Very clean & comfortable
We chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest hotels we could find in the area. We paid approximately $180 CAD for this hotel room for one night – which is a bit much but hotels are extremely overpriced in 2023, so this was a bit of a bargain.
The service was good – we had a fun interaction with the front desk person.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable – and the pillows were decent. WE asked for extra pillows but did not get them.
The bathroom was big and plenty of towels. The shower was high which is good for a tall people
The breakfast ended early and we decided not to partake – so we could get a little extra sleep.
It looked like it had a typical buffet style.
The pool was out of order when we were there.
There is plenty of onsite free parking.
Overall this is a decent place to stay without worry.

Very nice front desk help; lovely outside appearance; fair pricing; minutes from airport as this was purpose of stay. We did not partake of breakfast buffet but the area was very clean and inviting and smells were enticing. Definitely would stay again when needing flights out of Albany, NY

We spent one night here. Let me start off by complimenting the staff. I was traveling with extended family and had been told to book the airport hampton inn in Albany. Turns out there are two airport Hampton Inns in albany. Who knew? But the staff member immediately recognized the issue, called the other Hampton Inn, canceled that reservation and booked one at this hotel for us (our other family members had already checked into their room). So Kudos to the staff member.
The room was very clean, breakfast as expected and overall very nice. Only complaint is that the AC unit is very loud and kept coming on an off all night. Eventually we shut it off as it was impossible to sleep with the noise of it on/off, on/off, but then the room got hot.
Too bad the windows wouldn't open, as the outside air would have been sufficiently cool to let us sleep without AC.
If back in the area in non-summer time, I would stay at this hotel again.

Definitely not worth the money. I guess the high prices are because it’s next to the airport. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels. Won’t stay here a second time. Breakfast was a very poor turnout. No fruit whatsoever. No cheese, no ham. Very basic. Cheap cornflakes - pay for Kellogg’s management. Everyone knows cheap cornflakes taste crap. Breakfast was three choices of cereal but only two if you are like me and don’t go near the colored Cheerios that are full of crap. Only one choice of bread. White. Tiny amount of pastries (two types) that ran out way too quickly. Breakfast ended at 10am. At 10.02 they closed the doors but didn’t say to us “anyone want anything before we close up?” Even though we were all right near them. I didn’t want any more and just saying that I noticed it.
As for the rooms, bathrooms were nice but in need of maintenance. Our faucet fell off as did the toilet handle. Called down to front desk at 10pm when the toilet handle fell off and the guy on the desk said he’d have to come himself because there was no handyman around.
Housekeeping is “customize your housekeeping” which really means “we are spending as little as possible and you won’t know housekeeping doesn’t come unless you read the sign on the bathroom wall. I read it because I read everything but I thought that was very cheap. Having to request housekeeping.
The coffee and tea in the lobby were empty after breakfast and for the rest of the day until breakfast next morning.
Room seemed clean enough. Sound proofing from neighboring rooms was excellent. Could hear the im footsteps of people above but for me the room was quiet and well sound proofed. The blind was thick which meant blacking out the room was good.
Wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve had MUCH better breakfasts and toilet handles not breaking off at airport hotels the same price at this one and at hotels three times cheaper at non-airport hotels.

Got a rusty piece of metal in my foot off the carpet. Glad it wasn't one of my grandchildren. No concern for it by front desk.
Free breakfast was nice.
Pool was cloudy. No hot tub.

Oh my! I am so sorry that happened to you during your visit with us. I will have to speak to my weekend front desk agents about the incident. It sounds like my staff should of been more responsive to the injury. At the very least offered some assistance with a first aid kit to clean and bandage the foot. We have been having issues with balancing the pool chemicals lately. It was completely safe to swim in, but for what ever reason we can not get everything to sync together to obtain the crystal clear look it should have. I do apologize for the size of the pool towels we use them because they are cost efficient. We have tried nicer towels for the pool but, our inventory becomes depleted due to theft. I would love to have nice big pool towels for our guests, but the towels disappear very quickly. So, we have to resort to the small commonly used pool towels that most hotels use. Thank you for your feed back and I will share these comments with my staff.

Check in was rough. As the only person in front of the check in desk I watched as the two staff members carried out a personal conversation about one of those he members of management that works here. Instead of letting me know there was an issue with the computer i stood there anxiously waiting for a member of guest reception to greet me. This never happened.
I dropped my bags off and headed out for the evening once finally getting to my room. The next morning I noticed fecal matter speckled all over the wall behind the toilet. It was approximately 2-4’ above the floor. How is this even possible ? When brought to the attention of staff I was informed that “one time there was a guest...” just a really unnecessary conversation that did nothing to resolve my issue. Management was unavailable to hear my concern or the staff member at the front desk did not think it worthy of notifying the MOD of a health hazard.
The breakfast area was messy and unkept and missing many of the amenities that I have enjoyed previously at other Hampton locations.
All in all the lack of response from management and the absolute disgusting condition of the bathroom I would never recommend this location to anyone without a hazmat suit.

The front desk is typically far more professional than you describe, which makes it all the more disappointing to ear what you dealt with. Great hotel. Super clean. Staff was AWESOME and did everything they could to be accommodating. Everyone has different tastes and comfort levels and the staff were aware of this and went out of their way to meet all of our needs. We were a group of 11, all different ages and we were all happy.

We love our Hampton's, but have mixed thoughts on this one. Overall impression of the place is very clean as expected. Our first room, the bathroom was not cleaned. The toilet had hairs and dried urine on the edge of the bowl. There was also hair on the counter. The second room the handle was broke on the bathroom faucet and the shower was leaking. One of the beds had holes in the sheets. There were a number of water marks on the ceiling and a few stains on the floors. Other than that, the room was very nice looking at the stay was comfortable. I think the need a good service gal/guy and they would be set!
The pool area had 3 lounge chairs and 1 regular chair. The pool was large but it was difficult for large groups or a number of adults watching a large group of kids to enjoy themselves. It was also very loud with the echo's, but not sure it was in their control. The pool and surrounding area's was very clean.
The day before we arrived the area had experienced a snow/ ice storm. I feel like they should have been clearing the parking lot when no one was here around 11a-2p (yes checkin is at 2p nice perk) not at 10pm so needless to say the parking lot was a mess and very slippery.
The coffee was good, the free breakfast was awesome and I slept the whole night comfortably. A few finishing touches and this place has the potential to align with the other Hamptons we have stayed at.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about the issues you encountered in your rooms. Whereas we have a maintenance team member to address facility problems, we are facing the same delays in receiving parts needed to make many of the repairs we face. However, that is not an excuse for the problems in your room, we will make a greater effort to fix deficiencies prior to a guest's arrival. As for snow removal, it is not as easy as simply clearing the lot during 11am and 2pm. There were still a significant number of guest cars at that time, and the snow did not let up until well into the afternoon. I understand it may be an inconvenience, but it is a necessary part of our operations for snow removal to take place throughout the day and night. This was a particularly difficult storm, and I am sorry that our efforts did not meet your expectations, I will talk to our team about working harder to keep the lot and sidewalks clear during future snow events.

I had a great time at the hotel. Room was modern, clean and very spacious. The staff was attentive and willing to help. The only downside was the pool. When I walked into the pool, which is indoors the temp had to be at least 90. The sent tic the chlorine filled the room and after 20 mins I felt like I couldn’t breath and my eyes began to burn. The family was in the area for a funeral they also had booked rooms. They had small children with them that went into the pool. All the children after about an hour had to leave because their eyes burned from the chlorine. Management needs to check the chlorine levels. The kids vomited they whole night and spent the evening washing their eyes out with fresh water. I would definitely return, hoping they fix the chlorine issue in the pool.

Stayed two nights at this hotel from out of state to visit my son. Excellent service, very clean and was pleased on all levels with our stay. Many of the hotels competing are the same price and we will choose the Hampton Inn for our future overnights.

We do not have a wired option for our internet. Only wireless.
I'm sure the hotel can make arrangement for an early checkin once the circumstances are explained. I found the staff at this property to be very accomadating. As for the shuttle I do not know if they have one but a quick phone call could answer that question.

Unfortunately we only allow service animals at this property. We have a new Home 2 Suites by Hilton opening up on Wolf Road in May of 2015 that will be allowing dogs. We would love for you to try that property if you are back in the area. I apologize for any inconvenience.
