I stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Hotel just across from the Buffalo/Niagara International Airport on my last Stateside Trip.
The Fairfield Inns location is very convenient as it is very close to the New York State Thruway so you can travel in all directions with ease.
The hotel does provide an Airport Shuttle which is very useful as I needed to go to and from the airport several times during my three day stay.
The Front Desk Team were the most professional and friendly that I met during my seventeen day stay in the States.
I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice as I had two large suitcases which would normally fill a smaller room.
They serve a nice and simple hot breakfast each morning.
I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn and Suites Hotel if you find yourself in Western New York.

We stayed here recently before an early morning flight. The hotel is located directly across from Buffalo airport and our over night parking was complimentary. The room was clean and spacious. Our only criticism was the lack of dining options. We had hoped to relax with a drink and appetizers after checking in but the only option was a tiny self service snack bar with chips, beer, wine and pop. We had to walk about 10 minutes to another hotel to eat. The hot breakfast included in the price was terrible. Paper plates and plastic utensils, soggy scrambled eggs and Luke warm ham. Toast, cereal and coffee was all that was available for self serve. If having dinner and a decent breakfast are important to you look elsewhere otherwise for location a great pick.

I needed an overnight stay in a hotel near the airport. This one fit the bill nicely. Tucked away among a row of other hotels - the Fairfield Inn and Suites was very comfortable, quiet, and near coffee shops and restaurants. Bonus- a shuttle that left in the wee hours for the airport1

The staff was very helpful and the rooms were spotless and well-appointed.

I would've rated this a 4 based on our check in experience and the overall property however several issues affected my satisfaction. There was no soap in the bathroom either bar soap or shower gel so we had to call for some. It was delivered promptly. At breakfast the next morning there was no milk or decaf coffee available which is a huge issue if you can't have caffeine for medical reasons. It's not that they ran out of decaf but apparently didn't make any at all. They did offer to make it so I'm not faulting the staff's responsiveness. The one issue that was totally unacceptable however was the planned interruption of hot water from 9am to 3pm on the day were were checking out. We were never informed of this since we checked in two days previous and they only told guests who arrived the day before. There was supposed to be a note slipped under our door which did not happen. When I failed to get a response from the front desk to my phone call I went down which is when I saw the sign re: this issue there. Since we had no reason to be at the front desk the day before we would not have seen it. I feel a message on our room phone (where we would've seen a blinking light) or more signs throughout the property (possibly in the elevator) would've been more effective. We were forced to accept the fact that we could not shower or otherwise clean up before checking out. I was offered points on my rewards bonus but this did not replace the shower I planned on taking before traveling.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite as the website shows that it can sleep four adults. It definitely cannot. The pull out couch is more like a pull out chair with a paper thin mattress. Luckily a double queen room was available. I was able to get a refund for the difference in price after messaging the Marriott help on their website.

I don't know whete to start because our stay went from bad to real bad quickly. Check in was quick and staff on duty was friendly, upon entering our room 506, I could tell the floor had not been vacuumed as thier was dirt and what I assume a dead leaf on the floor. The wallpaper by the desk was yellowing from age or something else but what was really disgusting was the wine smell coming from the bed, my husband moved the bed and matress only to find the wall covered in dried red wine and it was all over the bottom mattress and sheets. On our way out to dinner we informed the front staff who apologized offered us a water or pop from the store and said they would send someone to clean it up. Unfortunately I can't tell you if the problem was fixed because upon returning from dinner we were greeted with the fire department and the fire alarms going off. This was not a hotel issue, we were informed that a guest had removed the smoke detectors from the room. It was taking a very long time to fix, by this time it was about 11pm and I have to give credit to the young man working he handled all the people very well and whoever wanted to go across to the other hotel was welcome too. We chose to go to tbe other hotel as we didn't know when the alarms would be turned off. I fully understand that the fire alarm was not the hotels fault, but the wine spill that was overlooked just left a bad taste in my mouth, if that was overlooked what else did the cleaning staff miss that we cannot see?

Hello VeraD235, We thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. Please accept my most sincere apologies for the cleanliness issues you found upon arrival in your room. I can understand the frustration this caused you and your husband and the questioning of the housekeeping staff. Your comments have been reviewed with the housekeeping leadership team who share my disappointment as one of our promises is to provide our guests with a hotel that is clean, fresh and reflects the highest quality standards. This will certainly be addressed with the housekeeping team. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank you for your kind comments about Nick. He handled a truly stressful situation with a calm demeanor. Your acknowledgment of this is absolutely appreciated. Although you did not receive our best during this stay, we hope you think of us again whenever your travels bring you back to the Buffalo/Niagara area. Should you be returning, please contact the hotel directly and ask to speak with me. I would be delighted to oversee your accommodations personally. Yours in Hospitality, Angie

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean and had plenty of space. Hotel was quiet and fairly new. Beds and pillows all were comfortable. Breakfast was offered and consisted mostly of pre-packaged things (such as muffins, instant oatmeal, yogurt, etc) , a few hot items , I’ve water, coffee and teas and fruit which seems typical given COVID. We were pleasantly surprised that anything was offered at all. Location was good and was very close to the airport and some fast food places/ restaurants. If I were in the area again, I’d go back.

BORDER CROSSING! I needed to cross at the border die to Covid restrictions in Canada. The hotel staff at check in and in the morning were great! The morning guy at the front desk recommended a taxi service that was Fantastic! (Frank at Airport Taxi Service) Frank drove me to my Drive-Through Covid test at Brighton-Eggert and back, then arranged another driver to take me across the border. Got my NAAT test result by email in just 40 minutes! Room was clean, etc etc. Due to Covid safety, The boxed breakfast is what it is - Can’t take away points because it’s not their normal business practice. It served its purpose giving me the fuel I needed to stay the day!

We booked a 2 night stay at the last minute after running into a problem at our previous hotel. It was kind of expensive for what it was. The room was nice, but simple. Bed was a little soft. Sheets provided were very thin and nothing in the way of a quilt or duvet. We had to request that separately from the front desk and it was provided. Hotel was very noisy the first night as it was busy and we were close to the elevator. Shower had good water pressure and temperature. Complimentary breakfast was provided on both days but we never made it due to timing. Free hot chocolate, coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby was a nice touch. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We would return again if in the area.

I stayed here for 2 nights on the 4th floor. The box breakfast could have offered some options for people with allergies. I have milk and nuts allergies. I ordered it the first night, but skipped the second night order. The fitness room was nice. I didn't get to enjoy the pool and hottub. I would stay here again. The fridge in the room was nice.
