Room was average, but television was oriented so that only one person could watch at a time. Fan noise very loud and woke us up every time it roared on or turned off. Breakfast selections very limited.
Final cost of room was $193.72, but $220 was charged to credit card, so I had to follow up with that. I don't need this kind of grief when travelling.
There was a tiny gym (AC was broken and it was sweltering) and a heated indoor pool (hot tub out of commission). The breakfast was almost inedible if you are looking for low carb options (although the oatmeal looked tasty). The bed was not the best, the TV didn’t seem to work. The market was not well stocked - no food or bar on site either.
I paid $420 for a 2-br suite, which really didn’t seem worth it, especially for a hotel on the highway.
I had a room block for my wedding and almost 30 rooms were booked under my block. There were several issues on my wedding day. This should have been a seamless day.
I booked a double room so that my bridesmaids and I could all get ready together on wedding day. On my wedding day, the staff asked us if we would be willing to give up our room because they double booked. I declined, but it was unbelievable that they would ask the bride to give up her room. I cannot fathom how they overbooked when we had a room block in place to avoid this. They also asked a few of my guests to give up their rooms for the same reason.
My bridesmaid booked a room for the night before and of wedding day. This was supposed to be the same room, because why would she change rooms after one night? They made her switch rooms nonetheless. Once I checked into my room on wedding night, we realized it was the very room they kicked her out of. It even said “Good morning, 'her name'” on the television. Not only was this inconvenient for her, it was not the room that was promised to me and my husband. We were promised the “honeymoon suite” with a fireplace.
I was also promised there would be three shuttles for my event, and there was only ONE. For all of my guests, there should have been the expected three shuttles. When deciding which hotel to choose, I toured the hotel and was told there would be three shuttles. This was very disappointing, as I had to wait for the shuttle to come back on my own wedding night.
I was so excited to book with the Residence Inn because the property was nice and shuttles were included, however I was extremely disappointed and upset with the way everything turned out.
