Just checked out of the Rensissance today after a very nice stay.
Rooms appear to be newly renovated, and were very fresh and clean. All the basic amenities were there, with a great walk in shower.
Food in the restaurant, Finches was very good as was the service of a great bartender there.
Overall, a great product at a reasonable price.

I have stayed at this property many a time and have always claimed it to be home away from home. Since the “lock Down” things have gone sideways. The restaurant was open for room deliver or pick up however only had burgers, wings & frys....not good for a type 2 diabetic. The food shop was also stocked rather well, again, nothing for those that want to watch their sugar intake. The hotel staff are awesome and are doing their best under these conditions, however, there needs to be forethought about the food delivery versus running out of anything. With not really giving travelers a break on cost, being higher than other properties, one would hope they would provide a little better proactive thinking.
I shall return when this so called “safe lock down” ends.

The customer service was outstanding. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the manager and staff constantly paid close attention to serving people and cleaning up. The staff kept bringing out hot food to the buffet.
The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the water in the shower took a very long time to heat up and then the water pressure was a problem too.

The hotel is operating at a bare minimum with premium prices that DO NOT justify the cost. All amenities are practically suspended, the condition of the rooms are poor, they are unkept, and to have housekeeping clean your room, you have to beg and call before 8am to get on the list. Ridiculous. Ordering coffee in the morning comes with a delivery fee of $5 and the coffee is cold. If you don't make it downstairs by 10am for coffee or breakfast, you've forfeited your chance to anything warm. The hotel has a banquet hall that was filled with rowdy and unpleasant patrons that take up the entire parking area and the guests are left without a parking space.
On a good note, the gym was newly renovated and was quite great, a complete contrast from everything else in the hotel. We were staying in the "club level" which I still don't know what that means since no special amenities were offered, etc. I truly was hoping for a better experience, I will soon be waving Bon Voyage to BonVoy since my recent experiences with their product lines have been consistently subpar.

The staff and customer service at this hotel is absolutely top notch. I ordered food to my room and everyone was so friendly and accommodating, both at the front desk and those that brought the food. They were prompt and the food was very good. I would also like to highlight the exceptional service of Carlos C. He helped find me a room that best fit my needs and I hope that he is adequately rewarded for his hard work from management. It's people like Carlos C that make the difference at hotels. Thank you!

The room was clean and spacious. That’s about all that was good. If you are a light sleeper like me, you will not get much sleep here. We were on the 6th floor and could hear all the traffic outside. At one point I thought the window was open. The air conditioner was very loud and rattled so loud when it was cycling off. We were awaken around 5am to the most awful, loud noise from somewhere. We were not sure if it was the fire alarm or if someone was blowing a loud horn in the hallway. We think it was air or something in the pipes when someone took a shower. Room does need updating - cabinet door where the mini fridge is - was falling off and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken.
When we checked out, the front desk staff never made eye contact and seemed uninterested in our concerns.

Parking was easy and check in was seamless. After discovering they were at 95% occupancy, I was assigned to a room on the 6th floor that faced the highway. Upon opening the door, I noticed just how sparse the decor in the room was. No bottled water, no art on the walls that jumped out at me… but the bed was super comfy!
I had dinner downstairs at Finch’s and was informed the owner of the hotel was in the bar so very one was on edge and scrambling to make sure he was attended to. I find it a shame he required so much attention during peaks hours like dinner. Dinner was “okay” - I had chicken breast which was on the bone and drier than it should have been along with mashed potatoes. The crème brûlée cheesecake seemed as if it had once been frozen and was a bit dry as well. Nothing with chocolate on the dessert menu which was disappointing for someone who loves chocolate. Not a complaint - just a suggestion. But, my server Maureen was wonderful. Very personal and welcoming.
I had a do not disturb door hanger on my door and was disturbed anyway. He wanted to confirm my departure time…?
Check out was a little chaotic. New people were being trained (congrats on the new jobs!) but the front desk manager was distracted and kept asking me the same questions over and over because my answers didn’t seem to be registering. I went into finch’s to grab some coffee and was given it on the house by a very nice woman.
It was only a one night stay for business in the area. All in all, the property is fine and service was great.

Hotel was clean and hotel staff were friendly. My only concern and I believe it’s a big one- hotels need to stop regulating ac temps. When I pay over $300 a night I should be able to adjust the temperature lower than 68 degrees. The room was extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. Led to a very uncomfortable nights sleep.

have never experienced this bad service in a Marriott chain hotel before.
The welcome desk staff, did not even looked me in the eyes while checking me in, she was cold and not helpful at all. After getting in my room noticed how noisy it is, so I called to ask to change and the answer was a straight “no”. I understand that a hotel can get full, but a hotel must also understand that guests come here to rest?
Few minutes later I call asking for sleepers, the answer was again a no, and for me, this is the first time ever, a staff tells me a Renaissance does not have sleepers. Hotels of lower category from Marriott provide sleepers upon request, but as per the staff, this hotel never had.
It took me a very long time to fall sleep due to the highway noise, the hotel definitely did not serve its purpose of “being a quite place to rest with a great service”.

The outside of the building is dated. Upon check-in we were made aware of a water leak affecting the hotel. We stayed on the fourth floor, which was partly blocked off and had about six carpet dryers in use. They were so loud. Our room was right by them— we thought they would turn them off at night but they ran the entire night. We hardly slept because they are so noisy. Our room was dirty. Bacteria and rust collected at the bottom of the shower door. I am not sure what this property’s definition of renovated is. It looked dated— the phone in the room looks like it’s from the 90s. When we flushed the toilet there was a high pitched noise that sounded like a blow dryer for about 60 seconds every time. We tried to take advantage of Showtime on the television. The shows would play for about a minute and then pause. There were some connection issues. There was trash on the balcony from prior guests. Also, the $11 for parking is interesting. I feel as though no one checked the tags and the parking lot is spacious so not sure why parking isn’t free. I would never stay here again. We paid $260/ night and I’m genuinely confused as to why. It was not worth it at all. Google has this listed as a 4-star hotel and I promise it is not. Perhaps we got a bad room, which is also bad customer service for someone to even had assigned us this room. Try boutique hotels, chain hotels like marriot are out of style.
