There are numerous activities including swimming in a crystal clear lake, great canoeing, kayaking, hiking to Castle Rock, and visiting the nearby Adirondack Experience and Buttermilk Falls. The price of a cabin includes breakfast and dinner and is a remarkable value.
Great credit should be given to the new owners. Special praise goes to Chelsea Provost who warmly greets guests and seems to be always around to help guests in any possible way.
We cannot wait to return.

Classic Adirondacks Lodge also with cabins and motel. Immaculately clean, paint always fresh and clean, wood structures well kept, excellent food served family style, beach on Blue Mountain Lake and kayaks, canoes, tow boats for guests, less than 10 minutes from the Adirondack Museum. We are annual visitors.
Plan local hiking suitable to your abilities, and also water activities
We canoed 1 mile to the local town to get the newspaper
At night we were serenaded by loons and the milky way was magnificent
Prepare for rainy days at Adirondack museum 7 minutes away and wild center 40 minutes away and go to famous gereal store and restaurant Hoss 30 minutes away
There is no TV
We regretted not bringing our family
A bit rustic which is what we wanted
Waterfront is equipped with enough canoes kayaks sups and chairs for all but don't expect lifeguards. Signing out boats or instructions. You are on your own
Activities and swim area for kids are great
Rooms are clean and functional. Food is classic comfort cuisine. The bread is a signature item. Beach and boats are great. Adirondack camping with comfy beds and nice sheets.
We recommend the two-hour tour of Blue Mountain Lake that leaves from the boat livery in town. History and insights into the area are interesting; wild life and views are amazing.
Book early even in Covid times and check back
often as cancellations happen.
We plan to!
Anthony is in the “hospitality business,” but it’s very apparent that welcoming and serving his guests is his calling as well.
Anthony, the owner, and his staff couldn't be any kinder and accommodating. We will be back soon.
