Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here as a reasonably priced option as I was attending an event at Met Life Stadium, and I think the location may be the only real appeal (it took about 10 minutes to drive to the Stadium and about 30 minutes back due to traffic). The staff were all very professional, but I had a lot of difficulty sleeping for a number of reasons. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, and there was an overwhelming odor of cleaning product that was headache-inducing. The room was also quite damp, and the AC unit was noisy, so the option was to turn it off and make things too hot, or keep it running and have the room cold and damp. The heavy drapes on the window couldn't obscure the bright light of the lot next to the hotel (the room was on the lower level on the opposite side of the hotel entrance, and was a lot like a motel room), so that added to the discomfort (I eventually got a couple of hours sleep out of sheer exhaustion). I entertained grabbing something to eat in the lobby the following morning, but the area was monopolized by a family that was staying there, so I opted for one of the many breakfast places in the area. In short, the staff was great, the location was handy, but the room was not good at all (especially for the price).

This hotel is ok to stop and get rest during a road trip. Wouldn't recommend it to stay for more than a couple nights. It appears that this was an outside hotel that was renovated with a protective outer wall to protect from the elements. It works except it has windows that were open and it let the cold air blow into the hallway(defeating the purpose of the outer wall). Otherwise decent. Smokers seem to like this hotel as well. Not my thing as I'm not a smoker so that's bothersome because they always wake up in the middle of the night to go puff in the hallway and talk which is disturbing when you're trying to rest.

The establishment just does not care about his customers. The toilet didn't flush, the air conditioning/heat didn't work, I was called all the time. There was noise next door from people's kids running around all hours of the night. I reported all of this nothing was done

By far the Worst experience at a hotel I have ever had the man in the front desk, tried everything in his capability to make it so I wouldn’t checking you would think there’s a Hotel would need or want the money either way it’s an establishment so the end goal is to get people to check in not drive them away. He did everything he could to drive me away. Charge me extra gave me the runaround had attitude. It was ridiculous. He obviously doesn’t think there is going to be any punishment, and that he could run the show as he wants he look like he could be at the most 25 years old. Whoever runs this hotel the manager needs to sit down and have a good long talk with him. He thinks that he runs the Hotel I’m convinced the manager doesn’t even live in the area. He looks like he must be 25 years old. Put it this way. It’s 2:14 PM. I stayed here the night before and switched rooms. He charged me a $40 plus tax early check-in fee I bought a chair outside to enjoy the weather complained about that he complained and knocked about every tiny little thing there was put it this way I pay for this hotel and I already want to check out. I want a refund and I’m going to see if that could happen. Too bad I can’t since I pre-paid on priceline if I had booked this on Wydam Rewards, I would get a refund and go to a different Days Inn. It’s not where the trouble go to a different hotel there’s nobody in this hotel not even one other guess I could see why they need to shut down. Don’t come here not worth the trouble there’s a different Days Inn‘s in the area that won’t give you the runaround and a hard time. Save your money goes to morales not worth the trouble.

The hotel was nice and clean for the most part. One great thing was just how close the bus stop to get a bus to NYC was. We had to walk only a couple block to get to the stop and get to NYC. When we came back, there were a lot of great Korean restaurants right there too (couple blocks from the hotel) for us to pick and eat from. It's located in a great area if you like food and traveling to the city.

Rooms were not clean. Rooms smelled like weed and cigarettes. Bedsheets were not clean. There was stain all over them. Never ever booking again. This by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I could not wait to check out. This place in terms of cleanliness is nasty

Nice place to stay. Quiet and clean rooms . check in greeting left a lot to be desired. Not the friendliest but not the worst either. Could use some training in that regard. Lead with a smile. However for a brief stay nice accommodations. Cute room. Clean bathroom. Checked sheets and room for cobwebs or dirt. None of that👍

Hotel was nice. Glad they had availability on a Saturday night because it’s tough to find a hotel on short notice. I travel for work and sometimes I can’t find a hotel to stay at due to hotels being booked. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

The place was very clean, smelled fresh, and the bed was so comfortable that I had the best nights sleep. The breakfast was fresh, and the eating area was kept clean. Definitely would recommend this place if you are in the area and need a place to stay.

What is the best way to get into New York and where are there some good steak restuarants and bars near by.
Answer from Nicola P

Hey there, We recently stayed here in the summer and unless you have a car the only way to get into New York from here is by the bus service which takes around 40 ish minutes which is great. The problem is getting to the bus stop as you have to walk along the side of the New Jersey turnpike to get there for about 100 yards. We also found that nearby there were no bars that we could find and the closest restaurant to this hotel was a Korean restaurant. (Apart from the place directly beside it which I think is a Chinese but it closes very early).
