Place was clean and cozy. The staff was nice and helpful they made sure we were settled in. Could fix the window in bathroom but other wise the room was nice and clean and was quiet allowed us to sleep and get up on time for our fishing trip. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for the night. It was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. It's a typical jersey shore motel close to a lot of good shopping and restaurants. I checked the room up and down, no bugs. The pool was open till 9 and it seemed to be family oriented and some young kids from the shore bars. I would stay again

This hotel is a great price for this time of year in New Jersey. Room was clean with coffee maker. Part of it is closed as they are refurbishing. No noise from the work being done. Staff is very helpful and even helped us with direction to a family gathering. I would stay there again.

I was delighted to stay at this gem of an Inn this week. The rooms are generously sized, and the housekeeping staff keep them spotless. The term, "so clean you can eat off of the floor" really applies here. The manager was very helpful as this was my first trip to Belmar, and her kindness was really appreciated. There are supermarkets across the street and great beaches a few minutes' drive from the Inn. All in all, a 5-star experience, at a very affordable daily rate. Thank you and look forward to the next stay!

Our recent stay at the Atlantic Inn & Suites on the Jersey Shore was a delightful experience. This affordable gem proved to be the perfect choice for our trip, offering both comfort and convenience.
The owner, Dawn, went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our time on the Jersey Shore. Her helpful advice and warm hospitality truly enhanced our stay.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The entire property was tidy, creating a pleasant environment for all guests. Speaking of which, we found our fellow travelers to be friendly, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.
Location-wise, the Atlantic Inn & Suites couldn't be better. It's close to all the area beaches, allowing easy access to sun and surf. Having an Aldi right across the street was incredibly convenient, and everything else we needed was within easy reach.
We particularly appreciated the good coffee served at breakfast - a perfect start to our beach days.
Choosing the Atlantic Inn & Suites definitely made our long trip even more enjoyable. We're grateful for the comfortable accommodations, ideal location, and the extra care provided by Dawn and her team. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Jersey Shore!

Woke up covered in bug bites and a rash. When I told the staff, I was told “I don’t know what to tell you” and was met with an attitude. The tub filled up halfway with water when you tried to shower. Will never go back.

we checked in at 10 am on Saturday and had to pay the 35.00 early check in fee. we opened the door to room 122 only to find a huge cockroach on the pillow. I took a photo and immediately went back to reception to be told that the bugs come into the room when you open the door. the woman at reception told me that they have updated all the rooms and that the former owners of the Travel Lodge were "very dirty and the motel was in very poor shape" when they bought it so they have worked hard to "renovate" in the last 6 months. I was given the key to room 123. the "newly renovated room" was the exact same carpet, wallpaper furniture as the Travel Lodge. Saturday night my 20 year old daughter woke up crying as there was a cockroach that landed on her head! Again, i took a photo and in the am i showed the same woman who told me that it's not possible-they just sprayed for bugs. we went to the beach and returned to shower and could not stay another night with bugs-when i went to check out-finally-the owner, a man, apologized. I said i don't care-it's disgusting and we are not staying another night. he smartly refunded the nightly rate-i am still waiting for the credit. I will NEVER stay here again. It is filthy.

completely fresh remodeled, price very reasonable, super clean. even had coffee maker in room. large flat screen tv , very large variety of channels. bed very comfy with plenty of pillows. staff very friendly and helpful. one of best places I've stayed! had everything a person could need.

Booked here at the last minute because the price and location were right. Stayed in room 107, which we booked as a "queen" room. We were pleasantly surprised to get into the room and see a king bed with lots of fluffy pillows! Room was spacious and even had a small desk area. Carpet may be leftover from pre-renovation, but overall the room was clean and comfortable. Shower had good water pressure; soap, shampoo and lotion were provided. Room had a coffee maker, safe and a small fridge. Staff was pleasant. Pool area is nice. Continental breakfast was sufficient for a quick bite (cereal, bagels, toast, pastries, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs). Easy check in and check out. A quick drive to beaches and the new Whole Foods Market. Free wifi but I can't comment on it since I didn't use it.
Only complaint is noise: you can easily hear your next-door neighbors through the room walls (TV, talking...), and if you like to sleep in, bring earplugs because people outside your door will sound like they're in your room.

I was impressed when entering room. .room was very clean, furniture was modern, new carpets, nice sized TV with many channels and staff are very nice..Ive stayed in high price hotels and they weren't much better..they offer a breakfast and high-speed internet which other places will advertise but have terrible service

freehold and wall township are about 20 minutes from each other. if you take route 33 west, and follow through to business 33, then make a left onto route 79 ... the south gate manor is going to be on your right hand side.
