From stepping off the plane, our greeting and the service we experienced was so warm and friendly …. The whole experience felt personalised whether at 4.00am to deliver us to our next destination or at dinner after a long day “tracking” in such a beautiful location … Very comfortable private accommodation … excellent food served with care and a smile …

The game viewing in this park was incredible (not that we have anything to compare it to) but Laz and Zeb went out of their way to find the very best viewing for us. Little bush camp is so peaceful and relaxing and the food was plentiful and of a great standard, the varied dining areas each nice was much appreciated. Would highly recommend and would love to return

We travelled to Sabi Sabi during August 2023, splitting 4 nights into 2 at Little Bush Lodge and 2 at Earth Lodge in the south. Little Bush is our first stop and set up the high standards of our whole stay. We were welcomed by the whole team at the front door of the lodge, which is actually a tree as the lodge is completely immersed or even hidden within nature. Each of the six suites is well appointed and so comfortable, from the living room area to the outdoor shower. And dining experience is more than nice food here, one night they decorated the dining area and put a fireplace to keep us warm and create us a romantic atmosphere. Regarding safaris, I believe it delivers the standard of Sabi Sabi, which of course is top within the industry. The four lodges of Sabi Sabi share the area and sightings, sometimes guides and trackers move around lodges to fulfill any needs. We get Creamson and Zulu as our guide and tracker, and were amazed by their understanding of the area and their passion to always find the best for us. Sightings of the four drives: Souther pride of lions, 3 Leopards, 2 crashes of White Rhinos, Buffalo and Elephants herds with babies. We also did a walking around the lodge with Creamson, and we approached five rhinos on foot, the same crash of rhinos we met from previous day’s drive. They seem to not have moved for those days, unreal experience! Overall, fantastic experience with Sabi Sabi’s reputation proved plus warm atmosphere like a family.

What a spectacular stay. This venue will impress you on all levels. Anton and Laura's attention to detail is exceptional. Our guiding team of Will and Nhlanhla were phenominal. The camp staff will give spectacular service. The setting is ideal. If you are staying at SabiSabi, strongly consider staying here.

Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp has just six rooms and was absolutely amazing from arrival through to our sad departure. We had driven our hire car to camp from Hazyview (using the lodges directions found on their website) and the drive was definately quite easy using those directions. We had not driven ourselves anywhere in Kruger or surrounds before but would now do so again in the future. All the other guests seemed to have transfers arranged. The lodge was really beautiful and our room was also very well designed and comfortable. Laundry was available with items returned later the same day. The food and drink in the room, dining area and on safari was amazing and plentiful, we ate soo much! We dined with other guests from our safari vehicle on some occasions and sometimes just on our own. Every single member of staff were so friendly, professional and looked after us so well with nothing being too much trouble. Our safari guide, Dieter and tracker, Mfundo worked very well together and resulted in us seeing some great wildlife. We would not hesitate in recommending Little bush Camp and its wonderful staff to anyone as a quality place to stay and experience a great safari.

My husband and I enjoyed 4 wonderful nights and 3 magical days at Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp. From the moment we met our pilot, Sebastian, at the airport prior to him flying us to the SS field, to our last moment Zeb drove us back for our departure, everything surpassed our expectations. The staff, the accommodations, the food, and OH the animals! The chalet was bush luxury, we did not want for a single thing at any point. Anton and his staff are absolutely top-notch. Lazarus and Zeb were our ranger and tracker, and boy, did they deliver! I simply can not adequately express how much I enjoyed the experience and learned so much about the animals, the topography, the vegetation. When the weather did not cooperate the lodge was ready with ponchos and blankets, not just any poncho and blanket, but quality, the rain and cold did not stand a chance against them. I only have one regret and that is we did not stay nearly long enough. BUT!..... we will return and I hope to see each one that made our experience one of the best of my life!

Absolutely amazing. We only stayed three nights but I wish we’d had a fourth night. Staff is truly wonderful and the chef is amazing. The food was divine. We had Dieter and Mfundo as our team on the game drives and they are spectacular. I can’t say enough positive things about this place and hope I am able to go back again.

It’s been about a week since our 4 night stay to cap off our honeymoon and we are missing it so much. This was our first big international trip together and first time going to safari. It was so much more than we could have imagined! We flew into Skukuza airport and were greeted by Dieter who helped us start our journey. We sadly discovered one of our suitcases didn’t arrive but reassured us to coordinate with the manager upon arrival at LBC. Little did we know, Dieter is one of the Guides/Rangers at LBC and during our travel from the airport to the lodge, we saw animals immediately. Surprisingly, we first saw the 2 Gijima male lions! The kings of Sabi Sands we were told. What a start to the trip! Barely outside of the airport and we’re already seeing so much. We arrived at the Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp and were greeted by Lawrence and Katlego with drinks and warm washcloths to get situated. The lodge itself is beautiful and inviting. Lawrence talked us through the logistics/rules of our stay, safari drive schedule, meal times and also helped me with my lost luggage. He reassured us it would get on the flight to Skukuza the next day. The chef greeted us personally and inquired if we had any dietary restrictions. We had lunch where we had the pleasure of Mumsy and Doctor serving us. They took such good care of us and the food was delicious. Feeling like royalty here! Checking into our room and it is so much more than the pictures. You have your own 1 bedroom spacious unit/suite with a king bed, desk, fully stocked mini bar, private deck with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower. The ensuite bathroom has both an extra large tub, standing shower with rain shower head, double vanity and doors back to your private deck. The decor and style blends in with the environment of being in the African bush. Everything you need to have a private, romantic and intimate state of luxury for our honeymoon. All of our safari drives were guided by our Ranger, Dieter, and Tracker, Mfundo. This is one dream team! We had probably a total of 7 drives and saw so much. These 2 have a brilliant way of communicating to each other (both verbal and non-verbal) to ensure we were able to get the best experience as possible. It was incredible to witness how much they coordinate together. All 4 of the Sabi Sabi lodges had drives on the same schedule and the Rangers would communicate over the radios. Therefore all guests truly benefit from it and you will see so much on each drive. Dieter and Mfundo are so knowledgable and you can tell how much passion they have for what they do. We enjoyed learning from them while we observing the wildlife. We also got so close to the animals. Some were on the roads and some going off road. Dieter and Mfundo know how to read the animal behavior and terrain to ensure our safety. They also told us of the extensive training they have to get in pursuing employment at Sabi Sabi. They also informed us of the ways they practice ecotourism. There’s a beautiful balance to see these animals but also how Sabi Sabi respects nature and the balance of it all. Each drive we would have a break in the middle (coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening). It offered a nice opportunity to take a break, stretch our legs and chat amongst our group. All of our meals were deliciously and exquisitely prepared for us. Mumsy, Doctor, Samson and Tshwarelo pampered us so much, we felt so special. We would have some meals in the main lodge and some out in the bush! The full bar was impressive! A lot of high end liquor and wine were included. The wine list was very large and has so much to offer. Mumsy and Doctor caught on quickly that I liked spicy food and always brought me chopped chilis with every meal. <3 Dinners outside were our favorite with a warm fire by our side. We had an outdoor dinner with our group and Dieter hosted that evening. It was the best! Great conversation, great company and amazing food/service. We may be biased but we think we had the best group during our stay :) We also had the opportunity to take the Community Tour. The Sabi Sabi Foundation aims to give back and supports the local communities on several projects. It was very eye opening to witness some of them in person. Clerence was our guide as he is the Community Liaison Officer of the foundation and leads some of the other projects. He gave us a lot of insight of the community, its challenges and how the foundation is helping to solve them. We also learned a lot about their culture and practices. There is so much we learned on our tour and would suggest seeing more of this incredible work at sabisabifoundation.org You can probably tell from this review we felt like Sabi Sabi LBC was another home to us. They welcomed us so much we felt part of their family. They have something quite magical here. The people, the environment, the relationships, who they are and what they do offers more than I could describe. The other couple’s in our group have been to other safaris and admitted that Sabi Sabi is by far their favorite. It tops all of their other experiences. This was the last leg of our honeymoon and couldn’t think of another way to end the trip. This truly grounded us, get back to nature and connect with everything/everyone around us. Our last night they surprised us with our room filled with rose petals, tea lights and bottle of champagne by our jacuzzi. Going above and beyond to make us feel special and relaxed during this special time our newly married life. Thank you THANK YOU Lawrence, Tshwarelo, Katlego, Dieter, Mfundo, Mumsy, Doctor, Samson and the rest of the staff at Little Bush Camp! We were sad to leave but can’t wait to come back!

Best 3 1/2 days of our vacation. The staff were friendly and very welcoming from the minute we stepped from the plane. They kept the kitchen open to prepare a late lunch for us. This is a small cozy lodge with 7 huts. You get to know everyone quickly sharing safari trucks and meals. Seelo, our guide, and Sampson, our tracker, provided excellent information on each animal as we drove amongst them. We came within less than 10 feet of elephants, lions, leopards, African buffalo, white rhinos, cheetah, zebra, wild dogs, antelope, kudu, and even the rare pangolin just to name a few. Seelo shared how each animal depends on each other and their benefits to the environment. The sunrise and sunset drives were beautiful and included a coffee in the morning and happy hour at sunset. The food is world class. Dinner was a different location each night, including an African bbq. Chef went above & beyond with each meal and high tea. From our initial greeting from Lawrence and Katlego, to our meal servers, Nommy and Doctor, to Theresa, who cleaned our hut and did our laundry and definitely our guide and tracker, Seelo and Sampson, we were treated like family. No one ever said no to any request or question. Highly recommend this Lodge and its entire staff.
