Booked accessible room on upper floor with walk-in shower & early check-in at 1:00pm, arrived 1:45 - room was not ready so given an alternate but when we entered room we realized it was not accessible as booked so returned to front desk & shown alternate on ground floor as requested which was not ready but since we were meeting family we left our small suitcase with the manager to leave in room. In all fairness to her, she went out of her way to meet our needs.
Nice to have a complete complimentary breakfast offered while still during the pandemic. Masks were not required for fully vaccinated guests but all the staff did wear masks. there was ample hand sanitizer located throughout the facility

We have returned to this hotel numerous times because it is a very good value with a convenient location to highway routes 46, 80 and 287 as well as the local streets in Parsippany. Over the years it has consistently maintained the Marriott quality. We had a minor issue this time. Due to the Covid situation, the hotel was not providing daily housekeeping unless specifically requested. We were not aware of this until the second day of our four day stay.

It has been a few years since I stayed at this hotel because I was very displeased with the condition and service there. I needed to be in the area for an appointment and although I normally would have just done it as a day trip, I decided it would be better to stay overnight than driving 4 hours each way. Since it was going to be a place I’d spend minimal time in, I decided to take a chance.
Prices at other properties in the area were much higher than the rate listed for this hotel, so I was skeptical about staying there. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a well kept and very clean room. The staff was very accommodating with my request for a room in a particular location.
I have no problem with going back to this hotel again. My only complaint on location is the access to getting onto area roads. Otherwise, this is a nice, basic accommodation.

Always stayed here when visiting our New Jersey relatives but due to the pandemic it had been 20 months since our last visit. The room was less then ideal. We had to request a luggage rack for the suitcase. The tube had rusty stains all around the drain and when engaging the shower only half the water came out of the shower head. The toilet ran unless you remembered to jiggle the handle. The microwave buttons were worn so you could not see start and cancel but had to guess. They need to stop advertising any breakfast as we were offered only bottled water, a granola bar and/or an apple. No coffee...told to make it in our room, and no juice, muffin, yogurt or milk like we have been offered at other hotels during this post pandemic time. We will just stay elsewhere when in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. The staff, from housekeeping to kitchen staff (Steph, Noreen, Fray, Tariq are humble, respectful, cordial, professional and went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was amazing. The general manage, Daila and I discussed ways to improve maintenance to ADA accessibility; less noisy a/c system; and doing away with carpet in the rooms. She was very responsive. The place was clean; continental courtesy (free) breakfast was always fresh and hot. Nothing beats free breakfast, great service, courteous staff that treat guests with platinum service, microwave, fridge, and free hot coffee all day for an affordable and reasonable price. Every time I am in the area, I will stay at Parsippany Fairfield. Thank you guys for a great stay and see you again soon!

We requested and received a room for someone with mobility limitations. I highly recommend talking to the people at the Fairfield Inn after getting a price with a motel room pricing app, I did this and Fairfield Inn beat the app's best price. We also stayed for 8 nights which may have had a bearing on the price they gave me. I could tell the motel tried to have a good breakfast with a variety of choices but all of the food was premade and reheated and rehydrated in a turbo oven. Though Covid 19 does affect foodservice My wife and I have stayed at plenty of motels with fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit gravy, and best of all a waffle maker. Whether we stay at the Fairfield Inn again will be determined by the quality and type of food available for breakfast. I mean, tiny, premade, precut, bagels in New Jersey! Not good.

Clean hotel-you could tell the rooms were cleaned thoroughly since all the draws/closet was left open and seat cushions up when we came into the room. That seemed a little unusual though. There were a few issues. After flushing toilet, water poured out of the tank due to a broken hose. Water all over the bathroom. Asked to be moved to a new room which was done promptly. We were sent to a suite right down the hall but it was very damp and humid. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and the freezer was full of caked up ice.
I would stay there again even though we had these issues. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. But think it is important for them to know about this so they can make improvements.

We had a family of 4 with two teenagers, so great to have a large spacious room with plenty of floor space to spread out. We had the standard guest room with two queens and stayed between Sunday to Monday. Room could have been cleaner, noticed stains on the shower curtain, but otherwise ok.
Staff was friendly as typical of a Marriott chain. Location was convenient to I-80 / I-287 / US-46.
Breakfast was sufficient, warm food was packaged which was nice to check allergies and if you are concerned about cross contamination. Remember this being standard at the beginning of the pandemic, but most Marriotts that we stayed at recently have gone back to cooked/shared food.
The oatmeal and bagels/pastries were standard Marriott fare, aka not packaged.

This hotel was a back-up hotel for the convention since the main hotel was sold out but was actually nicer. We got a free breakfast, full amenities in the room and a quiet night's sleep. The host hotel had expensive meals and you had to rent certain room amenities. Plus with a gothic convention going on till the wee hours of the morning it was not too quiet. I feel we got the better deal at Fairfield Inn and Suites.

My husband and I stayed at this property for two nights. The room was larger than most hotel rooms. There was a separate sitting area with a TV in addition to the bedroom with a TV. We also had a refrigerator and a microwave which was nice.
The true downside of the room was the Free WiFi was constantly cutting out! The bathroom was OK. The rooms need to be renovated definitely.
Hot and cold breakfast was available for free each morning. The breakfast choices were limited but fine.
The fitness center was much nicer than some other Marriott properties where we have stayed.
All in all, I more than likely would not choose to stay here again until the rooms and Wifi are updated.

There are restaurants around the hotel, such as Houlihan's, TGI Fridays, Panera Bread, Subway, and many local non chain options as well; however, we are located on main highway US 46 East, so walking to these restaurants would not be an option.
