Econo Lodge is normally at the bottom of the Choice Hotel chain but this one is better than the Comfort Inn’s we stayed at on this trip. Probably because there is nothing off this exit so they take pride in being the only choice. Whatever the reason it was clean and the beds were decent enough. Need more pillows and thicker towels but I can handle that as long as the room including the bathroom are kept clean. Good job housekeeping! The view behind the hotel is pretty!

Stayed here with the girlfriend. Very nice and very clean. Forgot something in the room and called. They searched for 30 minutes to find it and return. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area

Checked in on 10/14 after a 6 hr ride. Wonderful woman at front desk came to greet me. The motel is spotless and comfortable. Halls and common areas were very clean. Room was clean. I faced highway but that didn't bother me. I didn't hear a thing. My only complaint was the coffee which I had read prior. Was not impressed with powered creamer. McDonalds is right down the road. That wasn't great either. I was there for a dog rescue but intend to go back for a vacation to visit family and friends. Was told by woman at front desk to call the hotel direct for a better price. I will next time. If you smoke there are many places to go out to. Met some nice people as well. I highly recommend this hotel. Pet friendly and was able to enjoy them as I left 2 behind. Gorgeous area and great host!

I got charged an extra $250, so I called to try to resolve it and the man told my husband and I that the room smelled like smoke. But NEITHER OF US SMOKE. The man was incredibly rude, asking if my husband is stupid and didn’t understand. No… we don’t understand because no one smoked in that room when we stayed there. Apparently they can charge this whether you smoke or not. So I just paid over $400 for 1 night in a crappy motel. Very aggravating

OMG. Let's start with the good. It's a short list. The room was clean and quiet. Easy to find off the highway. Bed was fine.
The bad. This is an old motel, probably from the 80's and it looks like it. Think Mom and Pop style. My room looked like I was staying in someone's spare bedroom. One ceiling light. Personal care items-not Econolodge branded-scattered throughout. No closet or rack to hang clothes. No coffee maker or even cup in the room to use for drinking. Tiny TV. Did I mention that I had to kill a wasp as soon as I checked in? The pictures on the web site must be from some other Econolodge. Check in for some unknown reason took very long. The guys at the desk seemed kind of clueless. And the worst part? NO BREAKFAST and NO COFFEE! I got no explanation why and was handed a bag with an apple, granola bar, yogurt and a pop tart! I hope the company that paid for this gets a refund. If I was paying I would insist on one! Unless you are desperate avoid this place.

We stayed one night to visit family that were staying on Cuba lake. It was convenient and close
Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and provided all we needed.
They even brought a breakfast to go bag before we turned in for night for the next day

Went back to visit friends and relatives. Stayed there last fall to rescue a pup in Friendship. This visit my 2 dogs stayed with us overnight. Room 110 was great. Owner is as well. Very quiet location even if located just off from 86. Friendly people that loved dogs. This is do not miss location that is pet friendly.

The hotel is a family oriented place to stay. I come monthly and the staff make me welcome every time. No issues with the room that I get. The rooms are always clean. I would recommend this hotel for a stay.

This brand of hotel has never been high on our list, but we were quite impressed with the ample parking and overall cleanliness of this hotel. It's located just off of 86 and the room seemed well maintained and had new (or fairly new) furnishings. The continental bfast was lacking, but overall we were happy with out stay.
