Ok. Long story is that husband and I wanted to spend some time since no vacation this year. Blame Covid. I tried several hotels in the Corning/Bath area, all booked up. Possibly due to holiday weekend and near college town? Ended up booking this Days Inn without checking the reviews, thinking I was booking a chain hotel. I was shocked at the exterior then checked reviews. I requested to see the room before handing over my credit card. In the midst of this old run down hotel is a newly refurbished King room. Other reviews were bad! I can attest, the mattress is new. The room is clean. No bugs. No black mold. I will sleep well tonight. But this is no luxury hotel. Surprisingly, tonight the parking lot is quite full. Wonder what the other rooms are like.

It is now listed as 'Quality Inn' in Hotels.com. The Days Inn sign is temporarily covered with 'Quality Inn' sign, which finally , it will be. Rooms are getting renovated. Stayed in King Bed room#225 , the size is good! But there was no closet or place to hang clothes. Breakfast was nothing great. Staffs are really nice.

Hotel was easily accessible, had late night check in. Front desk staff very friendly. Hotel and rooms a bit dated, but comfortable overall. Did have clothing left behind door in bathroom from a previous visitor, which did make me question the attention given to cleaning.

You arrival I felt like either this was under going remodel or the interior must be a gem hidden in the rough exterior. There were people outside who appeared to be intoxicated/high, dogs wandering not on leashes, and the appearance of the facade was not welcoming. When we got inside the young man checked me in without explaining where the room was, where breakfast is, etc. The elevator has one call button to work both up and down calls. The elevator is also a little scary. The rooms are very outdated, yellowish, and unkept. We found garbage on the floor, lots of dust and bits of food/bug droppings! The bathroom was the worst because of the black mold. My mom has COPD and this causes a lot of coughing. Photos show the mold. The coffee pot was broken and even if we wanted to use it there were no cups to brew it into. The toilet ran all night despite out attempts to fix it ourselves. Several times we were downstairs and no one was at the front desk when people wanted to check in or had a question.
I see from other reviews that Bath is a dying town which explains the lack of sit down restaurants also. There are pizza places and fast food but nothing within 7 miles to sit down and have a steak or real pasta dish.
Recommendation: close it down!

Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. Location is good but that's about it. Key card didn't work in the first room they gave us, we were told "the room is used often so that's probably why", they gave us a different room and that key worked and then the key got deactivated when we left the room the next day. We were told not to eat the breakfast because it was horrible so we didn't even check it out.. room was filthy (see photos), conditioner was used, stained sheets. No one at the front desk to complain to either. Outlets so loose I had to prop a chair to keep my phone plugged in. Dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed. We paid a pretty penny for the weekend too. Will not return.

Was placed here for the night after a fire left me and other tenants of my building homeless. Half way through the night I find a bed bug crawling on me. Honestly wasn't shocked it's a known bed bug hotel anyways so went to check out In the morning Informed the front desk and didn't make a big deal out of it at all. Got to human services and they went to place me there again for the rest of the week due to the fire and the hotel turned me away because I reported the bed bug... They turned away a fire victim all because they informed them of a bed bug problem how messed up is that!!

The room was thoroughly inspected the next morning and no bugs were found and also the room was rented out, with no further bug complaints. I want to assure you that we are thoroughly investigating this claim and that although we have not found any evidence of a bug infestation, we are taking the necessary precautions to ensure that nothing is missed. I want to assure you that we respond promptly to pest alerts with expert extermination services and also treat to deter pests on a regular scheduled basis. We look forward to serving you again!

The hotel itself is dated and needs some freshening up, but the room was very good - restful, clean, with a big comfy bed. Everything was in working order. For the price that we paid ($108/night on a weekend) I think we got a deal. Good location - grocery store is just across the road, which is a definite plus.

We are delightfully surprised!! Do not trust your eyes if you drive past the quality inn. Part of it is shut down (possibly more renovation) and it looks discouraging. But the hallway, room, walls. All brand new! Room is immaculate! Bathroom is well lit and sparkling clean. We are just here for the overnight bit if we find ourselves this way again, Quality does not disappoint!!

A quick stop on our way to Niagara Falls. Clean and comfortable room. Good value for the price. Close to wineries and Keuka Lake. Quaint town for a quiet stroll. Chat-a-Wyle restaurant a nice place to eat.

Rooms were very clean. Front desk was friendly and aimed to please. Very surprised at the cleanliness. Would definately stay again. Easy to locate in Bath. Lobby had a very comfortable sofa and chairs. Actual room was clean. Towels were a little stained. A little bleach would fix that.
