Just got back from the Residence Inn by Marriott in Neptune, NJ. The studio room was almost like a mini apartment with full fridge, sink, stove, dishwasher, dishes, etc. Desk and separate table and chairs, couch and comfortable chair with ottoman. Style was modern, newish and clean.
Loved the coffee and tea available 24 hours in lobby. Staff tried to please; everyone masked and socially distant.
I would definitely return to this motel!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Location was fine but nothing really within walking distance of hotel. The fitness room was closed which was upsetting because when I searched for Marriott hotels and used the filter for fitness centers, this should NOT come up. I have a big problem choosing this hotel b/c it has a fitness center and then it's under construction.

While I saw some negative reviews, I decided to stay here anyway and am glad I did. The location was ideal for me and the price was reasonable. Yes, it’s going through renovations and there were some slight inconveniences, but it did not bother me.
The suite was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I wasn’t around for the breakfasts but the spread seemed about average and the coffee was very good.
I will stay here again.

Amazing front desk customer service. Von at the front desk is amazing. Customer service skills are incredible and always focused on the guest experience!!! Marriott is lucky to have him on the team. His skills should be recognized and celebrated.

My youngest and last of four kids to marry had her wedding in her home state of New Jersey. We picked this Residence Inn as it was close to the venue (14 minutes drive) and I had stayed there before as a guest on business. It was the best place that I have chosen out of all 4 weddings of my kids! The hotel and their staff were excellent!!! The breakfast each morning had very attentive and helpful staff. Housekeeping did one specially booked super cleaning for me mid-period as I had booked 2 weeks to be early for the wedding and help my daughter. So I practically lived there for that time period. I had my grandson with me as he could do online school during this pandemic using their high speed internet (I am a Platinum member). The managers and front desk were always helpful and treated me and the bride so nicely. They also made sure to be attentive to our guests in the wedding room block.

I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the last 12 years. The location was ideal for visiting family at nearby Seabrook Village. Every time I arrived, I was greeted by extremely kind and friendly staff most notably the general manager, Barbara. She works incredibly hard to ensure every detail is covered and every customer feels valued. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast and happy hours (pre-COVID) were plentiful with healthy options and plenty to do nearby including great restaurants, premium outlets and fun at the Jersey shore. Highly recommend!!

Seemed ok at first even though it was way too expensive for this level of Marriott. This was a quick last minute booking for a family funeral. Staff was fine. Hotel and rooms are in need of updating. Our TV didn’t work and although they would send someone to look at it, we were not comfortable with additional staff in our room during COVID. Wallpaper peeling off the bathroom walls. Tub faucet difficult to turn. No paper towels or towels in the kitchenette. Barely Bathroom towels.
We sprayed the room down with disinfectant upon entering.

During my stay at this hotel, i was made to feel right at home. The staff is so friendly and always made sure i had anything i needed. Specifically Diamond, Barbara, and Emily. These young ladies go above and beyond with each guest. Always a pleasure to speak to. The housekeeping team is also going above expectations making sure everything is spotless.

We stayed here for a night while passing through town to visit some friends for dinner. Everything about this hotel was great - the location, the room, the complimentary breakfast and especially the staff - they are extremely friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

This "Residence Inn" really damages the Marriott brand, and the "Residence Inn" brand. The property is run down, poorly maintained, unclean and I only wished I would have read the similar reviews before booking here. After reporting the condition of my room and requesting an adjustment on my bill hotel management said they try hard to keep it clean and that all the run down items would be addressed in an upcoming renovation. Sorry, but a toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, holes in the wall, and worn out furniture is a maintenance issue, not a renovation issue. I have included several pictures. in this review, like other reviewers. The local hotel management denied me any compensation or adjustment, instead offered me a discount in the fall. I sent a complaint to Marriott and they offered me 5,000 points and said that ultimately the hotel owner has all the power. Marriott, this property is not worthy and your handling of this matter fell short. Like other reviewers, I've lost faith in Marriott.

Art K, I apologize you did not enjoy your stay, and felt we are not worthy of the Marriott name. I'm not sure who you spoke to that offered 5,000 points. Furniture that is worn or broken gets replaced with owners approval, hence we say renovation. The Residence Inn Neptune finished the guest surveys above the brands bench mark for the first wave in 2022. Yes, we missed things like everyone does, but some of your comments are not the on property staff. I'm not sure what room you were in, what you paid, but, I would like to look into your comments a little deeper. Thank you

We stayed there last week (6/20 - 6/22) and housekeeping did not come into the room. However, upon arrival we were told if we needed anything to ask at the front desk. We saw the housekeeper in the hall and we were able to switch out towels and get extra shampoo and conditioner.
There are more places to choose from in the Neptune area.
