The hotel is of average quality. The suite that we stayed in was a disappointment. The room was large, but the quality of the furniture and the bathroom could not be considered "suite" suitable. The couch was broken down and could not be used. The room was clean and the queen bed was comfortable, but again, the room was lacking the quality usually found in hotel suite rooms. Additionally, our room faced a busy road that had a traffic light, so traffic noise was bothersome all night, especially the trucks shifting their gears. Breakfast was supposed to be served in the adjoining restaurant (Hooters) but at 8 AM to 9 AM only, not conducive for an early start at hitting the road. Won't stay here again. Breakfast was not included in the hotel cost.

We checked in to this hotel on Jan 15, 22. We had 2 rooms. The hotel is great. The front desk lady Krishna was friendly and helpful. She assigned us the rooms as per the request. Good rooms and clean lobby. My family liked the stay. I would love to stay in this hotel whenever I will go to Somerset, NJ.

Stayed 2 nights, convenient for highways, shopping etc. Room clean, welcoming, although room key did not work several times, had to return to reception again and again, small inconvenience, overall happy with hotel.

The owner does what he pleases, and that's his right. But, there is no reason he needs to charge a $150 deposit, the rooms are not that nice. And unless you read all the fine print on the hotel description. You know nothing about it. So they charge your card an extra $150 which doesn't get released for up to 14 days. If you are on a tight budget, that hurts. There is no free breakfast here like all the other Whydham hotels. The rooms are older, but clean. The staff, so far is very nice and talkative.

Don’t even know where to start, I didn’t expect a nice hotel forced to stay due stay to play rules for soccer. We arrived to find a completely outdated facility. The furniture is original. Thanks he men’s bathroom smells like urine even after cleaning it. We go to our room, the outlets in lamps don’t work, no USB option, fridge didn’t work at all, shower one had to forcefully pull to get water come out and tv remote worked part of time. We asked for fridge to be fixed in 3 days there. I one came to repair or replace it. The pool is sketchy, neglected, dirty, grungy etc. would never put my toe in that pool. The workout room is by far worst I have ever seen. It is dirty, three equipment pieces are broke, piece pizza left over night, not many options but one could use a boxing bag lol. When one tries find it on map it comes up Hooters not hotel. So when they show bar in pics it is actually Hooters not hotel. There was fight in parking lot in middle of afternoon on Friday when we arrived. If I could give this place less than one I would. Top 3 places I have ever stayed but the reason I would give less than 1 is due to how poorly and mean the people who work their are. I will never again stay at a Choices property.

Thank you Krishna. She is very a great staff member at this hotel. This hotel is at a good location and very convenient for me. The staff is very nice and I haven't had any issues with my room. I stay at this hotel at least 2 to 3 times a week. You also have a Hooters attached to the hotel and this is a plus because you can just run down there and grab a bite to eat.

The property is very clean and quiet with helpful staff. Every need that I had was attended to by the hotel staff and front desk. The hotel has a great value for its location. The staff is very attentive to the needs of its guests and the front desk personnel is fantastic. Every need that I had personally was taken care of by Krishna who is an absolutely fantastic front desk manager.

We had a huge rental truck fail on a rainy night trying to return it so we could fly home for NY's eve. The tow truck took forever, we had no place to stay. I called my Choice Privileges number and they put us on to the Clarion/Somerset. The folks there gave us 1st class service +. The next morning after giving us help to change the flight, and get a limo to the airport. We were the 'Out Of Towners" for sure. The Manager and Nabil Krishnas helped us, ignoring other pressing duties until we were safely in our limo th the airport. The driver, picked by the hotel people, got us there quickly and stayed with us until we were booked on an earlier flight. I can't say enough for the Hotel it's people, the limo and driver. Thanks so much to the entire crew. Me and my mate are both seasoned travelers, with one of us a million miler with Delta and me over 600,000 sky miles. But, this time we needed big time help and the hotel went through the gate for us. Thanks again. Brian Bobbitt

This hotel is very run down and our room smelled horrible like cigerrette smoke. We complained three times and got no where. It was like someone was smoking in the room for years. Overall hotel is run down and nasty.

I can’t say with confidence that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. However, it is certainly the worst hotel of the last 35 years. Not particularly clean. A bed that sagged to one side. Based on the condition of the signs, one of the two elevators has not worked for several months. On the plus side, they took less than one hour to remove the drug addict who was passed out in the working elevator.
I only stayed here because United Airlines choose this fine establishment for me when they cancelled my flight due to “crew illegality” - whatever that means.
