Staff at the hotel were just fine—a welcoming check-in and a fine check-out.
The hotel does not do daily housekeeping, with (annoying) letters in your room that try to make this about “your preference to not have people in your room” rather than the honest truth of the hotel’s cheapness. And, unfortunately, the room showed signs of not having daily housekeeping; on my one-night stay, the shower glass was covered with film. These little signs of dirtiness happen when rooms are not cleaned as regularly as they used to be.
The room had horrible design. The bed faced the window, with a wall behind behind it, and a desk in front of that wall. Consequently, there were not bedside tables or outlets, which required plugging in devices on the desk behind rather than next to the bed. There was not a bedside lamp; there were little lights on the wall behind the bed, but one of them didn’t work. The room’s single chair, facing the door, was the opposite direction of the television. I might understand this design if, say, this was a beachside hotel aiming to maximize views of the ocean, but the bizarre design maximized view of…a parking lot.
It wasn’t horrible, but between the lack of housekeeping, little bits of uncleanliness, and absolutely atrocious room design, I would not particularly recommended it.
The manager was ineffective despite reaching out to her as my room was not clean and did not meet my expectations. There was hair in the shower and hair on the wall in the bathroom and it was definitely not mine. The refrigerator was not clean either. It was evident the room was not clean especially during the pandemic as it’s not over. There is a grab n go breakfast which was not acceptable. The price of the room was expensive and it could be a very nice hotel stay but they need additional personnel and pay attention to detail. The customer service was poor and I watched it on everyone’s face.
I don’t recommend this hotel. Spend your money at another location.

"All entry is through front door, and then elevators as needed. Lots of walking with luggage."Read full review
