This hotel is located very close to the ALB airport and their shuttle service to local restaurants as well as the airport is a great deal. Very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice to have before heading out. Yes, I would stay here again.

I would like today that I got some much needed rest. The bed was very comfortable. The room was cozy and welcoming.I am a person that is very big on lighting and having enough plugs and outlets for things you have to take along with you such as if you have more than one phone or laptop. My husband and I were able to bathe comfortably in a bathroom where a bathtub was provided along with a shower. I also love mirrors which I was able to see my complete attire. We were displaced from our home because of the storm but we found this place feeling right at home.

Our room was comfortable, quiet and clean with one exception (went to use two wash cloths and both had long hairs on them; not very pleasant but we just tossed them aside to be rewashed). The room lacked a closet. We asked the front desk person about it as we were checking out and were told there’s a place to hang items behind the window curtain. We’ll have to check that out the next time. The breakfast was okay considering Covid precautions. We really liked the convenience to the interstate. Now for a big caution: the entrance and parking lot area are full of potholes. Some were deep enough to potentially damage a vehicle. I hope the hotel invests in repairing that minefield soon. In the meantime be careful.

Albany airport area hotel, very convenient to I-87/787/Rt 7 NY. Quiet, clean large room. Good TV. Shower was good. Breakfast had typically generous offerings and was kept very well stocked and tidy while we enjoyed Sunday morning. EV charger in the parking lot enabled an overnight charge at a very fair per KwH price.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Hamptons, including this one several times over the past few years, and they’ve usually been comfortable, but this stay was absolutely awful.
The hotel is in rough shape. The parking lot is completely full of potholes, some of which are really deep. The hotel should pay for new shock absorbers. Water leaked into the lobby from upstairs - really poor maintenance.
We had one room for nine nights, and one for four, and got housekeeping service in ONE room only ONE time! We requested cleaning after three nights and were told it would happen, but it never did. It didn’t happen after four nights either. The one room got cleaned once after five nights only when we paid the housekeeper cash.
The gym is a tiny joke. There’s a sign on the one, single treadmill saying it’s been out of order since December, and we commented regarding this problem in our review to Hilton about this hotel earlier this year. The water cooler in the gym was out of water with a sign saying to go to the front desk to get water. That’s a huge pain, and then when we went to the front desk, we were told we had to pay $1.50 per bottle of water because of “new management.” What a rip off!
Every time we went to the front desk, we had to wait a few minutes for somebody to emerge from the back room. Poor service!
We put the Do Not Disturb sign on our door (there was none in the room - we had to ask the housekeeper for one) the night after attending my mother’s funeral, and the housekeeper knocked on our door the next morning saying we had to leave by 11 am. When we asked the front desk about check-out time, they said in was noon. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.
Oddly, we received no guest survey about this stay from Hilton as we normally do, so this site is the only place we’re registering this complaint. This stay was not only disappointing, it was a disaster, at a time we really needed a comfortable stay. We feel like we were completely taken advantage of by a brand we normally trust. It feels like everybody who works at this hotel has simply given up.

I had a great stay at the hotel however, was greeted with a rude and extremely unprofessional manger (Lynn* unsure of her name) during checkout. While checking out I informed her that I had already provided my payment information and she insisted on placing additional charges on my room. I was “greeted” with by her calling me several different names which I found extremely disrespectful. This is certainly not the Hilton hospitality that I have been used to in the past. I will not be patronizing this Hampton Inn again.

Spent the weekend in Albany area and had a very early Monday morning out of Albany so that's the main reasons I picked up this hotel (I am also a HHonnors member and the ratings for this hotel were good).
I am used to Hampton Inn brand and I know they provide a good balanced offer for the money with decent free breakfast. Room was basic two queen beds fairly comfortable, flat screen TV with true HD channels. The room was smaller than I am used to it and wasn't that much space to move around. The shower was OK but the water was draining way too slow and at the end of the shower you are in a few inches of dirty soapy water.
Breakfast was OK, clean and decent area.
I am used to Hampton Inn brand and I know they provide a good balanced offer for the money with decent free breakfast. Reception staff was courteous, helpful and responsive. Thermostat battery was running low but they called maintenance who arrived quickly and replaced it.
Breakfast was good and typical. The toaster oven was not properly programmed and I did not see any staff down there. The place could also use another trash bin between the waffle maker and oats table.
These are minor quibbles/suggestions. Stay was good. I would visit again and recommend.

The website listed shuttle service to and from the airport. When I arrived I called for shuttle and ice told me that it was no longer being run. Although I saw Hilton Garden Inn‘s shuttle arrive and I spoke with that driver Who offered to wait for me if I wanted to cancel and rebook with Hilton Garden Inn which I couldn’t because I was outside of the cancellation window. But it was a corporate choice I was told by the Hampton Inn did not run it and I asked about the fact it was on their website it was told that they hear that all the time. So how strong is your satisfaction guarantee? It cost me $45 to and from the airport for shuttle service that was advertised for free, I ended up taking a taxi

I didn't do that but I would call ahead. They do have a shuttle.
The Wolf Rd location is less than 3 miles/ 10 minutes by car from the Albany Airport. The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from. If this is not acceptable there are a few more hotels in the area. Safe Travels
