My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and then returned for another two nights at the end of our stay in Bali. The location is great, being a quick ten minute walk to Seminyak beach and being just around the corner form shops and convenience stores. The staff are all very friendly and the service is excellent. The breakfast was good and good value at IDR 100,000 per person. We had two lunches there as well, which were good. The rooms are small but have everything you need and were served everyday. The main pool is clean and refreshing but is very close to the restaurant and reception area but this is not uncommon for hotels in heavily built up south Bali. Given what we paid, which was about $NZ 50.00 per night this is a great value 3 star hotel experience. 5 stars.

This hotel was lovely. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was clean and spacious and was cleaned every day. The breakfast was cooked fresh and plenty of it as well. Fresh juice is available as well as tea and coffee. There is also live music playing a traditional Balinese instrument which imroves the ambience. The hotel is in a great location. To bars restaurants and the beach also. If I return to Bali I'd definitely stay here again. Great little hotel. A little tip. Download the Gojek app for taxis. We went everywhere in Bali for about £2 max per trip.

One of the hidden gems in Bali. The hotel is a modern Balinese boutique hotel with a very competitive pricing. The breakfast has an ample serving of both Balinese and western cuisines. It is conveniently located near the beach and restaurants and shops. We also tried their signature Balinese costumes for free. We were assisted by Lilik and Rista. They were so patient with our group of 14pax donning the costumes and taking our photos too. We had a memorable stay at the Horison hotel. More power! Terima kasi!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Their kindness and attentiveness were beyond expectations. The breakfast is a must—true local flavors, a refreshing bok choy and lemon detox drink, and the best sambal!
The beds were comfy, WiFi was great, and the pool was lovely—a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Lilik, a beautiful soul, made sure I felt special and even captured moments for me. When my sister got sick, they noticed her absence at breakfast and personally brought her a meal—such thoughtful service! A musician even took time to teach me a tune, making the stay feel truly immersive.
A special highlight was my grandmother’s birthday, where the staff helped me create a traditional offering in her honor—an unforgettable moment.
Areas for improvement? The bar is limited, and drinks were weak. The “free daily mini bar” is misleading—it’s just two beers and two waters. Thankfully, we could swap for extra water.
Overall, this hotel is perfect for solo travelers or families looking for a stay filled with genuine care, great amenities, and memorable experiences. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed my experience at this hotel! The customer service is fantastic (they're very accommodating) and the rooms have everything you need. Plus, the location is great - under a 10-minute walk to Seminyak Beach and close to tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. From the moment the door was opened by the doorman till the manager coming to wish us goodbye and a safe journey home the staff were fantastic. The rooms are lovely and very clean with a king or twin beds. They have lounge chairs on the beach with free WiFi so you can just watch the world pass you by. The pool was wonderful and just what you need after a day shopping or sightseeing. The shops are a minute down the lane with restaurants and cafes for a tasty iced coffee or pastry. I had a funtastic time and am heading back next year.

Pros: Location near to the beach, 5 minutes walk to double six beach Price of the food on the resfaurant reasonable and taste good.
Cons: Cleanliness. In the room and also around the hotel area including swimming pool. I ask to change the bed cover on the next day, because it looks so dirty. Ask the room service to clean the bathroom also. The breakfast was ala carte not buffet. Has to improve in term of security of the hotel as i got the room on the first floor. Room was too small.
Consider the price, i think the hotel is overprice, we can get hotel with better service, clean, and spacious room around the location. I am not consider to be back again.

Travelling with a toddler, we had our concerns about how comfortable our stay would be for her and our family, but the staff exceeded our expectations.The receptionists, the restaurant team, and the room service staff at this hotel are absolutely exceptional. They all worked hard to ensure that our stay at this hotel was the best they could provide for us.
The food was delicious, especially at breakfast, and was very filling. We booked a family suite, which was very comfortable to stay in with kids.
One more experience definitely worth mentioning is the opportunity they provide, free of charge, to be able to dress in the traditional Balinese costume. Special thanks to Lilik who worked quickly to dress us and took our photos beautifully. She was so friendly and made sure we enjoyed the experience.
We definitely would have booked for longer if we could have, to enjoy more of their facilities we were unable to experience such as the pool and the painting classes. Needless to say we definitely will be booking a stay here again during the next time we’re in Bali.
