Very nice & clean hotel with friendly front desk staff! Breakfast was cooked to order & very good. Close to many restaurants. Parking lot got a bit sketchy at night. In town for my kids travel sporting event & probably our best hotel stay of the summer. This is a great Hilton property.

Check in was very easy, room was modern with an unusual design featuring the bed in middle of room. Bath and shower excellent. No smoking in entire hotel. Breakfast not included in stay, but available for $12.95, a bit pricey for me, but I'm not a big breakfast guy. We would definitely stay here again. Price (about $150) seems bought right for area and quality. I hated the pillows, too soft, but my wife found them ok.

Dear JohnB15713, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your recent stay at our hotel. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with a lack of a free continental breakfast. Hilton Garden Inn hotels offer a full cooked to order hot breakfast at a cost specified by our property instead of a free limited continental breakfast that other brands may offer. If you would like for the cost of our cooked to order breakfast to be included with the room rate during future stays, please know that you can inquire about our Bed and Breakfast package. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future. Our goal is to make your stay better and brighter. If something isn't just the way you like it, simply let any Team Member know, and we will make it right. Guaranteed.

This is by far the largest Hilton Garden Inn that I have stayed at and was pleased with the service, location and accommodations. This hotel is perfect if you hosting a wedding, conference or even a midsize meeting due to the space provided by the hotel. There is ample parking to meet the needs of large events. Regardless, the rooms are upscale, sleek and more modern than most of the Hilton Garden Inns around. If you look at the pics I posted of my room, you can see the attention to detail in each of the rooms that makes it go above and beyond. The rooms are also large and have sitting area space. The mirrors and lighting in the bathroom are on par with other five star hotels. The beds are huge and comfy. The Hilton Garden here in Springfield is magnificent and I will stay here again.

I stayed here one night on business in January 2023.

Staff at the hotel were just fine—a welcoming check-in and a fine check-out.

The hotel does not do daily housekeeping, with (annoying) letters in your room that try to make this about “your preference to not have people in your room” rather than the honest truth of the hotel’s cheapness. And, unfortunately, the room showed signs of not having daily housekeeping; on my one-night stay, the shower glass was covered with film. These little signs of dirtiness happen when rooms are not cleaned as regularly as they used to be.

The room had horrible design. The bed faced the window, with a wall behind behind it, and a desk in front of that wall. Consequently, there were not bedside tables or outlets, which required plugging in devices on the desk behind rather than next to the bed. There was not a bedside lamp; there were little lights on the wall behind the bed, but one of them didn’t work. The room’s single chair, facing the door, was the opposite direction of the television. I might understand this design if, say, this was a beachside hotel aiming to maximize views of the ocean, but the bizarre design maximized view of…a parking lot.

It wasn’t horrible, but between the lack of housekeeping, little bits of uncleanliness, and absolutely atrocious room design, I would not particularly recommended it.

Dear brmusicman; Thank you for your positive review. I see you were unhappy with the design of your room. The room that was reserved was a K1D which is a room that has more of an urban design due to the square footage available in this room type. I would recommend in the future to reserve a K1 which is a typical design of a hotel room and is much roomier. I sincerely thank you for your understanding. Inn Hospitality, Tom

I was disappointed after being in several hotels over the past 3 months. There was one person at the desk doing at least 3 roles.
The manager was ineffective despite reaching out to her as my room was not clean and did not meet my expectations. There was hair in the shower and hair on the wall in the bathroom and it was definitely not mine. The refrigerator was not clean either. It was evident the room was not clean especially during the pandemic as it’s not over. There is a grab n go breakfast which was not acceptable. The price of the room was expensive and it could be a very nice hotel stay but they need additional personnel and pay attention to detail. The customer service was poor and I watched it on everyone’s face.
I don’t recommend this hotel. Spend your money at another location.

I am currently staying at this location, and since I checked I have been pissed. The customer service here is terrible. I picked this hotel because of the pet friendliness and the proximity to my job and the new home I am purchasing. From the moment I walked in with my pets it was anything but friendly. I made my reservations online and when speaking with representative online I expressed I would be traveling with my pets. She made it seem like this would be a welcoming environment for us all, and it has not Upon my checking in I asked the gentleman where my dogs could use the bathroom and his reply was “ off to the side” After I was settled in my room I wanted to take my dog for a walked and I immediately noticed the manager on-site Mary Cortez giving me a scowl … I wasn’t greeted with a smile she didn’t even say hello. Shortly after my son did the same . He calls me and says a woman was shouting to him in the lobby asking did he pay a pet fee… I was extremely annoyed . As a leader in this establishment how did she think it was appropriate to confront a teenager asking about a pet fee? I’m sure it had everything to do with the fact that he was an African American teenager and she assumed that he wasn’t traveling with his parent and also that we didn’t pay. 1/24/23 I receive several calls while at work followed by an abrupt voicemail stating that tomorrow 1/25/23 I need to have my animals out of my room by 8am so a check can be done on the fire system. I am a single parent and I am also a government employee who works a full time job .. When I arrive at the hotel after getting off work to inquire about the abrupt voicemail I again saw Ms Mary Cortez. I asked about the voicemail and she explained to me about the fire check. I explained to her that I would have to take off work a whole day so their 5 min fire check can be done . She kinda shrugged and then said well we can’t predict when the fire checks would be done . I booked my stay here for 5 nights .. For a total of 1422.22 not and with the extra pet fee 1672.00$ . To arrive here and get treated like I’m asking for a hand out . My 1672.00$ means absolutely nothing because I’m traveling with my pets and my teenage son. I asked the manager how will I be compensated for having to take the day off for their 5 min fire check … She basically said it’s not out fault you bought your dogs. It’s totally unfair to charge a pet fee of 125$ if they are or can’t be comfortable. This has been an absolute nightmare and now I have shorten my stay which I know they don’t care bout because if they did the customer service would have been more inviting.

Dear Dream789572; Thank you for taking the time in writing a review on Trip Advisor. Your candour is much appreciated. We sincerely apologize for any difficulties you may have encountered. I can assure you that this had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that your son is an African American teenager as you stated. Ms. Cortez is also of foreign decent. In reviewing your folios your charges were correct. The room & tax was $1444.30 for the 2 rooms + a Pet Fee of $133.28 including taxes. The grand total charged was $1577.68 as quoted. Pet owners do have a responsibility to adhering to our pet polices which you signed when checking in. The policy presented does indicate where our pet relief areas are located: On-site pet amenities: • Pet relief areas can be found near the left rear corner & right rear corner of our property. Please dispose of pet waste in designated outdoor pet stations. We sincerely thank you for your understanding. Inn Hospitality, Tom,GM

We used the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, NJ for a wedding room block. Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful with impeccably clean and spacious guest rooms. The lobby is very large with lots of seating which was great for family and friends to gather. We hosted a private brunch in part of the Oasis ballroom and the food was delicious and catering staff provided excellent service. Everyone I dealt with when planning the room block and during the wedding weekend was amazingly service oriented...starting the with Group Sales staff (kudos to Jill C. and Sheena D.), front desk staff, on-site manager (Mary C.), housekeeping staff and catering staff. I highly recommend the Springfield Hilton Garden Inn. You won't be disappointed.

This is a moderate quality hotel, located on Route 22 which is a fairly busy road. The rooms are large and well furnished. The beds are comfortable and amenities are typical for a hotel of this type. There is no regular housekeeping service; any needs must be requested at the desk. The front desk staff don't appear to have a formal method for entering service requests, and our request for housekeeping services was missed on one of the three days of our stay. When figuring the total cost of your stay, don't forget to add the 14.62% sales tax, municipality tax and occupancy tax.

This is the place to stay in this area! The hotel is clean and the staff is constantly working to keep it clean. The staff is attentive, friendly, and responsive. Our room was spacious with good lighting. The exercise room was clean and had excellent equipment, and it was good sized. We will definitely stay here again. The only negative is you have to pay for breakfast so we just bought some bars and ate them in our room.
