I enjoyed the motel and pool . Kate and employees were very sweet and tending to all needs. Although cleaning rooms due to covid is cleaned after check out not daily . You need to clean up after yourself. That's easy. . Got to keep employees safe. . I always stayed in that area as a a child So close to everything. The true experience of the old day beach stays. If your uppity your probably in one if those giant condos. I want the experience of old beach days. Pool is so clean and salt water great for your skin. Price is great for those who don't have much but want to give their family a real beach ,boardwalk experience. I have read some bad reviews stating bad things said about owner employees and motel I disagree strongly

Dated, worth price, staff very friendly. Budget motel without doubt but not bad by any means. It is basic. We got a room here because pet friendly (dog). Rooms vary, we had top left but dog had trouble with stairs so switched room to bottom. Major diff between the two, no sure why the huge variation, but my review would be much diff (bad) if both rooms were same. Again, receptionist and staff were extremely polite and accommodating. We are easy going and didn't need much, but I'm sure they'd help anyone. It is cheap for a reason. If you are a prissy, stuck up karen, look elsewhere. If you just need a half decent, well priced place to hunker down in wildwood (esp if you have pets), this is your place. Excellent location relative to Boardwalk. Was a hectic weekend for unrelated reasons and we somehow ended at White caps. As crazy as it was, I'm grateful for WC and I'll never forget it.

First, I have to say that the staff was great. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room however, was not great. Very small and extremely cramped. Hard to even walk around. Absolute worst part of entire stay was the lack of hot water and the no water pressure in the shower. The water almost water never got warmer than tepid our entire three night stay. You'd think you could just hop into the shower and be quick, but that's impossible because it takes forever to wash and rinse your hair due to the lack of water pressure. Not too far from the boardwalk, which is great, but the nightmare that was the shower situation and the cramped room would prevent me from staying here again.

Although the staff is very friendly, this motel has seen better days, decades ago. The property owner should seriously consider tearing it down and rebuilding. The “free parking” is very hard to find unless you never leave the premises. Security is lacking. The accordion screen on the window a/c unit next to the door in our room could be pushed aside, allowing someone to reach in and open the door. No security chain. The wi-fi was free but I was rarely able to connect.

I was at the white cape motel and it is very clean . I stayed here because I have a small dog and she loves it here too. it is a basic hotel clean and the pool is also clean if you have a pet this is your hotel. The bathroom is very nice the beds are Comfortable and it is a short walk to the beach and restaurants.so bring you 4 legged friends and enjoy wildwood NJ

The location is great!! Walk right up to the boardwalk for games & a very short walk to all the rides! As soon as we walked in the room you could smell the bleach & very clean. Gave us plenty of towels each day. It is a little older of a property but perfect for a motel in wildwood. Owner is so friendly & once she found out it was my daughters 16th b day she got her balloons! So sweet.

I have stayed at many hotels/motels. Was suppose to stay here for 2 nights, but this place is truely soo filthy I can only manage 1 night. . The door is literally covered in black filth, AC is rusted and simply beyond old and leaking. Outside carpet ripped, outside tables filthy, I would not stay here again, even if it was for free. On a positive note the location is good and the pool is nice.

I would strongly suggest staying away from this motel. We visited 2 times in July. The first time we had ants all over the dressers. I mentioned it at check out, but did not make a big deal of it. Stayed again 2 weeks later, and it was a disaster. Check in is at 3pm, but we were told our room would not be ready until 4:30 because they had no clean linens. We were to meet family in Cape May for dinner at 4:30, so clearly that did not work. At 4:40 our room became available. We were in the room for 5 minutes when my 2 year old granddaughter found a drapery hook on the floor, which definitely posed a danger, but I understand that things like that can happen. We checked out the pool and noticed that several containers of chemicals were sitting in the open within 5 feet of the pool. We also noticed that the pool had a gray hue. After going out for the evening and returning to the room, we retired for the night. Upon waking at 8 am, we discovered that the refrigerator had somehow leaked all over the floor. Our bags were wet, our laptop charger and phone chargers were wet, clothing wet...upon checking out, we explained all of these things to the manager. She got very angry because we asked for a partial refund. She wanted pictures and to see our wet items. We showed her and she told us "no refunds" and also told US to never come back! I find this very interesting since we pointed out some pretty serious issues, and she got EXTEREMELY angry. So please do yourself a favor and DO NOT WASTE your vacation, time, or money at this place. Bad, bad, bad.

IT IS COMMON SENSE THAT IF YOU UNPLUG THE FRIDGE , IT WILL DEFROST.it leakedYou are banned from ever coming back to the White Caps or any sister resort motels. It was very rude from your daughter to show finger , we do not tolerate that kind of behavior. if you raised your kids this way it is your bussiness but stay someplace else.We have nice families staying here and we do not want any disturbances or rude guests who show finger

Terrible Reading booking white caps introduction and watchin photos u can imagine a really different location. Our room is not in the photos , being small with bed close to the wall and without furniture and tv on the back. No shampoo or other services offered in the bathroom just a small soap. no plugs available to charge phones or laptop. Noisy: people talking loudly after midnight and nobody at the reception (24h?). Dirty inside and outside , cars parked everywhere, closing the stair access to 1st floor ( very dangerous) . swimming pool where i’d prefer not to allowe my son to go in. And finally? A cost of 4 star hotel!!! 190 usd for 1 nite? Sorry , not accettable !

The Matador Hotel is at 511 E 16th St in North Wildwood while the White Caps Motel is at 25th & Atlantic in Wildwood....so about 10 blocks away. Hope I have helped.
