotel was clean can be abit noisy at times. Breakfast wasn't that great because there wasn't much on the menu. I think the price were too much for their services the heating wasn't working that great give more cold air than heat. Overall I would rate this place a 2 star because it was clean . bed comfy too.

I booked this room above others, even at a higher price, because they advertised a fitness room. They do not have one. If you don’t care about that, the rooms are nice and clean, though ours was on the basement level, and I was regularly awakened by people in the parking lot right outside my basement window. The heat/AC unit was loud, and off and on all night. Walls are thin, and I was awakened every time someone on the basement floor entered or exited their room. Breakfast was pretty good with eggs and sausage, though the seating area is very small and we couldn’t sit to eat. Overall, I was disappointed for the price.
