We recently finished up our week at the Roman Holiday, so I thought I would say a few words. We used to come here when our kids were young. They're out of the house now so it has been awhile. It was always a little run down, but with a great location - a short walk to the Boardwalk, and great beaches just across the street.

They were running a special during the week this year, and for the price you could not beat it. Because of the COVID virus, we thought long and hard about coming. We are really glad we did.

They've taken room sanitization seriously. The room was REALLY clean. We brought our own "gear" to wipe things down, but that was pretty much for our own peace of mind.

Staff wore masks (as we did). And, much to our surprise, the rooms have been seriously remodeled, and are individually owned. They are nice! A particular "shout out" to the General Manager, Daniel, who recommended a room to me when I was booking, and was always available to answer a question or two. The facility has never looked better - freshly painted and cared for. And the location can't be beat...

We returned to this motel which is a renovated turned condo like business. It was easy to research their website and make our 2 night stay reservation online. Rates were value-priced pre-season. We chose a “C” unit on the 4th floor which included a separate bedroom with 2 queen beds and fold-out couch in the living room (for banned snorers like me). Dan greeted us warmly upon arrival and our room was ready. Despite its age, this motel has some nice updates on layouts, decor and cleanliness. It also is right across the street from the beach/ocean but be aware that stockpiled sand for later erosion use may cause temporary inconvenience in a direct walk to beach.

The location at the end of the boardwalk is excellent as it is quiet yet still close to activities, eateries, walking and biking. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Evna the fellow guests were welcoming. We went twice this summer and may squeeze in another trip before fall sets in.

We have been staying at the Roman Holiday for the past 3 years and we absolutely love it! The location is perfect as the beach is right across the street! We have small children who just love the pool. It's also not a far walk from the boardwalk so the location of the Roman Holiday fits all of our needs. The rooms, the pool, and the sun deck are all very clean. Daniel is so friendly and helpful, he's just one of the reasons we want to keep coming back every summer! We've made some wonderful memories at the Roman Holiday and look forward to many more!!! We recommend staying here if you want a clean place with a wonderful staff!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I rented two rooms and they were very clean and kept nicely. My preference was the room that had the pool view and moving forward, I would opt for those rooms or the rooms with the private balconies. One of my rooms was room S. It does say in the description "no view" but I didn't expect to be at the end of the alleyway. Everything about the room was great except the location (more my fault for renting it). We had a very very very cold and rainy week. Thankfully I had the second room with the pool view, otherwise, if I was only in Room S it would have been extremely disappointing. I will definitely return to the Roman Holiday. It is a great place to stay!!!!!!

We have been going to the Firemens Convention for over 35 years. Spending 3 days at hotels. Last year we found Roman Holiday Hotel. It was so amazing we booked this year and already booked for next year. The hotel is well located across from the beach, quiet, family friendly and so clean. Dan and Betty went out of their way to make our stay perfect. All of the staff are so friendly. Hopefully we can book more time next summer with all of our family. Our grandchildren love it. Especially the pool. Great Job

We stayed here end of September. We stayed with family and friends and each one loved their rooms. The place is very clean and staff is very friendly. We usually stay in August but due to Covid we decided to postpone. Although this was our first time in the off season we had a wonderful time. Most boardwalk stores were closed but we expected this. Would definitely come again.

My husband and I have been going to Roman Holiday every May for over 5 years. I also go with my child every September for also about 5 years. This May of 2023, Daniel upgraded our room. We absolutely loved it. Even though I have to say that any room we get is also beautiful but this room was exceptional! What a wonderful surprise! It feels so good when someone recognizes the loyality in their customers. Words can not express how very nice Daniel was and the the staff! As always, I will continue to book every May and September and if we ever decide to go in between, Roman Holiday is where I will be! Thank you again Daniel, words can express how you made us feel!
