Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

11:30am....none of the workers came in to work this morning at the bar n grill restaurant so we're sitting here playing poker & can't even get a drink. As it is the service is terrible, even worse on Sundays! Such a nice place with terrible workers! No ethic, rude, and unprofessional! This is repeat experience, SMH!

We have stayed several times and have never been disappointed in our room. They are comfortable, clean and roomy. (They do need to clean the bathroom vents but it didn’t affect our stay.) We had an extra charge that was not on our original statement. When I questioned it, I was told it was taxes that were not added on originally. ?? That’s why the 4 stars instead of 5.

Where should I start? For the amount of money that we spent on a deluxe suite lake view, we were shocked at what didn't work in our room. For starters, you can only order in room dining on an iPad. The iPad doesn't work in our room. The TV in the master bedroom doesn't work either. So instead of waiting for Technology to come and fix the iPad at 9 o'clock at night, we had to get dressed and go outside to get food and bring it back. We thought we were going to be able to watch TV when we got back in the bedroom, but we were sadly surprised that the TV was still not working. When I called to speak to someone in recreational services, they gave me the runaround. We finally got a hold of the front desk and asked a manager to call back. We got a call back from someone who wasn't the manager and told us that the only way that the manager would call us is if Technology would go and check if the room actually had an outage in the TV, master bedroom and on the iPad. So we let IT come to our bedroom at 10:30 at night, even though we normally go to bed at 9 PM. This was ridiculous!

This is our second family trip to the Inn. We come do relax and go to Ski Apache. Rooms are clean. Love the robes! Emma, the Inn’s shuttle driver, did amazing getting us up and down the snow covered mountain roads. Highly recommend! We will be back again.

My family decided to stay at Inn of the Mountain Gods the day after Christmas to do some family snow activities. The hotel was understaffed and completely booked. Upon receiving our room, we were downgraded to a standard room with limited view from a superior with mountain view. We were willing to overlook that. The shower was clogged and was full of an oil. It was so disgusting. Front office was rude and condescending. Unwilling to switch out our room to one with a functioning shower and didn’t send maintenance after the plumber finished. Not to mention that the rooms are filthy and haven’t been dusted in a while. Gross just gross.

Absolutely horrible check in experience. Check in at 3 and as of right now its 6:00 Pm and our room STILL is available. No one at front desk can gives us an estimated time. And are very rude. Only say "we dont guarantee check in at 3" and walk away. They will however charge you more if check out is not EXACTLY AT 11 AM. I even mentioned traveling w a special needs child and they couldnt care less. Very, very ,very RUDE and disrespectful. But they sure are quick to charge us BOTH rooms right away and the extra $250 per room for deposit AND $50 per room for incidentals....as i sit in the lobby waiting for my room. RIDICULOUS. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

Very comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating was that the check-in person was very businesslike, with hardly a smile, and the server in the Tap Room, though very friendly, disappeared for a long while and we had to ask another server for our check.

We had a lovely stay at the resort. Our room was HUGE and had a beautiful view of the Lake/mountains. The Casino was so clean and the slots paid out for me each night! The Food Court and Broken Arrow restaurants were great....excellent friendly helpful staff and yummy food! Wendell's Lounge was very nice and bartender Patrick was terrific! We could not have had a nicer experience. Check-in was timely, we arrived at 4pm and our room key was waiting for us. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. Every staff member we interacted with was cheerful and happy to help. It was a fabulous experience at the resort and we will definitely be back!

We have visited IMG for years, starting when we lived in Texas. We now live in Arizona and continue our annual summer visits to golf and our friends enjoy the casino. Something happened to the rooms this time. Our 'luxury' room was large but empty except for the bed and two chairs. Furniture gone. Used to be comfortable chairs. And the closet has disappeared! We stayed four nights and have to bring golf clothing and dinner clothing and NO PLACE to hang clothes. The "closet" was about 18" wide. We had to take out the ironing board and hang our clothing on that. This is unacceptable in a hotel as nice as IMG (used to be). Our friends said the same. Huge rooms with no furniture to speak of. And no closet space. Please fix this. #2 - no daily cleaning service which is ok, but should be able to have extra trash liners on hand. Ran out of clean towels after our 4 night stay. Ran out of coffee as well. No way to get a response for refills. Had to snag supplies off the cleaning cart in the hallway. We love visiting IMG, but help! Fix the issues! Thank you. Paul and Ann Conner

Awful. The price does not reflect the condition of the greens. To charge full price is shameful. Cut down all the trees in the middle of the fairways. The staff didn't seem to care, they're probably underpaid.
