Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First off, the room and bed are ok, typical mold / dirt in corners of shower - standard for this price range and brand. Had a room on the second floor, sounded like a heard of elephants above starting at 4am, I could also hear the person on the phone in the room next to me like I was in the same room, lacking any tyoe of sound proofing or insulation. If you have to stay here make sure you are on the third floor.
Hi Speed Wifi for memebers didn't work, had to use the dial up speed version. Not a place you will get work done. What others said about the location is spot on, tough to find.

Also, Courtyard please pass on the canned response. Unless you tear the hotel down and rebuild it with concrete floors instead of wood there isn't anything you can do.

Two forms of GPS may be necessary in finding this property! Why on Earth would they build a hotel buried behind office complexes, I don't know. But, if you find it, a decent hotel! Like all Courtyards, no included breakfast, everything comes at a price.
The room was nice, but my problem with this hotel is the location. If you want to go out to eat, you will need a car as this place is the last stop on the tracks, surrounded by offices and highways. No good walking available. Doubt we would stay here again. Good if you work in the nearby offices.

After reading reviews I almost didn’t go in. I’m glad I did go. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was new and squeaky clean. Courtyard room on 3rd floor had minimal road noise, though walls are definitely thin. Staff were excellent and the food was perfectly fine - nothing special but definitely good and saved me getting into the car to find food.

Location of this hotel is challenging. If you are driving in traffic, chances are that you will miss the turnoff. We had to get off of one freeway and then switch over three lanes to get to the turnoff. Kind of surprised they could get zoning to okay the location. It's in a business park.
Walls are thin. So you can hear what's going on in other rooms. Our room on the second floor was right over an HVAC system and it felt like we were on a runway with the level of noise from this piece of equipment. We could have definitely asked for a different room, I realize that. But, it was late at night and we were tired. You can also hear the freeway noise.
We asked for bed linens to be changed and they did not honor the request. Front desk said that there were no notes on our record about it, so I had to make up the bed myself.
There was no food for breakfast. I realize it's the end of the pandemic, but we have been staying in hotels for the past few months and every Hyatt and Marriott we stayed in had a grab and go. This place had coffee, and that was it.
Our shower was modern, the kind with a piece of glass, but no door. So water from the shower went all over the floor.

Dear Colcarken, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We really appreciate you staying with us and value your opinion. It seems that you did not enjoy your stay and I really want to apologize about your experience with us. I can understand that it New Jersey highways could be difficult to navigate through. In the future, please try using Google maps or Waze as they both have directions to our front door. We have added several food and beverage items at our Bistro during the morning and at night. We also have our market that is open 24hrs where you can purchase meals, snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. For added benefit, we had also partnered up with UberEats where you can earn Marriott Bonvoy points when you use the app and deliver to any Marriott property. I will also share your experience with us with my team members so that this may not occur in the future. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to connect with me directly. Once again, thank you and safe travels. Maged M. General Manager.

We were a part of 8 rooms reserved for our grandson’s wedding. When we checked in we gave our name and said what wedding we were a part of. They said no wedding group by that name was on record but they did find our reservation by our name. The refrigerator in our room would not stay on, my son’s room flooded and they had to be moved! We were told that the outside courtyard was not available after 10 for fires or gatherings. The next morning our group met in the courtyard and there was bottles and garbage everywhere and several of our group reported that there were people in the courtyard until 3 AM keeping everyone with a courtyard room awake! We stayed an extra night and we were quoted a cheaper price for the third night but when we checked out it was a different price entirely! Only breakfast options were from a Starbucks in the lobby that was expensive and the pool was closed because of Covid we were told but everything else in the hotel was completely open! Lots of money for minimal service and quality!

Very much appreciate the front desk team, they are courteous and helpful, and provide a caliber of service above what you might expect at a Courtyard property. The entire hotel is very clean - lobby, eatery area, main lobby restroom and of course our room. While the hotel might lack beautiful surroundings - it is tucked away behind an office building - the courtyard out back is very nice with garden and seating areas! Many, including us, will find it a very convenient location with the Willowbrook shopping mall and countless other stores & restaurants literally minutes away, and easy access to/from Rts 46, 3, 80 and Garden State Parkway. I’m sure we will be back!

I had a work event to attend nearby. The room layout and size were excellent, and the beds were comfortable. However, the hotel location leaves much to be desired unless you are there for meetings in the office park in which it is located. Otherwise, to get anywhere requires getting on the highway. You can not walk anywhere. Also, the lighting in the room, especially in the hallway and bathroom, are very poor, and the water pressure in the shower is terrible. The room was clean except for the bathroom, which had mildew - See the attached photos.

I've been staying here 3 out of the last 4 weeks and I only stay here for thr proximity of work. Here are some of the issues I've experienced.

Week 1: housekeeper left deadbolt unlocked and my room was open when I got back to the hotel. I alerted the hotel via bonvoy app and they apologized and offered 2 drinks and some points.

Week 2: I gave the front desk agent my corporate credit card to use as the card on file but they ended up charging my personal card which was my default card. I called that same day I checked out to charge my corporate card but they never followed up. My neighboring room was watching TV at full volume so and I let the front desk know and they called the room. They turned the TV down but I could still hear their TV which means the walls are very very thin. Terrible if you are a light sleeper like I am.

Week 3: I checked in asking if they were able to charge the correct card from my last stay and a bald man who was the front desk agent was extremely rude to me about it. I told him I handed the agent my card and assumed she scanned but and he told me she didn't so there's nothing he could do. I also asked why I haven't been receiving my bonus points from booking the additional 2000 points per night rate and he told me to take it up with marriott corporate.

We arrived at this newish courtyard property after a family funeral. Room looked nice until that night when saw a live silverfish moving across the bathroom floor. Also found small ants in one of the beds. The front desk staff member apologized and offered us another room subject our approval. That room had red stains on the carpet near the bed. Yet another room was tried but this too had stained carpet and evidence of bugs.
After all that they refunded our stay and assisted us in finding alternate lodging.

This was so disappointing for a new courtyard.
Also while the night front desk staffer was apologetic and helpful, after all this, the actual hotel manager never followed up with us with an apology or anything. Strongly suggest staying elsewhere!

Pool was cool, bed was comfy, staff was great. However a little disappointed that for that kind of money breakfast would be included and it wasn't and was expensive to eat there. The dryer was also broke and almost didn't notice before starting the wash. It was not in the greatest area close to anything really.
