Stayed four nights at this comfortable and well-run property on a recent trip to the area. I will be a frequent traveler to the area going forward and will most likely make this my go-to.

My room had everything needed for a comfortable extended stay – a comfortable queen bed, full kitchen with all the necessary accompaniments, more than adequate floor space that included a semi-detached work and living space (with a pullout), and a good TV (on a swivel for switching between the bedroom and living areas) with both cable and streaming options.

Common spaces are nicely furnished and well maintained. I didn’t use the indoor pool or fitness center but they are nice spaces and I likely will on a future visit. Breakfasts, served in a bright and comfortable area, were typical of your included-with-room style in terms of quality and variety. Staff members I encountered were consistently friendly, helpful and professional.

The location of the property is excellent, with easy access to I80 and US 206 and 46, and yet tucked away in a quiet corner of the International Trade Center, an expansive regional office park. Parking is more than adequate and free.
In summary, this is a fairly typical business-oriented property consistent with the Residence Inn brand but I found it exceptionally comfortable and reasonably priced. I plan to return.

We stayed here for 8 nights while our local home was being renovated. It's in a convenient location, but that's pretty much where the positives stop.

The description says "recently renovated". Not sure what was renovated recently, or how they're defining "recently" but the place is very dated from furnishings to appliances.

We were in a 2-bedroom suite with a fireplace. The fireplace was nice because the heat didn't work a lot of the time. 3 of the 4 door handles in the suite were broken. Cabinets didn't close right, floors were filthy and there was a thick coating of dust on top of door trim and wall hangings. You could barely see out the windows. The couch sagged so bad in the middle that we put extra cushions and pillows on it to level it out. I could go on and on, but basically the rooms are maintained in a manner that keeps them at the very minimum of the definition of "functional".

The "mixers" Monday through Wednesday are really a food and beer grab by guests and staff. There's not really any mixing, but we were okay with that.

Why 3 stars? Two reasons. One is they take pets. We needed a place to stay with our cats. Two is that the staff is phenomenal. Very friendly, attentive and caring. If not for them this place would fold up in a heartbeat. Oh maybe a third reason - breakfast is awesome (also thanks to the staff).

Clean spacious rooms. Great breakfast varieties. Amazing staff except the general manager. I’ve notice him being beyond rude to guests and staff. If it weren’t for his employees I would not have come back. When I ask the front desk lady’s and the housekeepers for help , they always help with a smile. There’s been a few times that I had to ask the general manager for help and he talked down to me like I was an inconvenience and beneath him

Dear W4979DFroberts, We value your feedback and we appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We appreciate you as our long term stay guest and we are happy to know the rooms are clean and spacious and you like the great breakfast varieties. Furthermore, we are happy to know the staff is amazing and you come back because of the employees and they go above and beyond to help you with a smile. However, I am sorry to hear that you felt the general manager was not helpful and you felt that you were an inconvenience to him because the general manager assisted you several times in the past one year, he came personally to your room in the night time and he helped you to fix your TV, fix your cook stove top, turn off your smoke alarm when you used the fryer in the room and he brought utensils to your room. The general manager has always acted in a professional manner when dealing with guests and staff and treats everyone with respect. And, the general manager goes above and beyond to exceed guest's expectations and to make sure the guests have a great experience. You can read the reviews online and you will know the hotel is well managed and appointed because the general manger cares and the staff is well trained to provide great customer service for our guests to return. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss this further and if you have any issues or concerns during your stay. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we value you as our loyal guest.

I booked a room at this hotel and was dismayed by the morning sewage odor at the rear of the building. The source was apparently outdoors as the smell was worse there but it seeped into the room and it was quite bad. To make matters worse, the hotel double billed me for a reservation that was prepaid through the most common hotel booking website. I called them twice and they acknowledged the error both times and assured they would correct it but they never did. It's a Marriott but apparently a franchise run by people unfamiliar with the standards in our country for hygine and ethical business practices. Look elsewhere for accomodations.

This residence inn is but a shadow of its former self. The shrubbery around the inn is choked with weeds that are 2 to 3 feet tall. There has not been any yard care in months. Only one elevator was operating, leading to unnecessary delays when striving to maintain social distancing. Our door to unit 220 stuck, so that you had to push/pull hard to get it open or closed. The couch was dirty, we cleaned it with our Lysol wipes. The dishwasher was full of dishes, some dirty. The trash basket under the sink is just a tiny bathroom trash basket, too small for the remnants and trash from any respectable delivered meal. The 'breakfast' was 1 small apple, 1 small muffin, and 1 small granola bar...tied up in a plastic bag with a knot so tight we had to cut it open (good thing we had scissors with us). If you want hot coffee on departure, you best leave early, as they turn off the coffee machines at 9:30. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the unit was quiet. Otherwise we would give this Residence Inn a bottom rating.

This hotel has really gone down hill. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was in disrepair. The door knob to one of the bedrooms was falling off, the door on one of the bathrroms would not close, and the bottom half of one of the bedroom windows completely fell out without anyone near it (thank goodness, because someone could have been injured). The locks on the side doors to the outside of the hotel were broken. Anyone could enter the hotel through these doors at anytime, day or night. This was a major safety concern. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.

Dear Navigate425802, I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to write a review about your recent stay with us. Your feedback is very important to us because this is the only way for us to improve the quality of our product. We apologize the door knobs to the bedroom and bathroom were falling off and the bedroom windows completely fell off. We have informed the Engineering team of the issues with the door knobs and the window to make sure this is an isolated incident. We have ordered new locks for the side entrance doors and we will install new locks as soon as we receive shipment. Our hotel is undergoing a full renovation in November 2022 and we will be installing new fixtures, furniture and we will be remodeling the bathrooms. We will be installing stainless steel appliances in the kitchens and putting Smart TV's in all guest rooms. In addition, we will be renovating the lobby, fitness center and the breakfast area. We hope you will give us a second chance as we are striving very hard to improve the facility and to make sure our guests have a great experience.

I have just returned home from a 3 night stay at this hotel. I have stayed at this location a lot over the years due to its close location to my office. Since the pandemic, it has continued to deteriorate to the point where I can say this was my last stay. The room was damp to the point where the carpet was wet. On night 2, my toilet broke and the response was maintenance will be onsite in the morning and there is nothing I can do. If it were not for Jan who was in charge of the mixer night, nothing would have been done. She overheard the conversation, came to my room inspected the issue and worked with reception to have me moved. She is the bright light of the whole week. She understands and lives customer service. Thank you Jan!!! The new room had a sunken couch and shower. The shower was something I have never expected before with the middle sloped. It felt unsafe. The hotel is in desperate need of a makeover and staff training.

We are doing a large renovation on our home nearby and chose Marriott Mt. Olive to stay for approximately 1 month. I called in advance to see if our room was ready and they said it was but when we arrived the room had no oven. I’m here for a month so I need an oven. They found a room available on the 3rd floor. It was extremely dirty, kitchen was greasy and the floor is sticky. The shower/ bath combo didn’t drain, and you didn’t have an option for tub or shower since the diverter part was rusted shut. I had no other choice but to stay since every hotel around was sold out. I’m glad I had all my cleaning supplies since I had to clean the room. Was told that management is cleaning the rooms. Asked for towels and they had none. When we woke the next morning we had no AC. Maintenance came with a filter it did nothing to improve the AC. The temperature in the room is a constant 80 degrees. No other rooms available. Sorry is what we got. No gym, no pool, no amenities. Look elsewhere!!!!!! By the way the picture of the thermostat was taken at 9am.

We stayed on a road trip for one night. hotel wasn't the cleanest. The shower was dirty and had lots of soap scum, flies in the drain and the couch was broken. The pool is being renovated and is not available. The exterior was falling about missing siding and so forth. The room was spacious. Parking lot was big. The location was adjacent to highway but we did not hear any noise.
