I was not excited when my company booked me in here but unlike the ones in Columbus Ohio this place was very clean and smoke free. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
They have a small clean gym that is user friendly, a community center/area.
I have included pictures.
I’m giving them 4 ⭐️ ‘s

I checked in on July 14th around 8:00 pm and left on the 17th (room 228). I was impressed by the attention of the desk clerk when I arrived. The room was immaculate. This is a location that has only been open three years and all the reviews on Expedia were good. Room came with dishes, dishwasher, plenty of towels and comfy bed. Cable TV and A/C. Not that much soap so bring your own, as is expected. Nice bathroom walk in shower with handles suitable for seniors. The staff was at all times responsive, pleasant, and professional. The laundry room is air conditioned. The walls may be a little thin as expected (noise) but you can always ask for a room change. Includes fridge and microwave also.

The worst, I have stayed in many hotels I paid for two rooms for 2nights and one of the rooms smelled like cigarettes from the moment you opened the door. The other room toilet was clogged told the front desk lady and she handed me a plunger. I came from a long road trip with children. Front lady was very rude I asked for a different room and she didn’t want to offer me one. I asked her for my refund so I can find another hotel and she refused. Is a nonsmoking facility but they don’t enforce if you don’t smoke and or have children don’t stay here.

This is a terrible hotel. The staff was horrible and the room was dirty. It was crumbs and hair under the bed, my shower smelled like pool water, my daughter spilled water on the floor and I cleaned it up and the tissue was black (obviously they didn’t clean the floor). I ended up getting a rash (allergic reaction) on my entire body. I’m not sure if it was the bedding, the towels/rags with the detergent they used. But the fact my room was extremely dirty I don’t think they cleaned the sheets. This was not worth the money. I’ve stayed at many extended stay hotels and this was by far the worst. Im very upset. The rash really makes me very upset. I’ve reached out to management and corporate and nothing has been said about my horrible stay yet.

I am not one to write bad reviews but I am not sure that the rest of these reviews stayed at the same place as me? I want to make sure other guests understand what to expect when staying here: I stayed here for multiple weeks while moving homes. When I moved into the room, it was filthy. There was crumbs and dirt all over. I refused to use half the shelves in the kitchen or closet because I had no idea what was all over them. Half the buttons on the remote for the TV did not work, the lights are all motion sensor (understandably) but they will turn off if you are laying in bed and you physically have to get up again to turn them back on as the sensor is by the door, very inconvenient as I think the lights are on for max 30 mins at a time. It took me a while to figure out how to get them not to turn on in the middle of the night when I got up for bathroom breaks also. The lights are an incredible pain. They’re always beeping too.. My room faced the highway and the windows are poorly isolated. It will sound like the window is open, but trust me, it’s not. The kitchen consists of a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, sink and two stove tops. You are provided with the bare minimum in terms of silverware (1 each of a fork/knife/spoon/glass and a pan/pot). There is nothing else so bring your own. Because there is a stovetop, the fire alarm goes off EVERYDAY, multiple times a day and throughout the night. I didn’t understand why nobody left the building the first time it went off, by the end of my stay I didn’t leave my room either. That shows you how common they are. At this point, I’m surprised they haven’t had them removed or south plainsfield FD hasn’t forced them to get rid of them. There is a distinct smell to the place, the hallways have a stench to them and no windows are open to try to air it out. Luckily the room was fine. If anything, you could open the window in the room but only very slightly (was blocked otherwise). I stayed here during covid and although there are signs posted everywhere requiring people to wear a mask, I was one of the only people that wore one. Not even the hotel workers wore them or housekeeping when cleaning the rooms... The elevator was also broken for extended periods of time, including while I was checking out and I had to carry multiple suitcases and boxes/bags down flights of stairs to my car. I was told multiple times prior to my check out day that “the maintenance guy was on his way today”. Multiple days passed and it was still out of use. Oh and the basic WIFi? Unusable, my phone couldn’t stay connected to it for one minute. I blew through data here. Somehow there are 1000 channels but the WiFi doesn’t work. Please please consider everything in my review prior to booking a stay here, I was as honest as possible, otherwise you will be disappointed.

At first look the hotel seems to be nice and clean when you first pull in. But omg once you get into the hotel help. The rooms are not clean right at all the dishes was put away dirty. Inside of the dishwashers I found small alcohol bottles empty. The floors was nasty and the bathrooms was dirty. The showers was fill of old soap scrum. The shower doors was not clean and they had soaps that was use all ready for the new guest to use. It’s suppose to be a non smoken building. But as soon as u go out the doors people smoken right there buds all over the place piles next to the door. The office closes at 11 and the person who works over night looks like he is high on drugs. I was there for a week and every time I seen him it was bad. The manger can careless about what’s going on and will not give you no help. Please fine a better place for you and your family.

Yes, it is a newer hotel therefore still clean. But they really dropped the ball when they hired a untrained, inexperienced "security department," a total of one guy who really doesn't care. I and others were harassed by a man in the parking lot. He then tried to break in to several cars. Turns out this man was actually a another guest at the hotel. Police were called and he was taken to the police station. The problem, security, was allowing this man to come back to the hotel to stay! He even shook his hand and called him "bro". You would think being a car thief would be enough to expel him or the seven other "rules" he and his family?, total of five in one room, clearly broke. It was actually a very scary experience, as a rule I don't go to places where I may be told, " I'll kick the blank out of you", and pay to stay there. It gets even better, the next morning the hotel security, yep the one guy, thought the whole situation was funny!
Not done yet, in front of witness, Mr Security wanted me to know it is NOT the hotels responsibility to ensure guest personal safety nor do they assume ANY responsibility for your car in their parking lot. I've done a lot of traveling and this is the only negative review I have ever left.

We really wanted to like this hotel, but........
The staff is very pleasant, helpful and upbeat, the room size is fine, the bed is comfortable, and the room is designed and decorated in a contemporary, minimalistic manner, all of which is good. Unfortunately, however, we felt that the hotel was misrepresented, as one of the advertised points is the full kitchenette. The kitchenette is very nice, however, there is no cookware, dishes, glasses, nor utensils provided, which is completely illogical as there is a full sized dishwasher in the unit as well as full refrigerator and two burner cooktop. When asked about that, the manager replied that providing those amenities would require them to charge more per night and they want to keep their costs down. Further, no coffeemaker is provided. When asked about that, I was told that we could purchase one at the front desk if we wanted, and if not, there was a coffee vending machine in the front lobby. Also, no hairdryers are provided in the rooms, When we checked in, our room contained one towel and 2 washcloths. We were able to obtain more, but it required us finding the woman who apparently was the one maid or housekeeping person that was working that day. Also, the floors, which are a wood look laminate, looked nice, but were an odd combination of being rather slick and sticky at the same time. When we walked on them barefoot the bottoms of our feet became black with some sort of residue. This hotel has no ice makers nor ice buckets, and when we inquired about that, the response was that there were 2 ice cube trays in the freezer of the refrigerator, and if we fill them, we'd have ice in 30 minutes.
This hotel wants to be nice, and gives a good initial presentation, but once actually checked in and there, it's shortcomings become apparent to the point of absurdity. We would never recommend nor stay here again.
