To be fair the staff were nice, and accommodated us enough but the stay was very interesting and not in a good way. If your looking for a hotel with old vegetables served at breakfast and cold food bland food then your in luck. Not to mention the thousands among hundreds of mosquitos that surround you no matter where you are. Not to mention that if you get a room with a private pool, you can not swim in it because it has little disgusting bugs infesting throughout it. We were also lucky to be woken up at 5am with loud banging noises and the sounds made by a school near by. The best part is how safe and easy it is to get to Seminyak, you just have to cross the dangerous roads with very little pathway and avoid getting hit by a scooter or car. Their is no pathway at all so it would be very easy to get hit if your walking so you have to take a taxi. Dream Villas? maybe your it's called this because your dreaming you were somewhere else while staying here because it's that bad.

My experience.... Checked in during the day for a month-long work-cation. First, wanted to have a quick instant coffee. There was an electric kettle so...awesome. There's 3 plugs in the kitchen. First try: kettle's cord is too short to use one of the plugs up high against the kitchen counter. No problem. There's two more near the floor. Cord's still too short to put the kettle anywhere so I just put it on the floor. After a few minutes, I realize nothing's happening. So I check the plugs with other items like my laptop. No power. Great. Next, I see a bank of light switches above the refrigerator. Wanna turn on the ceiling fan to get some circulation. A quick jolt of electricity zaps me and tells me that there's something wrong with the switches. No problem again, I'll report that later. Wanna take a shower before bed but there's no towels. Call the staff and wait for towels. I wake up the next day and try to make my daughter's breakfast. The place advertised a full kitchen but there's a couple pots and a pan that look like they were picked up on the side of a road somewhere. A handful of forks/spoons and a lot of coffee mugs. Plates to serve large dishes only. Not normal plates. So I make some eggs and sausage in a real small pan using a fork and use the coffee mug saucers as plates. Later, some staff arrives to fix the electrical issue. Power plugs in the kitchen are working but now there's an electrical current running through the water in the downstair's toilet's sink. As I'm washing my hands in the sink, I feel a decent jolt of electricity running through the water and have to warn my family to not use the sink. We report this one also and according to the staff, it doesn't happen to them despite me checking this right before writing this review. At least the power plugs work now so I plug in the electric kettle for some instant coffee. I can hear that it might be working but after several minutes, the water's still not hot. Great. The thing has power now but it's in about as good a shape as the pots and pan. So I just decide to boil water on the range and do it that way. I look for water and there's a few small water bottles the staff will leave. Nothing more. The last villa we were in supplied plenty of water (why did I leave that place??). The villa is on a street with heavy motorbike traffic at all hours. It also appears to be a favorite spot for stray dogs and.....a rooster. All throughout each night, there's the constant drone of motorbike engines, dogs barking.....and that rooster. If you intend to come here, might I suggest finding a soundtrack of motorbike engines, dogs barking....and a rooster, mix them together, and listen to that on headphones all night, every night before arriving. If you can acclimate yourself to that prior to arriving and somehow have success sleeping through that, you'll do just fine here. As I mentioned, the stay was a work-cation. I was going to do some work during the day and enjoy Bali when I could. The place advertised "Free High Speed Internet (WiFi)". I suppose it all depends on your definition of "High Speed". We had just left a villa with 70Mbps which was pretty good. The first day, I experienced 3Mbps downstairs and 1Mbps upstairs. If your work depends on the occasional email and that's it, then you'll be OK. If you have an actual job or depend on decent connectivity to do your basic work, you'll be sorely disappointed. We asked about this and next day, we got a new user id/password to use for the same WiFi SSID and got speeds to 8Mbps. Better...but still. The staff arrives early to clean which is OK. Around 930am they'll come and have a handful of people cleaning your villa. They'll sweep and clean the outdoor kitchen ... with their shoes on. Meaning that although they'll sweep, there's an ever-present layer of sand and dirt on the floor which just seems to follow you everywhere you walk. Upstairs in our bedroom's toilet, the sink won't drain. It'll be plugged up with something each day meaning there's really no sink. There's a lot of housekeeping staff that comes here each day...I don't really follow them around...but they have to see it...right? I mean...don't they? With everything else needing attention, this one has slipped our minds each morning but we know they go in there. We know the sink is half-filled with water that won't drain. And we know they either ignore it or just hope it goes away. After a couple more complaints about the noise...the faulty electricity...the 'high speed' wifi, the broken items, we get our unhappiness resolved with....drumroll....1 free breakfast. Awesome. I don't eat breakfast, our daughter is too young to eat much, and my wife usually picks at a small breakfast anyway. The place advertises a free breakfast too...but....I don't question all that since all our questions and complaints are met with a big smile and some version of 'you can't get there from here'. There's plenty of villas to rent in Bali but this one....I'd stay away from. You'd really need to ask yourself a few questions if you needed to stay here. If all the below are 'yes', then by all means, make your reservations and enjoy! 1. Will you spend every minute of non-sleep outside the villa? 2. Do you anticipate consuming huge quantities of alcohol such that 'sleep' will be more like '8 hours of passed out'? (cuz...you know....motorbikes...dogs....and a rooster). 3. Do you enjoy the challenge of making broken things work? 4. Have you been tazered by law enforcement in the past and enjoyed it? Or, do you enjoy the suspense of wondering if you'll ride the lightning when you put your hands on a light switch or into running water? 5. Do you have nostalgia for 90's style intermittently working and slow internet?

We stayed in Bali Dream Villa for 2 nights with our friends.Every Villa has its own swimming pool with a small outdoor kitchen.Rooms were big and comfortable. They didn’t have any kitchen of their own so we had to order food from outside, which was quite convenient. My problem was with the staffs ,they were not friendly at all and the villas are quite far from the beach.Overall our stay was ok.

The Bali dream villa was exactly that. With 4 adults in a 2 bedroom villa with private pool was divine. A stones throw from bustling Seminyak Square, with enough restaurants, nail and massage places all in walking distance. I’d highly recommend.

We stayed there from 10th Feb to 13th Feb 2020. The property was good with nice ambience and privacy. However, there are two things for which I would not like to recommend this hotel. Firstly, due to my theft experience. When we returned to hotel on the night of 11th Feb, My partyware expensive shoes were missing which I immediately brought to the notice of the hotel management. They were more interested in putting the blame on us rather than accepting the theft even after I allowed them to check my luggage thrice. Also I showed them the shoes on their security camera footage of the day before the theft. They did not take any responsibility of their dishonest staff. The second reason is that there are too many mosquitoes that you can not dare to sit in the dining room or outside your bedroom.
