Reserved online, check in at arrival was flawless, polite staff, very clean room, plenty of linens, microwave and fridge in room, WIFI. No major complaints, and all for $40 for two. Only con if I had to come up with something was that heat unit fan was a little noisey, my husband informed the staff who were not aware, said they would follow up.

Stayed for a night on my way to Corning Museum. Excellent staff and nice clean room. Seems like a family owned property. Feels good to support a hard working local non-corporate business. They seem to take care of the property well. WiFi worked great and small parking lot so very convenient to get to the room, don't have to carry around my luggage very far. Had a Flat Screen TV and HD channels, lot of other hotels i have stayed at usually have regular cable even on flat screen TVs so that's a plus. On top it seems like it was Direct TV so a lotta channels, watched some NBA play offs games. They do have a continental breakfast for summer season, the front desk told me they just started this month, it wasn't much but for the price, it wasn't bad.

I just recently stayed here at the Budget Inn in Bath NY. It is a nice small hotel and is very calm place. The service was great and the rooms are very nice.

I picked this motel/hotel because of TripAdvisor reviews, and I have to admit we were severely disappointed. It's true, it's very cheap. It cost us $47 a night for a room with two beds. I have no complaint that the room was small; -- it was clean, and that was what was important. But the bathtub wasn't. It looked like it hadn't been seriously scrubbed in a good while. In addition, the television reception was terrible. When you have two children in a room, this, too, becomes important.
btw, Bath is a hole. Yes, it is convenient to Corning and not too far from Niagara Falls, but deader than dead after nine. So make sure you eat dinner before then.

Budget Inns usually have a bad reputation, but this one is better than other ones I've stayed at. The rooms have been remodeled, the walls are cinderblock, and the lighting is not great, but it's clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night. At $55 per night, it seems to be the best deal in town. The location is good, across from a supermarket, but there is not much to do in the town itself. The lake and other attractions are short drive away.

We stopped here with reservations because of the lower price but soon found that higher cost doesn't always mean higher quality. The mattress was great, the room was clean and the man at front desk very well spoken and polite. When traveling all I want is a place to shower, sleep and I want it to be clean. While this is an older motel it met all my requirements at a higher standard than many have at much higher prices.

The place was cheap so we didn't expect a whole lot. I must say the room was clean, the mattress and pillows seemed new, very comfortable. The owners were very nice and helpful. There wasn't an ice machine. I went to the desk to ask where it is and they gave me a small bag of ice. It was enough for 2 days though. A place to sleep and shower which was enough for us. I would stay there again.

We stayed here early December cause it was late and we did not want to drive and further. We tried looking for a hotel that wasn't too expensive since we were not staying for too long. When we first arrived at the Budget Inn we did not expect the quality that they have was at. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The room seemed to be newly renovated and were very comfortable. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Budget Inn and we will come here to stay again.

The Budget Inn looks fairly dumpy from the street, especially when compared to the Days Inn next door. However, the owner was friendly, the common areas were renovated, the hot water worked and the room was clean. My only real complaint was that the room had an old-style TV that had a lousy picture. But for this price, you are not going to get perfection. Recommended with a "very good" rating for those on a budget

Needed a place to rest our heads after a long road trip and this place was just right. It's got everything necessary for a comfortable overnight stay including a refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were super comfortable so we were well-rested and ready to start the next part of our trip.

"We have always stayed on the first floor and have been there in the Spring and Fall when windows are closed and no A/C needed. If there have been residents above us, we have not heard them. We have stayed on the highway/street side and have not noticed the highway/ street noise."Read full review
