We decided to stay at this location after attending a sporting event at Rutgers University. Our room was clean,check in was swift, and the location on the first floor was directly opposite the pool and fitness center and a few seconds from the breakfast area which was convenient. The breakfast staff tried hard to keep up with demand, replenishing the coffee, muffins, etc. The only complaint we had was when we strolled out to breakfast (around 9:20 a.m.) the fruit was gone and not replenished. This hotel is located next to a few shopping plazas, and although we couldn't find any restaurants with "character" nearby, the proximity of Trader Joe's, Rite Aid and Panera was convenient. We would stay here again.

I was greeted professionally and courteously by the receptionist and quickly provided a key for my room. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with a nice writing desk for work in the corner. Within one block walking distance is a drug store, a grocery store, and a restaurant. The continental breakfast layout and selection is better than most restaurants, and the staff were once again very friendly. Check-out was easy.

Hampton Inns maintain very consistent standards and this one has all the amenities that you would expect from this brand. What disappointed me was the service. The front desk staff with whom I interacted were civil but less than friendly, including some distressing "attitude." Their solution for breakfast during Covid is very poor compared to what other hotels are doing.
On the plus side the hotel if right off US 1 and in a reasonable quiet and safe environment. This is not a terrible property by any mean, just not up to the experience that I have come to expect from Hampton Inns.

It was so nice to have a shower with a glass door that closes! No worrying about flooding the floor or being cold. We didn't plan on staying here but we hit some bad weather. Can't beat the accommodations for the price. The hotel looks newly renovated. The hallways are nice and bright. I will definitely stay here again. Only negative thing was the hard boiled eggs were frozen and only two large towel in the room.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The hotel staff was great. Breakfast was decent, no complaints there.
BUT we booked this hotel for the pool. Spent an extra 60 for a hotel with a pool. Called to make sure it was open, which is was. When we got there the pool was open but gross. It was so cloudy and should not have been open for people to go in.
When you book a property for the entire reason that there is a pool it’s extremely upsetting when you spend the extra money and you can’t even use the pool because it’s not maintained.

Usually stay at Hampton Inns while travelling and am usually satisfied with their offering. This one charged a supplemental deposit which they claimed was normal practice in all hotels. This of course is patently untrue. Be aware of this before you reserve. The hotel was of a lower standard than other Hampton Inns I've stayed at.

I like to stay in different properties within the Hilton portfolio. Usually I try new locations I have not been to before. However, this time in need of a jetted tub with my leg and back pain, I reserved a whirlpool room here once more ( I had visited 2-1/2 years prior and provided a good review).
As always I checked in via the app the day before arrival. Tried to choose my room but was not given a choice until the day I got there. A digital key with the room number came while I was driving to North Brunswick.
Upon arrival I went right to my room and found it to be chilly. I tried to adjust the temperature via both the thermostat and on the HVAC unit itself by the window, but there did not appear to be any response to get some heat on a cold December day. Now I went to the front desk. The woman there was very accommodating, taking a walk to the room to try it herself. But it was to no avail as the system was not working. She re-accommodated me in another whirlpool room that was luckily available down the hall.
Other than that, my stay was great. Once in the 2nd room I was able to relax. The heat worked well, as did the WiFi and TV. Bed was comfortable and I got a good night of sleep. Ample space in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was good and hearty for someone who is not a breakfast person.
I continue to recommend this location if in the New Brunswick area, as it is convenient to US 1 and US 130.

We needed overnight accommodations for a surprise 60th birthday party in New Brunswick, we chose this hotel and so happy we did. It had to be one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Everyone that worked there was pleasant . The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were so comfortable. It was so clean and fresh smelling. I highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal for a very comfortable stay. Great customer service, good breakfast, spacious room, quiet, and clean. Friendly and attentive staff and in the room there is a microwave and mini fridge. There is complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby and a pantry area with beverages, snacks, frozen meals if one arrives late you do not have to worry about getting something to eat and drink.
